So is it just Sonos or is it the combination that sucks? Any body else with this combo? Sometimes Sonos works fine, for a while, then nothing works….. I try to reset something, here or something there, after restarting all Sonos products and restarting the network, then sometimes it starts working, for a while, then speakers start to drop out, drop out of the system….. I read sort of the same description from other users so…. But the question is , is everything the app or is it something with my mesh WiFi, I have looked deep into the configuration but can’t se anything fishy, am I missing something?
Hi, I currently have the Piano Disk IQ system with Apple Airport express which communicates to the Piano disk app to play the Piano. The IQ has to low level outputs that go to a powered soundbar subwoofer combo that sucks. My goal is to be able to connect this to the Sonos system. I currently have a full Arc system in the same room for the TV.
Hi,My wife recently bought a gen2 from johnpye auction house without testing it first. The unit arrived with the white led flashing. I tried resetting but it never goes to the orange light. I connected it to the router through ethernet overnight without success. The unit was bought at 260£ but at the moment I have a large paper weight that I cant make it work. Any suggestion to how to fix it ?
Every time I get rude help . And 3600 hundred bucks in speakers and I spend half the time giving up or jumping through hoops to make it work . Very frustrating. Hey Sonos you let me down big time and you SUCK!!!!!
Recently bought a Lp&No1 Bluetooth capable turntable and two ERA 100’s. Both the turntable and the Sonos speakers work individually, but I cannot get them to pair over Bluetooth. The procedure in the LP Manual is:Turn on the turntablePlace the speaker in pairing modeSwitch the turntable to Bluetooth modeThe blue light will flash, then turn solid when paired, it never turns solid and the two devices are right next to each other. Now, I can get this turntable to connect via bluetooth to my phone, no issues, but that’s because I have an interface I can press ‘accept’ on - I don’t have that on the turntable - so, they just sit there and stare at each other.I’m pretty annoyed if the answer is “sorry” like I highly suspect it is.
I have a beam connected with One SLs in the lounge and the surrounds regularly stop producing sound and require updating, which fails every time. Unless I plug it directly into the router. producing error 30 or some similar variation. In another room I have a beam connected to 2x play:1’s they never need updating and work perfectly. Never disconnect. All on the same network. what can I do to stop this happening, it’s getting very annoying. thanks
How can I confirm a wired network connection on the Sonos Arc Ultra? It keeps switching back to Wi-Fi without confirming the wired connection.
If I connect a cd player via line in to my era 300 pair can I stream it to my era 100 in another room?
Is bluetooth an option for Play 1?
For the past few years, I’ve been playing a 3 hour long White Noise track from Spotify on my Sonos One, as well as my son’s Sonos One. I select the track and then click repeat to make sure it continues through the entire night. We’ve never had issues using it this way in the past.Recently, and for reasons unknown, my Sonos Ones in both rooms will randomly start playing Jazz music around 5:00 AM / 6:00 AM. I check both Queues and the only tracks in each one are the White Noise track mentioned above, which is also set to repeat until I turn it off.All software and apps are up to date. I have no idea what’s causing this. There are no alarms set either. Completely random and waking me and my kids up early than necessary everyday.Any one else experiencing this issue or just me?Just had a 30 minute call with Support and after walking me through all of their suggestions, they too admitted they have no clue what’s causing this to happen.Tech, can you please take a look and fix this bug asap?
Hi, I Just bought a Sonos Era product and I thought it would be possible to use it to play music in one room while the same music was playing in amother room via the pair of speakers I always used connected to the central router via an Airport Express. But when I activate one on Apple Music or on the Sonos App, the other gets disconnected. Is there a solution to play music simultaneously in two rooms with a Sonos and a non-Sonos device?Thank you.
Can you play the Roam 2 and the Move 2 at the same time?
I am attempting to connect my ageing Marantz CD player to Sonos Era 100 to play CDs in a simple 2 piece set up. I already have the Sonos Line In adaptor and now need the connecting cable from my 2 RCA outputs on the CD player to the 3.5mm plug on the Line In adaptor. Can anyone confirm I am buying the right cable, such as this ?RCA Aux Cable 3.5mm Jack to 2 RCA Audio Cable Y Splitter Adapter, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/387804970731?_skw=2+rca+cable+3.5&itmmeta=01JH40RP6E0Z9KSH47H8X66CGV&hash=item5a4afa3eeb:g:ZIUAAOSw1Zdnfmqt&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKlmjjhkatjIry%2FAMkTfezcZXefczrb4xXMzc4rF%2F4BpSasnSva1vYUuyfe0HwqJSEpxuKP%2BzOJzwLASroVqbi3TpdAIRLMRFLiCj4T2vRToJr2RyRofRf6XRWUA94CGxWwawJARTlOp%2FnhYhb6DW016W%2FXeDbYHE7tDC%2F1ua5FHtH34aALkzfL7i%2FeqVVyuwweFpW49LzSHK84qF4bKW97pnIWMnMDRbZJNsgSEt2WhSbdSs6vi2SRYOHTxU16I1qwyYgHBnug8fNaj%2BNha1LsQ8ZQ3USqDSoOasoI%2BaJ0Bjg%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR6zj4oCJZQOr this ?SOOMFON RCA to 3.5mm Audio Cable Aux 3.5mm to 2RCA Audio
I recently bought a Victrola Hi Res Onyx turntable (note: NOT the Stream version), and planned to play records on my Sonos speaker setup using the Bluetooth connection.I have an Era 100, which supports Bluetooth, whereas the rest of my speakers are older generation and do not. I’m able to pair the turntable with the Era 100. Should I then be able to group/daisy-chain the Era 100 with my other speakers so I can listen to my vinyls across my entire system? When I try this the Sonos app shows the speakers are grouped but no sound is coming out of the older generation speakers.Any advice gratefully received.
Hello, I have a project that includes an sound system from Sonos. In this project, I have Sonance speakers and amplifiers, as well as a WiFi network streamer from Sonos (Sonos Port). I connected the speakers to the amplifiers, linked the streamer to the amplifiers, and set up the system using the mobile app.My issue now is that when I move away from the location of the streamers in the rack room, the system disappears from the Sonos app, even though the entire villa is covered by internet and WiFi. When I set up the system on the mobile app, I selected the same local network for the internet. I would appreciate any help to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
How do I connect 2 Sonos Roam 2 speakers to play together.
Hi, I’m looking at getting stereo pair of Era 300s for music and to connect to my turntable. I currently listen in my room setup of arc, sub gen 3, and Sonos 1 surrounds. If I add another ‘room’ for the stereo Era 300s will it sound weird competing with the Arc and sub for Atmos music as all speaker would be in the same room?
After a successful reunion of my play 3 with an experts guidance I was hoping to reunite my second play 3 ….can I reboot this unit on my own ?…..it was previously synched to a different router & server .
Out of nowhere today the stereo pair of Era 100’s I had stopped working. I removed the stereo pair to reset them. But whilst I could hard reset one of them as expected, the other Era 100 will not reset. When inserting the power cable whilst holding the bluetooth button it will flash white for around a minute and then go to solid red. I have looked around the forums and can’t seem to find what a solid red light means.Have tried restarting phone, uninstalling and reinstalling S2 app, restarting home network.
The MacOs Sonos app does not connect to the Play:1. The best result is that the app will take a long time to connect then once it does the program plays for about 15 seconds, stops; this repeats for about 3 times then stops playing. When I try to play a program a waiting to connect message appears then disappears. A connection is never established..I am using a MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.3
I have a new two speaker system, an era300 in living room and move2 in kitchen. They were working together well until I moved the portable to another room (where it worked well) but the move stopped making music even though it still appears in the sonos app as a unit (playing the same tune in both rooms). I reset the portable and it came back to play. The Era300 played for a minute and then IT stopped sounding. Huh?
Any ex My tuner users managed to find reasonably priced alterntaives to Sonos that use airable services?it’s apparent that airable will work around the copyright issues Sonos has faced with my tuner and others so we can no longer access international radio stations in the UK?
I always play my music through my Windows computer using iTunes or Apple Music, I have a very extensive library. Last week my Era 100’s stopped playing when using Airplay. Airplay works on my Roam still, and the Era 100’s work with other connections, just not Airplay. I tried Airplay through my iPhone, and same issue. Anybody have a solution to this?
I want to purchase 2 pairs of in ceiling speakers ( 4 speakers total) and also 2 outdoor speakers, I want to see will one Sonos Amp suffice for this if i want them all to play the same thing and not divide up my space?
