I have a Sonos Amp, and as part of my home air conditioning a Google tablet which I’d like to use to control the Sonos Amp.If I download the Sonos app, I need to run an update and get an error code 1101.I’ve called Sonos who said as the tablet doesn’t have a microphone, I need to buy a Sonos speaker with a microphone to set up Google Assistant, which means I can then control it via the Sonos speaker or the Google tablet. This sounds ridiculous to me. Is this right?
Hi I've just purchased a symfonisk picture speaker and I would like to play it along with a pair of sonos ones and a mini sub can this be done and how?
Cannot connect my Sonos app to the WD NAS
Over the past month or so, I've encountered several small but frequent issues with Spotify through Sonos. This is primarily but not exclusively when I use the Spotify app (I dislike the Sonos app).Includes things like:-When I start to play a podcast, it automatically jumps to another, completely unrelated podcast (not even the next one in a queue, or anything as sort-of logical as that). This will happen repeatedly. Eventually I can usually brute force it into playing the one I want but I can't identify the fix.-An album (not on shuffle) will simply stop playing at the end of, say, the third song. Or fifth. Or whatever. The completion bar remains near the end of the song and when I hit play, it will replay the song that just finished rather than move to the next.-No sound. A song or album will show as playing through the correct speakers in both Spotify and the Sonos app. Except it's not actually playing (maybe on some secret frequency the dog can hear- I'll ask her).-Sudden shift betw
Hi I have 2 Sonos One SL speakers, A Sonos Sub and a Sonos Play Bar set up as a 5.1 surround sound system. I have the two Sonos One SL speakers set up as rear surrounds. In general it's pretty good. But what is driving me a little nuts is that there is a definite bias on the right rear speaker (it's too loud and the left rear speaker is too quiet). What I need to be able to do is to manually adjust the balance, but for the life of me I can't find anywhere in the app, either on my phone, or on my laptop I can do this? I borrowed a neighbours iPhone to do the initial set up with TruePlay. But although the system definitely sounds better after doing this, I still need to be able to make some small manual adjustments, as I doubt TruPlay will be able to get this 100% right. I've repeated the process a few times and each time I get the same results. It seems a fundamental requirement to be able to allow customers the ability to fine tune their own EQ settings. If I disable TruePlay, the syst
I understand the first play5 is Sonos S1 compatible only. My question is how do you compare its sound quality (speaker power) to some of the newer speakers. Is it equal to a Sonos Era 100? Sonos Move? Sonos beam Gen 1? I’m assuming it sounds better than the play 1 & play 3 but not as good as the newer Sonos 5. Curious on what people's thoughts are. Considering getting one or two for my work office space and using it there away from my home. Thanks!
Hi everyone,I've bought a new Sonos Arc and have some stains in the lateral grilles. I've changed it and the new one has the same problem.I've seen other people in the same situation.Could this oil stains affect internally or is only an aesthetic problem?
For a year or so, I’ve had no problems asking Alexa to play ‘My Soundtrack’ or anything else. I could look at my phone and using the Android App skip etc, now I can only pause, and I can’t see the track. If I start the music from the Sonos App - all works as expected - but - that kind of removes the point of using Alexa in the first place. I’ve tried removing/readding the skill, doing all the usual unplugging etc Anything else I can/should try?
Hey, I upgraded to ios17 beta last night and now cannot do trueplay. I borrowed my wife’s phone which has iOS 15.just a heads up
I am absolutely shocked after spending £1500 on SONOS home cinema speakers to find that unless you own an Apple Iphone or Ipad you cannot calibrate the system using their Trueplay. After reaching out to Sonos and being told “Borrow one from a friend” are you being serious? How about you make your product calibrate without needing a £600 Apple Product?Because I am an Android user, as well as all my friends, my system is technically restricted on its performance. I would love to know the legality of this. Restricting a products performance dependant on what 3rd party companies technology you own?Maybe SONOS can send a rep to my house, so I can borrow their APPLE device to calibrate Trueplay, to make their product work as intended. Shocking business practice. 😤
Una vez configurado ya se puede enlazar con cualquier telefono por bluetooth?
I have an Arc + sub + 2 ones right now but am moving into a room where visually a sound bar would not be ideal. There are windows or doors on almost every wall. I’m planning to have a projector screen drop down when needed, which will cover a window, but otherwise would like to avoid seeing any hardware at all. So I’m wondering if I could do everything with in ceiling speakers. Can I do two Amps, 1 for the front pair to function instead of my Arc and a second rear pair as surrounds? And how terrible will this sound to me since I am currently used to the Arc?
I’ve expanded my Sonos system with a Roam SL, and when at home on the wifi, that all works well. When on a remote, fairly frequently visited, location I was hoping to make use of:Roam SL Iphone S2 with playlists and servicesbasically I was hoping to BT pair the Roam SL with my phone on which I have S2, and from S2 control the Roam SL, and play my family’s all playlists stored on Sonos/S2. But so far S2 looks empty/inaccessible as of content. Am I dreaming up this possibility, or am I just not setting it up correctly?
Bonjour,Avez-vous trouvé une solution pour connecter un videoprojecteur à une ARC ?J’envisage d’acheter un videoprojecteur connecté qui fonctionne sous Android, auriez vous une idée ? Merci d’avance pour vos réponses.Olivier.
If the Sonos (S2) app is reading Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 (or7.1) am I, in fact, receiving an Atmos signal? Or should the app be reading “Atmos”?
BonjourJ'ai 3 sonos era100Je veux diffuser en bluetooth sur les 3 mais je ne peux pas grouper les 3.Comment faire ? Merci

Hello! I moved into a new house that has passive speakers already installed: front left/right, back left/right. I’m trying to determine how I could use them with my existing Beam. From my research it seems like my options might beBuy a Sonos Amp for passive speakers and set up passive speakers as surround for Beam (I think only 2 passive speakers can be used because Beam is already a 2.1 device?) Buy a receiver and Sonos Port for passive speakers (I’m not sure if this would allow for surround sound with Beam?) Don’t use passive speakers and just use Beam. Thanks for any advice!
I am considering buying a few Move speakers to use both indoors and outdoors depending on how I am entertaining. The idea is to put one Move for background music in each of the kitchen, dining room, and study. Then, if I want to entertain in the backyard, I’ll place all three Moves outdoors. (I have a large backyard, so three Moves will not be overkill.) I do not plan on creating stereo pairs inside or out. My backyard has strong WiFi coverage. Will I run into any issues (e.g. audio syncing) if the Moves are not assigned to the same room when using together outside within the same area? I know I can group rooms to make controlling them easier. I am asking about audio quality. I expect it will be fine, but wanted to check.
Hello! Since the total outage of Radioplayer a few days ago, Radioplayer service on Sonos app is still not working (at least for me), even if the service seems to be up and operating normally.I resetted the app, removed and reinstalled Radioplayer service but seems not to be helpful. Can anyone tell me if there are still problems? Other services works fine!ThanksAndrea
Hi, does anyone know if I can use the Sonos Amp Gen 1 to listed to my vinyl turntable (not sonos) to my new Sonos One speakers?Thank you
I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the S2 app, rebooting my MacBook Pro and the router and NOTHING WORKS!! I keep getting the same error message that sonos quit unexpectedly. Sonos has been working with occasional crashes but now, I can’t even open the app. Please help!
