I need help. I bought 3 new Era 100 speakers for an office we just bought and can not get them to pair on either band of wifi. I’ve tried the delete app, reset speaker and all sorts of combos and nothing works.When I brought them home and tried to add them to my home system, they paired immediately and needed to do an update. I had read this could be a thing and then could work so we then took it back to the office, reset it, but it still failed to set up. Why is this not work? I have other devices like Wyze on the wifi no problem.

I have a problem with a single Sonos One (I have 10 sonos speakers in total)Issue experienced One of a paired of Sonos One speakers suddenly stopped working I factory reset it wirelessly and wired It gets as far as being seen in the App but then fails and says “The connection to your Sonos One was lost. Make sure Sonos One is powered on”  The speaker is fully powered on during the whole process A second error says “Your Sonos One couldn't be set up. Unplug the power cord, plug it back in, and try again.” powered off and on - then nothing happens and the speaker is not seen in App I have also reset the Sonos App - still not worked.Anyone see this before - any ideasThanks

This has been going on for a while now. I can only find one speaker out of 8 on the app. I’ve tried resetting every speak several times. A couple of weeks ago after resetting my router and the speakers several time I finally got my speakers to show up. But that only lasted a couple of days. It’s always the same speaker that ends up being the only one. I have about 4k in speakers that isn’t even a year old. Please help me. 

Before I throw my 2 Play 1 speakers out of the window!  We changed from SKY to BT WIFI several months ago and have had intermittent issues with connection.Sitting in the garden on Sunday, we decided we would like some music - so I opened the SONOS 2  app  and struggled to connect but and was then advised that the app needed updating - which I did (Android) and my husband did on his iPhone. The result was a series of abject failures to connect - with different stages of the process failing. I have tried on my phone, my husbands, the family Kindle and the Windows app on the laptop - all failing at some point.We have reset the speakers - several timesDeleted and reinstalled the app - several timesThe BT hub is dual band and SONOS uses 2.4G - is this an issue? I can disable 5G temporarily but that messes up other things with the TV.On my husband’s phone, after reinstalling, an update is requested but requiring the account holder to sign in - but

Can Sonos voice control Bluetooth. Every time I play a song using Alexa then if I want to watch tv I have to reconnect my speakers to the tv all over again. Any solution to this or am I missing something?

After years of flawless performance, my SONOS system is presently unusable. Some member of Mensa decided to do some “updates”. Not impressed, regardless of “CEO” announcements. SONOS no longer recognizes half my products, wont play more than one song. This system is about to go into a garage sale or garbage minus my MOVE and ROAM that will at least still play over bluetooth. 

I have several sonos devices for different rooms and throughout the day the volume levels are not steady in the different rooms. The volume adjusts itself on its own without me opening the app to change the volume levels. 

New modem, new router- want. Same old network?

Why are my volume controls no longer syncing? why do my Sonos randomly turn on and off at random times of the day and night….scared the bejeezus out of us  what is going on? 

I am considering a pair of Era 100s for a kitchen in my AirBNB. They will be in a high location and won’t be easily accessible, but would be permanently plugged in to power. Two questions: a) when plugged in to power, will they still go to sleep?, and b) what will wake them? When they get a music signal from the Sonos app, will they wake? What about a new user pairing on Bluetooth? Is this going to be a problem, because I would need to physically press the button on each unit to wake them? Any advice on their behavior would be appreciated.  

When streaming from the same service (doesn’t matter which) individual speakers will occasionally go very quiet (but not completely) on a system that has been working for almost a year without problems. There is no external interference from any source. 

Hi all,Over the last couple of days my system is having issues and I would like to have some feedback on how to fix this. I noticed that two of my play1s didn't play sound when I am watching tv. I have them connected with the playbar. When I tried just listening to music, only 1 play1 and the playbar played music. Then I noticed the following:Within the Sonos app for some reason one of my play 1 (I own 3) vanished from the app. I went through the usual steps of unplugging the power, eventually factory resetting, but now in the app I cannot even add it to my system. There is a repeat that it cannot find my play1 and I need to plug it in. I can assure you it is connected to the electricity and even connected via ether cable to the router. The light is flashing green meaning it is ready to set up. No matter what I do, the app keeps saying that it is disconnected and I need to make sure it is turned on. My play 1 is next to the router, connected via ether cab

Just switched new era 100 on and tapped app. Chose speaker or component which goes straight to a license agreement. When I tap accept nothing happens and it won’t move on. Would love to know what I’m doing wrong. Cheers 

Sonos roam does not share music it's playing to other sonos speakers that are on same wifi. The app allows sharing to other speakers but it does not work. 

That is it, that is all. Should have spent it on BOSE!!!!!

sonos shut regularly since new update a few months ago

I am experiencing problems with a large part of my Sonos system since yesterday. The issue is that both the Sonos Beam Gen 2 with Sub and the Sonos Ray have stopped working. They disappeared from the system, meaning they went offline, and are not responding. I have tried to add them back, factory reset them, and delete the entire Sonos system before adding them again. When I re-add them, Ray came online again but disappeared after a few hours. The only speaker that is still online is Era 100, which works as normal. All the products are about half a year old. I can also add that they have a good signal strength from the router, so that shouldn't be the problem. I have also tried connecting the Beam with an Ethernet cable, but that didn't work either. Has anyone experienced the same, and what is the solution?

The new app is sluggish, screens are slow to update and it is kludgy with music site interaction. And the interface is not user friendly.  I really hope this is being fixed! This has been a very disappointing downgrade! 

I can no longer control the volume on one of my speakers. It plays at the same lower volume no matter what the slide control shows on the app. The other speaker’s volume is fine. 

Anyone else having this issue with the new Sonos App?  I have Sonos Playlists from different services, Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Slacker and they used to all play at the same volume level.  Yesterday, I was playing music for a pool party and the volume was way loud with some songs and other way quiet.  First time I’ve had this issue but it was extremely annoying.  Guest were displeased, and neighbors likely offended.  Had to keep modifying the volume every two or three songs.  Kinda made Sonos unusable.  Two questionsanyone else having this issue? Did the old S2 app have a Volume Normalization?  (think I remember that but don’t have access to S2 anymore).

Upgraded my Sonos system from Play 1 and Play 3 thinking that newer models would work with the app since they haven’t worked AT ALL since May no matter how many times I attempted to add them back into the system. Boy was I wrong!!!!!! I receive the error message that no products are attached to my network. So I need to add new my speakers back into my internet system. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. And once the speakers are added back into the system, they don’t show up in the app. I can tell a speaker to play something by using “Hey Sonos” and it will play but it does not respond to Alexa or Siri. And still does not show up in the system.None of the speakers show up on the app, so of course I can’t group them. I’ve just about had it with this app and am about 1 day from sending this crap back for a refund.  

Today I added a Sub Mini to a pair of ERA100s and am surprised by how lackluster this speaker is. Our bedroom is quite small—about 10’x11’—and being familiar with subwoofers, I expected to hear some major bass. The Sub Mini is kind of in a corner and when I brought it out a couple of feet, didn’t hear a difference. I tried different kinds of music, including some electronic dub music that’s heavy on the bass. I also made sure one of the open areas of the speaker was facing forward.Even more surprising, when I made adjustments using the Sonos app on my iPhone, I could hear no difference at all. I turned the Sub Mini up as far as it would go, no difference. I tried to switch the phase from 0 to 180, and this button doesn’t work at all. And then when I removed the Sub Mini from the system while it was playing music, I closed my eyes and waited to hear a difference. But I could discern none. So what is going on? Hi,I’m considering purchasing the Sonos 5. My current problem is I own 4 IKEA/Sonos symfonisk speakers which are great however they seem to suffer from network connectivity issues from time to time. My question is whether or not adding a Sonos 5 would fix this problem as it has perhaps more dedicated hardware to address the sonos net issues.I have a very modern Unifi Dream Router and a dedicated network just for Sonos but it still requires being restarted every few weeks or reseting sonos speakers which is a bit annoying. It even seems to occasionally affect 2 of the speakers which are directly connected by ethernet.Is there any evidence to support my theory that adding a Sonos Five would fix this? Thanks

Played as normal and experiensed that my living room setup didn’t get full sound, stopped all other rooms and now I don’t get access ?
