Hi!
How do I set up the sonos arc in cieling speakers to make a surround sound in my living room? I plan on having 2 in the living room and was thinking about installing them behind the sofa? Any help would be appreciated.

But I can't also help but wonder if you have misunderstood what upward firing speakers are?
Assuming you mean using in-ceilng speakers as surrounds in conjunction with the Arc which provides left/center/right channels then here are your options:
- You’ll need a Sonos Amp to power the the two in-ceiling speakers. See Amp here
- You can select your own 3rd party speakers as long as they meet the specification listed here
- You can use Sonos In-Ceiling Architectural speakers by Sonance shown here
