Like wth?? I don’t want to stream in your walled garden SONOS. I want to listen to what I want when I want. 

I know some aspects of this topic have already been discussed, however if sonos keeps reading them who knows they may actually make software so full Android functionality can be integrated into all sonos products 😀 I have been told the new era 100 + 300 products do now have Android integration and allows sonos room sound correction software analysis the room and this optimization of these products,can  sonos not issue an software update to their older products to allow Android functionality? Also I would like sonos to allow amazon unlimited subscribers to be able to nativity use sonos products through the amazon music app thus giving amazon music uses fun functionality in what and how they play their music via sonos products come on sonos you can do it and finally I hope when sonos release the ARC 2 soundbar they give Android integrated as they do for the era 100 + 200 and also includes Two 2.1 HDMI connectors to allow connection to the TV and a Blu-Ray player or a PS5 Xbox x 

Hello to all,I have sent back 2 ERA 100 before the 100 days trial....and they have deduced 28€ as "surcharge"…Why???Wasn't it free???

This may by common knowledge but I wanted to share, so I use EERO for wireless in my home ( 3 unit mesh) and I’ll been having Sonos disconnect/ missing device issues..11 device system.. at random something is gone.. then back..  utterly annoying… managed to see a note somewhere to plug a single Sonos unit via Ethernet cable into the primary EERO unit, in my case right near the cable modem, super easy, follow by turning off wireless on that one speaker, 3 weeks later I haven’t had one issue since, no drop outs… no missing speakers… no app lockups .. again this my be we’ll known but this simple solve turned around my system, I hope it does the same for you.   -Todd   

Platform: iOSWe use Sonos a lot to play audiobooks for our children. One hurdle here is that the beginning of many books in a series is the exact same. That makes it really hard to know what search result to choose, because the full name is concatenated. We would really like that the text of each search result row is scrolled sideways so that you can read the full name of the track. One alternative solution is to have the screen rotate when the phone is rotated. Then there would be more space for the name of the track. But that is something everybody would not understad they could do. Scrolling would be automatic for long titles and everybody would see it immediately.

I am moving and leaving Sono’s amplifiers and a sonos sound bar with the new owners, I need to remove them from my system, Do I need to call support with the serial numbers and they can remove or can I remove within the App.  :Thank youBob

I discovered that I cannot use my android music library due to a new version of the sonos app.I consider this as a severe regression of the service I had from Sonos and will certainly change my audio system. A real shame !!!

From investigative journalist Brian Krebs:Little Snitch reported today that Sonos tried to connect to a domain called tmp.sonoschina.com. I can't find much information about this domain, other than it is China-based but is out of a US ARIN IP block. This is the first time I've seen something like that from Sonos. I said no thanks. I have a playbar, sub and play 3. I realize they are older products; however, who is as dissatisfied as me with regards to the abandonment of legacy products?  Clearly Sonos is no longer a premium brand.  Has anyone been able to get a satisfactory solution from Sonos?

Hi I am running a Stero pair of Sonos 5 and the sub and want to pair up a turntable , can any one suggest the WIFI connected turntable that I may look at which would connect and play without the RCA cables.Need to connect over wifi please

I am returning a Roam as I decided to upgrade to a Move. I received my returns label, commercial invoice and instructions - all good. Arranged with UPS to collect my parcel and waited in. No show. So I took the parcel, with the 3 invoices to a drop off a couple of days ago. Today it got delivered back to me. I spoke to UPS and they stated it would be collected today. No show.Can you see a theme developing? Also:With the exact same issue.Can anyone offer any advice? UPS & Sonos Customer Service have both been useless. The problem with this process is that I can never prove that I handed over the commercial invoices and it just keeps on getting sent back to me.

Morning all,I am trying to send a broken playbar back to Poland for a 30% discount code on a replacement.I printed out the forms sent to me by Ivytech. These were a shipping label and 3 waybills.DHL refused to collect as there were no commercial invoices.I spoke to Valerian, a member of the Sonos escalation team, who promised me the invoices would be sent to me.No communication or invoices have been sent since.Has anyone else had this problem? Valerian told me it was the first time he had ever heard that commercial invoices were required.Philip

I am going to install signal boosters in my home.  Will they impact the connection to my Sonos?  What should I be concerned about?  I use ATT router and internet provider.  

Hi folks, looking for a bit of advice with regard to selling on items that may then be used to get a discount on new products.I have a Connect Gen 2 unit that I no longer use. I thought I’d sell it on eBay, hopefully for a reasonable price, and I noticed that enquiries came in from dubious buyers who only seemed interested in seeing the product’s serial number. I realised that if I sent details of the serial number that this could be used to purchase a new product at a discounted price; is this correct? If the serial number is used for this purpose, does that automatically invalidate the original item? I think/hope I’ve avoided being scammed this way, and now wonder if the Connect is now potentially unusable, or will be if the serial number is later used in this way?  I thought I was being clever by not sending picture details on the Connect itself, but of course the number is on the box. 🙄

I’m planning to give my One SL stands to a relative. The problem is I cannot disassemble the part were the speaker is seating on (platform?)its composed of the upper part and the lower part disc clumped together and I cannot separate them.because of this, I cannot get the power cable separate from this piece. anyone has tried this yet?

Why have they removed this service from the app?, I bought my Sonos for exactly this reason.  So do I get a refund on my speaker if I return it, as it doesn't do what I bought it to do. An absolute travesty I think, if like me, you get sent music by bands and they want your reviews after listening, then surely this is an impact on my business and requires reparation of some kind from Sonos.

Hi, Some advice please.  I've a Sonos system that comprises of the following: Amp (wired, via ethernet, to the router)Play 5Play 3Playbar, 2 x Play 1, Sub (linked for Lounge/TV setup)  MoveRoam The problem I have is that I suffer from intermittent audio loss when streaming radio across my lounge setup and, my 'gut feeling' is, that this is probably being caused by a weak Sonos Net signal because the lounge setup is furthest from the wired Amp.  Is there any way I can improve the strength of the Sonos Net signal?  Would wiring in a Sonos boost to the router and let that generate the Sonos Net instead of the Amp help? Grateful for any advice anyone can provide?

I know I probably am not alone in this however just wanted to gauge how bad SONOS customer services are to everyone else. Apologies this is a bit of a moan however when you pay thousands for a top rank system I would have expected customer support to be a lot more on the ball than this. My Gen 2 Sub developed the infamous hum/interference noise. I contacted support and eventually agreed a return and replacement. I had to chase (via email) the return as repsonse from SONOS was minmal. The return went back to SONOS and arrived at their European hub in Poland on the second week in May. Then everything went quiet…..I gave it a week and phoned them to be told ‘yes it has arrived back and your replacement should leave the warehouse this week’. That was weeks ago and again nothing. I’ve sent three emails to SONOS asking for updates, I’ve received one very basic, generic response saying they would look into it and get back to me - following that, nothing. I phoned this morning and received the

 Found idly search in App Store on Apple TV. Called Sitnos, seems to work ok, but have never heard anyone mentioning it?

This week, I installed a new Mac mini to house my Roon Core. I configured my old mini as a Roon Bridge. I connected the HDMI out from the Bridge mini to HDMI 2 input of my Sony TV (Apple TV is on HDMI 1).This setup allows me to play 2.0 and 5.1 music from my Roon Core through my ARC, surrounds, and sub 3. The HDMI input signal includes the video portion of Roon, so I can access full info, including lyrics, on the 55” Sony while playing my music. A cheap Bluetooth keyboard with track pad lets me control it all from my couch.This install is somewhat like using the HDMI inputs on my TV as a preamp. I have an Oppo 103 set up on HDMI 4. It all works well. Not sure why  it took me so long to figure out how to do this, but it has increased my appreciation for my Sonos system. Now, if only something is done about the center tweeter on the 300s!

Not allowing people to play music from their device is absolute garbage. I specifically bought my sonos for this purpose as I keep all my music on my phone and do not use other services. For this reason I will be getting rid of my sonos and finding another option to play my music on. Good bye sonos. It was nice while it lasted! 

Is Sonos as good as Bose?

Since 23rd May I can no longer play my android files via my Play 1. This speaker is not bluetooth capable so why has Sonos degraded my usability?
