Hi All,The SUB in my Arc+LS+RS+Sub setup says it’s connected but I am no longer getting any sound out of it despite restarting the router and Sonos system several times, as suggested in a similar post. You can see from the screenshots it is connected; you can see the status of Atmos sound hitting the Arc; you can even see that I have turned the sub volume up to max! Nothing! I have the volume limiter set to 50% but not sure why that would affected the sub. Please help!
My Sonos Playbar has a virus. The router I use is picking up fedapush spam traffic coming from that device. (See attachment.)I have tried to do a factory reset (holding play/pause/mute) while connecting the cable. This reset the settings for the device’s connection to the network, but did not stop the spam. How can I do a full reset of my device? Or is there another way to remove this virus?
Have four ports. Three ports suddenly indicate disconnected, and one port indicates connected. Sound only comes from the port which says connected. I have not physically touched any of the four ports.
I bought some ONE SL speakers ymw would like to connect it to the laptop and I can't and I bought the cables and still I have been able to, I don't know if I have to download some program or if the wrong cable, and use my laptop and use the speakers, someone can help me, I would appreciate it.
Hi. I have a beam, two speakers and a sub. Whenever I watch a TV programme or You Tube there is a popping noise coming from the speakers. It doesn’t happen when watching in Dolby. Any ideas how to fix this issue?
Hi all. My Sonos app is telling me I am unable to connect to my system but sound is coming out my beam and Sonos one surrounds. Do I need to go through the “fix it? I have not reset or touched my router lately? Thanks.
I just got a new Mesh wi-fi system and my Sonos APPS stopped working (speakers work just fine with voice commands). My laptop and phone tells me that these devices are on a different network than the hardware. Odd, as there’s only one network. The on-screen prompt fixes are no help at all. It just gets to a point where it fails and gives me no recourse. What else can I try?I have four Sonos ones and a bridge. TP-Link - Deco AX4300 Pro Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Wi-Fi System (3-Pack) - White. The devices play music and take commands just fine.
My total system consist of a Five in a bedroom, an Arc sound bar and sub in the living room, a One SL in the kitchen, and a One SL in the office. Both the One SLs will not stay connected. It’s not a signal strength issue because I’ve tried moving the One SLs to the same room as the main router and they still don’t resolve. This is very frustrating to say the least. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance! 🍻
My Sonos App is asking me to add a SONOS One SL but I don’t own that product. Anyone have an explaination?
Is it possible to play a sonos one at the same time as an Arc? Or do I need another speaker to act as a pair?
I moved to a new house and after many painful repetitive attempts I was able to connect my play bar, play3 , Roam , and sonos one speakers. However , if i attempt to group any of the speakers the system drops connections to the speakers. I then have to uninstall app, unplug speakers, reboot router, and go through the same process again to get speakers connected. if i play them individually there is no problem. it just fries when i try to have two speakers grouped together. I would appreciate any suggestions. And by the way, I hate Sonos.
I just got the new Sonos update today and just like every other time - what should be a simple 3 minute download - has become a nightmare of rebooting and re adding every speaker in the house. With each update my speakers will error out on the update download and disappear off of my system. I never had issues like this with my previous Bose system. It is starting to become a bit maddening at the rate that updates are sent out. People suggest not updating but shouldn’t an update just work without causing havoc each time with your system? The constant Sonos response of rebooting and re adding everything isn’t a solution to the root of the problem. For reference I have the home theater set up with beam gen 2, sub mini and two one sl speakers, sonos move and then other Sonos one SL speakers in other rooms. Any suggestions other than reboot and don’t download updates would be helpful.
I am about to throw my sonos one devices out the window. If i connect a device using Ethernet it appears in the app, as soon as i remove the cable it disappears. It can detect all my devices but will not connect them, saying it cannot see my wifi network. I cant even see anywhere on the app to change the network or passwords. HELP, its driving me crazy
Hi,I always used my sonos one with Google assistant installed and it was working all fine. Today I accidentally removed the sonos one from the Google home app. When I went to reconfigure everything in the sonos app side, I noticed I no longer have the Google assistant option from the voice services. Now I only have “sonos voice control”. I tried finding online a reason why, but I can’t seem to find a solution. I also tried factory reset the sonos device, and still I only see the sonos voice control option. Am I the only one?
Been having this problem a few weeks now. Whenever listening to music the living room zone drops out intermittently. Does it for 10-15 seconds and then will hop back for 10-30 min before doing it again. ive got a very large system and have had Sonos for probably a decade. I’m also not very technical so getting into router stuff is a challenge for me. I have a diagnostic here. 304281759 I have a boost that I’ve been using forever. It’s right by the play bar that keeps dropping. Should I try to kill the boost and plug Ethernet into the Soundbar as a start?
Hello there,When my Sonos Play5 Gen2 starts booting up, the main LED keeps flashing white forever and never connects to the Internet router. I try connecting directly through Ethernet and there is no difference.I also tried a long press to the rear button but I can’t get it to do any network reset or reset at all. My Play5 just keeps the LED flashing as long as there is power and nothing else happens, even if I keep the power on for hours. From the SONOS App, I can not get to see the Play5, so Im totally blocked here.I power cycled the unit like 10 times and still the same issue. I would appreciate any help in what to do or test or report here to get my Play5 working again. NOTE: I have a SONOS BEAM and ROAM in the same network and they work perfectly and I can control them with the SONOS App. Thanks in advance!Rub
On your computer or smartphone, launch the Sonos app.Choose the Sonos speakers you are using as your new PC speakers by going to Settings, Room Settings. To have your Sonos speakers start playing immediately when the Line-In finds a signal, select "Autoplay Room."
Hey all, can Sonos Play:1 and Sonos Amp be used toghether? Thanks a lot!
I have 2 Sonos One SLs which I have owned for approximately 12 months or more. I have recently moved them to my desk and have paired them in stereo. One speaker is always lower in volume than the other, which I can tell as the stereo image (on song I know intimately where the voice should be dead centre) always favours one side. This needs a channel balance adjustment of about +7 in the app to correct. I am certain it is a problem with one of the speakers as I’ve swapped the them left to right and the balance issue also switches from left to right. I have reset both speakers and set them up again and the problem persists. It is present whether streaming using the Sonos App or via airplay. While I can correct with a balance adjustment I’d prefer to not have to. Do I have a faulty speaker, or is there a setting (related to volume limits) that has someone gotten baked into one of the speakers that has survived a factory reset.
at 500 pm everyday sonos turns on without any input from anyone
I have a CD Deck+DAC feeding into a Connect:Amp (Gen 2) line In.I have two Sonos ONE (Gen 1) speakers I can successfully use as a stereo pair when streaming.I would like to play the Connect:Amp Line In Stereo to the ONE stereo pair.I have successfully got the Line In playing to A SINGLE Sonos ONE speaker but I can find no way of getting the Line In stereo to play through both Sonos ONE’s as a stereo pair. If I wasn’t bald already I would be tearing my hair out in frustration. As it is I am feeling stupid because I just cannpt believe what I want to do is not possible - I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help with an appropriate Idiot’s Guide for me?FWIW I am trying to set up the system using the Android S2 app. I have a direct ehthernet link to the Connect:Amp and the two Sonos ONEs are connected via my Wi-Fi. All components’ firmware is fully updated. I have factory reset and setup the SONOS system from scratch but to no avail.I don’t want to use a multi-room setup. If possib
Hey there, I’ve been using Sonos systems at my place for over 4 years now and love their music playback quality. But it’s riddled with constant random music drop outs that can totally spoil music listening sessions. Currently, a paired (IKEA bookshelf) Sonos Speaker set in the kitchen are malfunctioning and not even showing on the list of available speakers. I managed to get them to play the music by pressing/holding the play button on the speakers. While I have a feeling this will be ignored by the support staff or anyone that can do anything at Sonos’ end, I thought to still put it here. But thought to put it here. Please note that I had actually more Sonos speakers at my place and recently returned my Arc as it failed to produce a workable center channel/dialogue while watching media. I had to constantly play with the volume, bass, night mode and speech enhancement and it never really worked. Reverting back to an older Vizio 5.1 soundbar felt and worked so much better and I’ve give
I have been battling this issue now for almost a year. I have 2 routers. The primary router is where the internet comes into my house. From there, I have an Ethernet cable that runs approximately 125 feet into my garage and connects to another router (R6900v2). I have problems with my Sonos speakers dropping connection in my garage. In my opinion they are trying to grab the signal from the primary router in the house. I have contacted Sonos, my ISP, and Netgear. No one seems to help. Sonos says put the garage router in Bridge mode. I have tried, but am not tech savvy enough to trouble shoot. When I’m bridge mode, I can not access internet. The last time I asked the Netgear community, I was told to run in access point mode. I have asked a few different techs at NETGEAR. They confirm to put router in access point. This does not work either. My speakers play for about 20-30 minutes and then drop. My ISP is no help at all. Can someone please help?!?!?
