This song was being demo’d on the Sonos set at Best Buy on 9/15/23, and I can’t find it anywhere! My video on YouTube of unsearchable Sonos songI cannot find it anywhere. It's not on Shazam or SoundHound... no search of lyrics or combination will lead to anything. The closest I found was Sukihana - "Price Going Up" (from her classic album, "WOLF PUSSY,") but it's definitely not the same song.thank you
Has anyone returned a duplicate order before? I placed a 2nd order because I missed out on a cash back opportunity. Probably a dumb question but if the orders are the same exact set does it matter which one I send back? I’m guess yes because of serial numbers. 🤔
I have AT&T fiber and has worked flawlessly. Recently, last couple of days I’ve had WiFi drops. Tech came out this morning and changes a wire outside . Nothing else was changed. I have the same modem router and same password as before. Everything in the house is connected to WiFi and working. Two rooms with Arc, sub, and ones are working. However , app says Sonos not found and has to be on the same network as devices. Only thing I see different is iPad has this privacy warning on the WiFi (see pic) but iPhone does not..Again , same everything as before. Pics show what I’m experiencing . Ideas?
I installed Sonos in my living room with the following configuration: * Beam Gen 2 connected via HDMI Arc to my TV* 2x Sonos Era 300 on the back of my sofa* Apple TV with Plex, Netflix, Disney+,...* Trueplay calibration doneSo far, I'm disappointed with the result. The content watched isn't just movies and the sources vary (Plex, Netflix, Disney+ and TV channels).I find that the Era 300s at the rear don't add much. The sound has to be at a certain level for that to be the case. But the sound isn't often high, because there are 6 of us and someone always thinks it's too loud.I previously had HomePod v1s, which weren't bad at all, although their main use wasn't as TV speakers, but for music. It was more a Logitech Z906 kit. What was particularly good about the Z906s was the ability to choose the source of the sound, and in particular to output the same sound to all the speakers. This means, for example, that dialogue can also be heard on the rear speakers, thus reducing the sound level,
HelloI currently use different sonos product under my account in my main residence. I have replaced my Playbase with a Beam and would like to install the Playbase in my summer house. This requires me to cretae a new system with a different wifi network, correct ? How should I proceed ? May I still use the same account ?Kind regards,Xavier
Didn’t see this posted anywhere else, but the Boost is officially dead. It has shuffled off its mortal coil, it is nailed to the perch, etc.https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/boost-end-of-saleIt did a fine job for nine years, but SonosNet is clearly getting deprecated and some will have to live with crappy home routers not working correctly causing speakers to vanish from the app randomly.
It would be great if sonos would support Fcast Technology. It is an opensource protocol and would be an amazing way to support direct casting for Android phones and other Clients. https://fcast.org/
Hello Everyone,I have just built a mother in suite above my garage. I would like to split my current Sonos system into two separate systems so that guests can listen to music independent of the main house. Both systems would be using the same WIFI network. I would like to move over 2 sonos move 2, 2 sonos five, and 1 sonos sub. 1-How do I create a second system on my Android S22utra to control the new and old system separately?2-I am guessing that the speakers being moved from the main house to the mother in law suite need to be reset?3-Will both systems be able to be operated at the same time independently of each other?4-I have EERO pro WIFI. Thanks for any help. Please dumb it down so that I can actually be successful in following your instructions!
We have 2x Play 5s (Gen 1), a Play 3 and a Play 1. We want to add new gen speakers (a move and two Era 100s) but want to continue using the old ones as well.I understand we will have to set up a second Sonos group using S2 (I think) and that they will not be in sync. Do we need a separate controller for each or can the S1 and S2 apps coexist on the same controller (iPhone 14s in this case)? What else should I do or watch out for! Thanks to those who've gone before.
How do I let renters access the Sonos system in our vacation property?
Hello all, I’m extremely frustrated with SONOS customer support. I purchased a move, saved up and purchased a second one to use together. I mistakingly assumed or missed in the small print that these portable speakers can not pair via bluetooth. When I explained this to a customer service agent she was kind and understanding, she set me up with a return and said there will be no problem returning the second move that was purchased a few months previously, that it would just require some additional paperwork because it’s just over 45 days.I moved on and accepted that I would have to use another product so I went ahead and ordered replacements after being told a return wouldn’t be a problem. So I waited, followed up, waited, followed up and eventually got a reply that my return request was denied because I was just over the time limit. If this was the case I don’t understand why I was told I would be able to return the second unit, or why a request was even made given that the represent
Fantastic experience returning my Era 300. I followed Sonos directions for returning merchandise and the day they received my return they processed my refund. Customer service was quick to respond to my questions and provided helpful information. On 2 seperate occasions I had issues with my orders, both were problems I created. Customer service was excellent in helping me and I have no worries should I need assistance in the future. All in all, my experiences have been positive and their customer service is a model other companies should strive to emulate.
Current groups setup for alarms is ridiculous. If there is a reason that Sonos can't set up alarms with groups attached, please let us know. Thx
Hi All, please can anyone shed some light on this for me please. I'm an avid listener of Armin van Buuren. On Fridays he has a radio show called ASOT ( a state of trance) which I listen to for the last couple of years. Can someone please explain why this suddenly does not show up on any of my search results, it has simply disappeared from Deezer, it also used to be under‘Discography’, but no longer to be found anywhere? I’m really disappointed as it is theonly thing I listen to every week. many thanks in advance.
We currently have 2 x ONE: one in the lounge, one in the kitchen and both grouped. Music is streamed all day as we WFH.We’re thinking of buying a Beam soundbar for the lounge, and using that to listen all day in the lounge and grouped with the kitchen, and then when we watch TV. We’ve not really thought about what to do with the current lounge ONE.When we watch TV, will we need to un-group the lounge Beam and kitchen ONE, or is there a way to set this up so we don’t have to ungroup/group each time we watch TV?We could have the spare ONE in the lounge too, can I set up sub-groups? e.g.Group 1(ALL) > kitchen ONE, Lounge ONE, Lounge BeamGroup 2 (LOUNGE) > Lounge ONE, Lounge BeamAnd still stream music in the kitche whilst watching TV in the lounge? Thanks in advance, hope that I’ve managed to ask this in an understandable way!
Literally! After the SONOS website failed to process two of my orders in the past three weeks, its customer service team once more appalled me with their belligerent behavior. The outsourced team couldn’t care less about customer experience. They were the most impatient, most rude, and the most infuriating customer service staff I have ever encountered. On a separate topic, the SONOS website is seriously f*** up. After I updated my profile info, the field I tried to change remained the same while the website notified me that my profile was “successfully updated”. And when my orders didn’t go through, the website still gave me a confirmation page stating my order “has been successfully placed”.It seems nobody at SONOS cares about customer experience. What a shame and absolute disgrace!Moderator Note: Removed email and order number as personal information. Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
I need to forget the current system, ie Living Room, that I have created and start over. The command:Settings>System>Forget Current Sonos Systemis not available on the Sonos S2 appHow do I forget a system?
Hi,since volume could not be change with physical bouton on iPhone with iOS, it would be great to add logical bouton (-) (+) to action volume step by step. Slider is very sensitive when volume is low and could be hard to set.any tips with that?
When I go through the “Recently active” link and start opening all the posts I have not yet seen I get to around 25-30 and suddenly pages stop opening and I get a Cloudfront “blocked” message instead. If I go do something else for a couple minutes I can return and reload the blocked pages with no problem, well unless there too many.Bumping the limit to 50 wouldn’t impact the forum’s security much and would be far less hassle for me.
My medical plan pays for a subscription to the Headspace meditation App. I see Calm Meditation is lusted as a Service. How does one suggest an Service gets added to the Sonos App? Headspace used to be an Alexa skill but it was dropped.
In the first of many Community hosted events, we are happy to announce a Technical Q&A with Coen Westerveld, Principal Product Manager. Coen is a long-time veteran at Sonos joining back in 2013. Recently, he helped to bring Move 2 to life and will be able to answer questions pulled directly from this thread, as well as the thread on the Sonos subreddit. We will close for questions in about a week (5th of November).Need some inspiration for what questions to ask? Maybe a question or two comes to mind after reading our Essential Guide to Move 2. Or after reading the product page for the Move 2, you feel there is something else that you would love to know more about. So what’s on your mind? Have any questions for Coen about Move 2? Drop them down below! We’ll compile all the questions and share them back here.PS, we also got a video showing how the Move 2 is made 👀EDIT: After a lot of work from Coen and his team, we got answers to your questions.Coen and his team could not answer them
Hi folks. I recently purchased a Sonos Roam but on delivery decided I did not want it. Box not opened. On printing the docs it is being returned to Poland. Is that right given I live in the UK. Also, the pro-forma invoices show I paid USD 68.97 when I paid GBP £134. I am concerned I am not going to be refunded the correct amount!
For the rear speakers, I purchased the Sanus One Floor Stand. After use, I don't find it very practical, because the speakers are not really attached. Are there more suitable supports?Waiting for your return, I send you my best regards.
It’s seemingly impossible to get someone on the phone to assist with buying a Sonos product in Europe. I have upgrade credits I want to use - forget the fact that I’m 95% sure they cannot be combined with Black Friday discounts - however, I simply can’t find telephone sales support. This company seems to be in ruins, generally. The amount of technical support I needed just to reconnect an AMP after changing a WiFi router alone, was a poor enough experience for me to never buy another Sonos product. Now they won’t even let me buy one since I can’t use an upgrade coupon. This would all be comical if it weren’t so ridiculous. Help please. RDF
I have 14 Sonos units (1 unplugged) and have over recent years experienced poorer performance with multiple drop-outs, refusal to connect, lost speakers and so on.I’ve spent a lot of time with telephone support but feel progress is slow. Over the ears I’ve been told to Replace Bridge with Boost Wire a Sonos unit to router Remove Boost Un-wire Sonos unit and connect directly to Wi-Fi Then more recently it was gently suggested I consider a Wi-Fi mesh would be a good idea - I duly bought a TP-Link system and then when I continued to have issues Sonos suggested I change the channel only to discover this system chooses automatically and cannot change manually. Wire a unit - After that last suggestion last week I decided to move one of the TP-Link nodes near my new ERA 100s and wire that. - Nope. Need additional hardware to do that now. So I connected to one of my Play 3s (It means the node is not roughly midday between the main router and most distant ERA100 so presume not ideal). Then to
