Hi! How do I set up the sonos arc in cieling speakers to make a surround sound in my living room? I plan on having 2 in the living room and was thinking about installing them behind the sofa? Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone help? When my hisense tv and beam gen 2 are put on stanby mode there is no sound when the tv powers back up. You have to turn of the power and the arc is then recognised it’s quite annoying . any help much appreciated 

Hi there, I want to purchase Five and the 2 Room Set with Arc. However, I’m unsure of what are the minimum TV specs required for them to work smoothly? Could anyone help me please? That will determine if I can purchase them now or wait until I buy a new TV :)Thanks!

I currently have 2 Play3 speakers a Sonos soundbar and a Sub (Gen 2) all connected to a Bridge.  I want to upgrade to the Arc and 2x One SL Speakers no bridge.  2 Questions.  Can I continue to use the Sub Gen2 and do I need a new wall mount?

I still find previous version was the best as current sound feel low ( Lack of sound stage ) and insufficent of volume. It require high volume to meet with previous version. Anyone have such feeling, I hope SONOS can reconsider ver updates as previous dialogue is much clearer too.

I recently had my first stereo system refurbished, Marantz 2230 tuner/amp with a Philips 212 turntable.  I have wired speakers for the system which I will want to use on occasion.  My question is, what Sonos product would I use to bring the old system into the our Sonos system?  I have the following, Sonos Arc, Sub gen3, 2 One SLs as surround speakers and 1 Move.  I want to use the Marantz amp to drive the wired speakers and connect to the Sonos system, at the same time or separately. The Marantz has aux out.  My question is does the aux out require an Amp or can I connect to a Port?

Is there a way to attach the Ray Speaker to a wall mounted TV?

I want to install two TV’s outdoors that are very close to each other (less than 10’ and facing different directions).  I would ideally like the idea of having both TV’s play the same video and audio signal (with no human detectable delay) but potentially play separate signals.  I thought I would deploy it like this:*HDMI Splitter: Input=FireStick1.  Output1=TV1 HDMI1, Output2=TV2 HDMI1** So far just looking at a 4K powered splitter on Monoprice.com that has good reviews.  Not sure if this brand/model is critical as long as it does proper say 4K@60hz or whatever the requirement is?*TV1*HDMI1 input=Output1 from HDMI splitter described below*TV2*HDMI1 input=Output from HDMI splitter near TV1HDMI2 input=FireStick2This configuration allows me to set both TV’s to HDMI1 and use the remote for FireStick1 to see and hear the same audio.  If I want to have the TV’s broadcast different signals (perhaps one with audio muted), I can simply switch them both to HDMI2 and use two separate FireStick r

I have arc with sub gen3 .. can sub mini paired as 2nd sub to arc home theater setup ? i’ve heard at present its not possible..  any news on upcoming software update may allow this combination?

Hi,I am using 2 sonos amps (the recent models) with a bunch of sonos architectural speakers.The hardware is great, the sound is excellent... but. I can confirm after extensive testing that android streaming and sonos is not a very good idea.Ok, it works…. for a while… and I can make a work again. But at home we have a mix of iphone’s and android devices. Airplay works in 100% in the cases ok, always. The problem are the android phones, after a while, of after using Airpay… it doesn’t work well any  more. Yes, the solution of re-authenticating spotify works, or rebooting the amps. That works, but, it remains extremely annoying. I am 100% sure this is not a network problem. It is a problem of not being 100% compatible with android. And certainly the mix of Apple & Android devices to control the amps. Sadly, I already extensively discussed this with Sonos support … but they always put the blame somewhere else. My samsung galaxy10 connects yet volume controls won’t function. when I increase the volume it decreases it straight away. Orange light cycles back and forth with blue light. This happens if I use controls on roam or on phone.

Where can I sell gently used equipment?  Does sonos do buy backs?

Is there different gens of the Sonos Fives and when using them as surrounds do they need to be vertical or horizontal or does it matter?

Was reading many complaints. Eventually all complaints end with sending diagnostics to Sonos. But I didn't read about a solution, so wanted to add the solution I got.  I have Sonos ARC connected to Samsung 75" smart TV. Arc connected to Hdmi 2/ Arc, also have apple TV and Xiaomi mi box S streamer. To solve the problem where Sonos Arc disconnects. I had to go into the xiaomi streamer and disconnect its CEC settings.  Problem solved.  

Hello everyone!I am planning to buy a Sonos system but I have a lots of doubts about what to get, hope you can help me.The system is for a house bar, we play everything trough the TV (Youtube, spotify, netflix, sport games in the TV, etc) we do not watch movies, just music videos in youtube or just music from spotify, the sustem will be for music; so I am planning to use an ARC with the sub for it, also I want to add two ones but no to use them as sorrounds, my question is: This set up would work good for music? It would be loud and clear? What if I change the ones with two fives, this would sound good with the arc? Is this set up Im planning to get a good idea or it would be better to use an amp with regular speakers? Hope you could help me, thanks in advance!  PS: One of the reasons I am thinking to get sonos is that I also want to have the option to add more speakers in another space of the house where I could play the same music of the bar at the same time.Remember, the main or onl

Hi, I can't seem to find Twitch on my Play 1 speakers. I usually use either Alexa or my Android phone to use Sonos. A few other music streaming services are available, like Mixcloud. Will Twitch be available? A lot of my favourite DJs only play on Twitch.

I currently have my LG Oled C8 connected via eArc to a Beam Gen1, with 2 Sono One’s at the rear. What would be the best upgrade path for me? Adding a Sonos Sub Mini, or upgrading the Gen1 Beam to a Gen2?   

Hello,I would like to suggest a new feature for the iOS App of Sonos. It would be great to have profiles for the EQ that automatically set at a given time the EQ according to a preset config/profile.E.g.: I could create two EQ profiles that automatically adjust the EQ once a given time is reached (skipping loudness in this example); “Profile Day at 8AM” with Bass +10 and Treble +5 and “Profile Night at 9PM” with Bass -10 and Treble +0.→ That is it for the basic feature! The Sonos sound system seems to be currently unaware of the night/day time and does not adjust accordingly.Most of my home and/or smart devices etc. are “going to sleep” (and “wake up” as well) at a given time I set; dimming the light, filtering blue light etc. and that would be an awesome feature for the sound system as well. More ideas for fine-tuning or extra features:Support different profiles for different days; this way weekends could have “a little extra hour of full sound” or something like that. There is a nightmare I have where i can’t log in to a really important site because I can’t remember my password, or at least the one I can remember isn’t accepted. However, there is a “forgot your password” button and I am emailed a reset password email, which I follow, to a new password that is accepted by a website, a forum, but not where I want to log in.ON the Sonos App. I am baffled that this nightmare has come to life: Sonos app asks me to log in but doesn’t accept my password. I reset and am directed to the website. When i go back to the app, again I am told the password is incorrect, but I can reset my password. And so the merry go round continues. I know the propagation of the password information can take a few minutes, or that you can’t update an account that doesn’t exist. Doesn’t apply. I also thought I should update the app, that might fix it. Oh, you need to login to update... So how is it reset my password on the Sonos app is broken and how do i log into my Sonos app s

My Sonos Move is so useless we’ve stopped trying to use it.What a total waste of money.I’ve had it for over two years and it constantly disconnects itself from WiFi AND Bluetooth.When I’ve finally got BOTH connected again it still won’t play ANYTHING - WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.I bought a cheap ‘ Creative Muvo Mini’  Bluetooth speaker and it works perfectly EVERY time - why is SONOS so difficult to use! Sent from my iPad

Hey I’m sure this has been asked before but having spent some time searching the forums I can’t find a definitive answer.Can I play Apple Music Lossless audio through my Sonos system? My understanding is that this isn’t possible through the S2 app, but does this work via Airplay? ThanksRex
