I have a sonos play 5 gen 1.  It connects to wifi great and works but has a loud humming sound.  It is too old and i won’t be able to trade it in.  is there any advice on what to replace? could it be a grounding issue?  would it be the capacitors?  if so which should i try to replace?  I would rather try and salvage it since it does work well otherwise.

It really depends on the source of the humming.

Why do you say you wouldn’t be able to ‘trade it in? Has the device already been used for a ‘trade in’ credit?
