Hi all, I am trying to achieve an atmos setup in living room area. I have the Sonos Arc, Sub (gen 3) and an Amp powering rear in wall sonance. I believe that this will achieve the 5.1.2 system ? I would like to know if I add additional pair of sonance in ceiling speakers to the same amp, will this still achieve the dolby atmos or is it unnecessary to have the ceiling speakers ? 

I’ve got a rather old Sonos setup and it’s never really worked with audio sync, neither on my old or new TV.Setup:PlaybaseSubTwo * Sonos one’sLG OLED 65WX9LAI have tried fixing it so many times, but there appears no setting anywhere that can change it. I’ve read so many articles about it, but haven’t seen one that actually fixes the issue.Anyone had a similar problem and managed to fix it?

Can i connect a Move and a Roam?

I bought my first SONOS years ago, the S1. Absolutely love the quality, it exceeds many in the market.Found the app to be extremely inconvenient, frustrating, and unnecessarily complicated. Years after years I bought more of your product, I waited and waited for you to eventually improve your UX and UI, STILL AS FRUSTRATING AS THE FIRST DAY I BOUGHT IT -ALMOST A DECADE AGO. Setting it up today broke me and was a nightmare, please do something. All due respect to SONOS lovers, I respect you, but I need to be honest otherwise I would die with these words in my mouth. Please don’t try to educate me trust me I tried, I have been using it for years, and still is furious. To anyone in Sonos support, I beg of you, please stop it with the playlist only system for tracks. I just want to play my songs in library randomly. I had to create the playlist containing all my songs from the Apple Music library solely for your app. It was 10,000+ songs that I ticked by hand. You are making me so depresse

I have Sonos and it is on its own network yet guests are now accessing my system from the guest network. If they are on Wi-Fi they can access my Sonos system. This is new and something I can’t figure out how to fix.  any help is appreciated. I have a netgear orbi system.

It is only cosmetics but still bothers a little :) Why no picture for OneSL when Arc, Sub, 300s are showing a picture - Is it because they are now deemed obsolete? I can see this when I go to Sonos.com > My Account > System

I am building a covered patio.  I want to use the Sonos Five.  Can the Five be wall mounted?  Is it also recommended to be used in this manner?  The overview states it is humanity proof.  The unit will be high up on the wall near the ceiling an not exposed to the elements - just humidity and heat.   Please advise.

Hi - I am at a loss on how to connect the above products.My Epson LS800 UST has 2 HMDI ports. HDMI1 and HDMI2 (ARC) (It also has a HDMI 3 for Gaming, but that's not part of this concern.My Denon AVR - X2800 as the usual HDMI port plus one HDMI (ARC) port.The SONOS Soundbar ARC has a HDMI ARC port.The Cable Box has one HDMI1 port.I am currently configuring connections as follows:Epson LS800 HDMI2 (ARC) to the Denon HDMI (Arc)Epson LS800 HDMI1 to the cable box (HDMI1)So.. Where do I connect the SONOS HDMI Arc port?(I have previously connected the SONOS to the EpsonLS800 UST HDMI (Arc) port and that works fine (for sound from Sonos). But then I have an available HDMI (ARC) port on the Denon and no available HDMI (ARC) port on the EPSON (since SONOS is connected there) If I then connect the EPSON HDMI 1 port to the Denon HDM1 (cable/sat) port where do I connect the HDMI1 port from the cable Box?

Hi I want to connect a Platine vinyle Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB with sonos beam 2 In this configuration, it is preferable to use a sonos amp or a sonos port.I don't see the difference between the twothanks

Recently the sound from my Sonos Arc system sounds worse. Not as detailed and balanced as before. I feel that when there's a busy scene a lot of the sounds in the scene are quieter and a lot are just dropped. Initially I thought it was the specific content but it happens all the time.  I'm not sure why this has happened, no changes were made to settings or anything like that.  System is mainly used for TV audio.

Hi Sonos community,Anyone having issues to install the Sonos official wall mount in a plasterboard wall?I drilled and installed a wall plug but the screws included with the kit won’t stop twisting… The Sonos Era 300 haven’t arrived yet but I tested with a similar weight and not feeling very confident as you can see the wall mount coming off a bit from the wall…Any ideas or suggestions?Thanks in advance.

I have recently set up the Arc, Gen 3 woofer and 2 x Era 300s as surrounds.  They are connected to a Prism Q65 Pro TV which I now know doesn’t have eArc and only has Arc, which is not really good.  Problem I am having is I am not getting the real Atmos experience that I was sold on when I went to the SONOS showroom where you could really hear the sounds from above (great marketing).To try and overcome the lack of eArc I am thinking of purchasing the NVIDIA Shield Pro and using it to process the Dolby Atmos titles on the various streaming services. Can anyone provide me feedback on whether the Shield Pro is going to give me a better Atmos experience than what I am currently getting on the Prism TV?  I get the Atmos logo when streaming but I am not convinced the upward firing channels are working.  I am hoping the Shield will process the sound channels better.  As I understand I connect the Shield to one of the HDMI ports on the TV and then still use the ARC port to connect the SONOS Arc

Hi. I noticed there are a lot of threads dedicated to this issue dating back to 2021, but none look like they were ever resolved.  I have Sonos playbar + sub + 2 rear Sonos ones. A PS5 is connected to my Samsung Q90T via hdmi and a digital optical is connected to my Playbar. When I play games with Dolby or DTS (via ps5 audio setting) there is a noticeable lag when characters are talking in-game. When I switch to PCM via PS5 settings, the lag issue goes away, but it’s no longer 5.1 anymore. It’s stereo. I tried an eARC pass through adapter which worked for a little while (i think) then didn’t anymore. I was thinking of getting the Sonos Arc but read that people are still having the same issue, as are people with Sony and LG TVs. The PS5 is clearly the culprit, but Sony has done nothing to resolve or even acknowledge the issue. Has anyone figured out a solve? 

As soon as I log in the 25% discount disappears and my basket is updated to include the 15% discount for upgrade instead. Is there any way to swap the discount % or should I just create another account?Is there a downside to ordering from another account?

Thinking of replacing my old stereo setup that sits next to my tv. The TV is a Vizio that does not have a soundbar. Don’t really need surround sound because we really don’t watch those type of shows. It would be nice to have a better speaker setup for the tv to help clarify sound (announcers during football for example). I would also like to replace the stereo because I am digitizing my vinyl to load onto iTunes.I have a One SL that I’m using in the kitchen and am setting up our various music services and my own iTunes library. Now, I want to set up the living room.So, would it be better to have a Beam with maybe a sub mini or go with two One SL’s (or Era 100’s, although I don’t need the voice control) and a sub mini. I realize that I give up connecting the tv if I don’t do the soundbar. However, am I giving up the music sound quality if I do go with Beam over two speakers and a sub.Finally, the Five is a wonderful sounding speaker, but I think it is overkill in my 13x19 living room. I

Could someone tell me if I can use ROAM as front and/or rear speakers to create a 5.1 system?

Have had two ROAMS for about 2-years. Nothing but issues keeping them connected to WI-FI and Grouped.  Utter garbage!!!  Honestly the worst purchase I have ever made. What a waste of money.  Support system is about as useful as the speakers.

Is it possible to have in the set up of a given room: a pair of stereo Sonos Five + 1 or 2 Era 100 or Era 300?  Why? To get some sound in part of the room that is far away from the 2 Fives  To get the Sonos Voice Control for the room :-) Thanks, 

Anyone experiencing update error recently on their sonos product? seems like various discussions about this issue? maybe on their software?

Dear Sonos,It's time to support al DTS formats. DTS support is returning to TVs, for example with the lg g3 en c3. Watching 4k movies on Blu Ray is just amazing with the Sonos surround set and Dolby Atmos (arc+era300+sub). But many of the best films, like the Christopher Nolan films, use DTS and not dolby. So please, update the system:). 

I'm considering upgrade pair of One's to 100's and Sonos should offer this plastic base separately because rest of stand is the same and I would to use them with new speakers. I know that it’s not in their interest but sometimes be OK worth more. 

I recently added a Sub Gen 3 to my home theater setup. I now have an ARC / 2 Fives as surrounds/ and the Sub Gen 3 as my home theater setup. I need help with the settings, all suggestions are welcome. I will NOT be using Trueplay. 1.) Under Sound / EQ - does +4 or -4 equal more bass?2.) Under Sound / Sub Audio - It appears that this setting is for loudness only, is that correct? 3.) What is the difference between the two settings as mentioned above?4.) Just for fun - If someone ask you to turn up the air conditioner, are they asking you to make it cooler or warmer?Thanks in advance for your help.

I have 2 sonos systems;  one S1 and one S2. I would like to copy playlists etc from one to the other.

I have my weekday alarm set to play Times Radio @ 5am weekday mornings and although the screen is saying that is what is playing, it is actually playing Classic FM ? This has happened 3 times now?
