I have a LG C1 OLED TV with a Sonos Beam, Sub, and two Plays for my rear audio. My Beam is connected to my LG’s eARC for audio. I also have a very heavy gaming set-up that includes a PS5, Xbox Series X, Gaming PC, Nitendo Switch, and an Apple TV.I want to take advantage of 4K 120hz gaming, but also keep my Dolby Atmos for my Apple TV and gaming when available. I don’t have enough HDMI inputs on my TV to hook everything up. Would a AV receiver like the Onkyo NR-6100 work if I used that to just hook all my gaming systems and Apple TV into it and then connect that one of the TV’s HDMI 2.1 ports and keep the Sonos Beam connnected to the TV’s eARC or would there be audio pass through issues with that? If that wouldn’t work is there any HDMI 2.1 switches that anyone can recommend?
I am thinking about buying an Arc soundbar with 2x Sonos 1 speakers for TV. Instead could I buy an Arc with only 1x Sonos 1 and a Move instead of the second Sonos 1? Would this work?
i have 3device play:1left & right conected already to the surround but i dont know how to conecte the therd as a middle in my behind !
I bought a sonos five from Amazon in Japan, do I need a transformer or a universal voltage for use in China?
I currently have my Sonos Connect connected to a Sony STR-DH590 receiver to power my Living Room in ceiling surround speakers. Is there anyway to connect my Sonos Arc to this receiver so I can have the ceiling speakers and ARC play together?
I am trying to control the sound volume with a remote. I have tried my Chromecast remote and my TV remote and in both cases it only controls the Beam volume not Sonos 5 although they are grouped
I just got Sonos arc after reading lots of reviews. I want a soundbar now without woofer and surround speakers and may add these stuff later. However very disappointed with sound quality. Almost no surround effect (Atmos etc). But that’s ok. May be my expectation was too high. Biggest issue is the bass. This thing has no bass!. My $200 bose TV speaker has much better bass (that’s all I need). I don’t see many reviews mentioning this despite some early threads. Is this normal? Is there any solution?I use Android device. So certain features are not available in app. My TV has ARC output, but don’t see it’s eARC. Does it matter for bass? Here’s an example. The short movie ‘Olaf's Frozen Adventure’ in Disney+ has deep bass at 19 minute and 27-28 seconds. It’s great with my tiny bose speaker. But almost none with ARC. All comments are appreciated.
Hi Community,New to Sonos. I apologize if this is noob question. I have Roam SL paired with 2 devices, (PC and Android). When I use with PC, I must Disconnect before using with Android. When using with Android, I must Disconnect before using with PC. Is this by design?I have Bose headset which I can pause one device and listen on the other without Disconnecting and Reconnecting. (Both devices remain connected)Any insight would be appreciated!Chip

Hi,I have just taken over a series of sites that have Sonos at each location, primarily with multiple connect amps at each. The systems have all been created with different accounts, some logins are known and others are not.If we need to reset a site with 8 connect amps on as the login is unknown and updates cannot be applied do we need to remove all amps from the network and add them back one-by-one? Then add at setup we can add the connect:amp(s) to a known account?
I have problems with the recently played list. Sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn't.I have opened the (Android) app several times today and it was showing earlier today, now it isn't.Does anyone have any idea why this might be.Thanks
I have Sonos speakers in several rooms. I would like to connect my Sony receiver, Sony Turntable and Sony CD Player so that they can play my large vinyl and CD collections over my Sonos System. I don't have non-Sonos speakers that I want to attach to my receiver, but I do have a Sonos speakers in the room where the equipment is. What I am thinking of doing is to hook up the turntable and CD player to the receiver, then connect the receiver to a Sonos Port. My receiver does have a REC OUT connection if that is needed in this scenario. I seem to be getting various opinions from different sources on whether this will work or not. Is there anyone in this community that can give me solid advice on this topic? Thanks.
How many Sonos Roam speakers can be connected to one network?
Not sure if this is something Sonos has but wondering if Sonos could gave a Modes setting sort of like with tvs but maybe it’s redundant. A way for the user to adjust sound based on different situations. For Sound only you already have night and improve voice but how about settings for stadium, party, rock, easy listening, fine listening, pop/funk/rap just as a few examples. It would adjust the profile to account for those needs. On the tv side it would work in conjunction with the tv settings for movies, sports, etc. Remember stereo receivers had something like this. Thoughts?
Of course I have an Android so can't use true play but I have a sonos roam which does have true play. Is it possible to true play my Theatre Room which consists of an Arc, 2 play 5's and a sub with my Roam? If not then wouldn't this be an excellent way to true play your equipment? You figure this would be the next best option for sonos just means more money in their pockets.
Hello,I’m considering to buy the new Sonos Sub mini. Can you confirm to me that it will be compatible with my Sonos Playbar :Sonos OS2Version 14.14ID : A100Hardware version : 1.9.1.10-2.2 thank you !
Overnight all my Sonos Speakers ( 2xPlay1, 1x Play3, Playbase) except one dropped off. The exception was my Move which was switched off. When I turned that on this morning it connected to the app. I have been through all the trouble shooting steps. The final comment was " try again later"! Any thoughts or advice anyone?
I just signed up as a Premium Plus Jazz Groove member. They claim that after proper config on their website that I will start receiving HD content on Sonos (where I have added them as a service). Has anyone else done this and seen the “HD” tag on the Sonos player app that confirms CD/HD content is streaming?
I noted that with OS 14.12 that 5GHz WiFi is supported on my older Play:1Stupidly I went ahead with trying to change network settings. The mobile app just wouldn't prompt to change or add settings in Manage Networks → Update Networks, even after deleting the existing network and connecting by wired, it just kept on looping round not finding the Sonos (as is mentioned in other threads here - as well as prompting to enable Bluetooth).I started to worry I’d never get wireless working again, in the end I factory reset the Sonos (hold Play button while powering on) and luckily the mobile app then did find the Play:1 and prompted to connect to the 5GHz SSID straight away. But the reset lost all settings, services, favourites, connections to the library, to Alexa, everything in fact, so a simple network change ended up taking hours of work.
Hi, anyone have experience with two Ikea frame speakers as left/right rears?
I have Amazon Music Unlimited and a Sonos Connect Gen 2. I want to listen to the best quality stream (over my hifi), which is Ultra HD on many songs in Amazon. However, I can’t get a clear answer from Amazon or Sonos on how to do this, AND verify it’s actually happening. Going round in circles as they blame each other on support calls. The situation is if I start a UHD song from the Amazon app on my phone and play it on the phone speaker it reports as UHD all the way through (when you click on the UHD badge and look at the stream>output page). So, ok...I am getting UHD and my network is up to the job. However, if I stream the song to the Connect then the same screen reports Audio Quality: Unavailable and also says “streaming quality is not available while casting”.If I then look at the Sonos app now playing screen there is just the Amazon Music logo, no HD or UHD logo at all.If I go the other way, and start a known UHD song on Amazon from the Sonos app then I do get a HD icon on the
Here's a crazy situation. So I own a Sony 900f and a 900e model TV. Those tvs have ARC ports in hdmi 3. So I bought a beam with surrounds and everything worked great. All of a sudden when I went to watch TV after having audio the day before, there is absolutely no audio coming through that. So I changed the motherboard on that TV and boom everything works absolutely fine. Upgraded to the ARC and after a month or so same issue happened with the HDMI 3 ARC port on that new board I put in. So go to switch out that board on the TV again with my protection plan from Best Buy where I worked as an Advanced Home Theater installer. That 900f ended up being dead in the water after replacing the board again, fine I got my money back on that TV. So I go to use my slightly older 900e series Sony, and it happened again tonight where there is no audio.I have done every form of functionality testing you can think of. Tested out an old sound bar of mine, that didn't get audio either, reset the app and
My old Bridge stopped working so I replaced it with a new Boost. Now my (controller) CR200 won’t seem to connect with my system. The CR200 will work if I disconnect the Boost and connect a speaker to an Ethernet cable but once I reconnect the Boost to the Ethernet cable the CR200 the controller stops working and won’t connect to the system. I can operate the Sonos system on the Sonos app bonus my iPhone but I really was hoping to keep using the CR200 controller. Any tips?
i would like to see volume markers ie 1, 1,5, 2, 2.5 on the apps so that you can see the volume level instead of remembering the position that you like to turn your volume up and down to. I would had thought this would had been on the Sonos 1 and Sonos. 2 apps many years ago and is quite basic but very useful in my opinion.
I am looking to replace my 15 year old Sonos Pay 5s n the near future and take advantage of the upgrade scheme. I have read in the rumour mills that Sonos are going to replace these with mult directional sound speakers. Is there any truth in this and if so what is the approximate time scales?
