Hi, I need to de-register my play 1 from the app, as they are linked to another account… long story, but I thinks its the only way to register again, tried the factory reset etc.. not working at all.. I can see the play1 on the app as NOT Registered.
Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I own an Era 300 and the speaker itself is amazing but I've run into an issue with using the Sonos app and Bluetooth at the same time. Basically I'm using another app called Homey which allows me to automate songs/sounds from the Sonos App and sync them with my smart lights. The purpose of this is for D&D to play sound effects for dramatic effect. The feature by itself works perfectly fine. However, I have my phone connected via Bluetooth to play background music on a dynamic music app for D&D which also works fine by itself. The issue I'm running into is that when I use Homey to play a sound, it cuts out the Bluetooth music to play the sound and then doesn't go back to the Bluetooth source afterwards. What I'm looking for is a solution that ideally allows both sources to play at the same time so that the Sonos app doesn't block out the Bluetooth music. Or at least allows the Bluetooth music to play back via the speaker once the Sonos app
Hi - does anyone here know where I may be able to get some proper help for my Sub? <modelURL>http://www.sonos.com/products/zoneplayers/Sub</modelURL><softwareVersion>77.4-49290</softwareVersion><swGen>2</swGen><hardwareVersion>1.8.6.6-2.2</hardwareVersion>I have been around in circles with online documents, Sonos support@ email addy has been decommissioned, tried the bot and it has taken me in endless circles and the numbers for Singapore and Malaysia don't work.Seriously Sonos, you need to get your act together with proper help! So now a last attempt to see if anyone here can help me.Recently the sub did an auto update, then it would not connect on wireless any longer, having unplugged all, reset router, checked absolute detail of router config and requirements, reconnected. At reconnecting on wireless it says it is connected but when finishing up an error connecting to your network keeps appearing. So I eventually unplugged it, draggi
Hello Sonos People!I have 5 Sonos products at home (4 speakers & 1 sub, which I love). Whenever my WiFi Eero has an update, I lose connections to all my Sonos speakers. The TV works fine, but I can't connect to them through the app.I have to restart my router or unplug my 4 speakers & 1 sub. Is there a better way to not lose my speakers after a WiFi update?Thank you,Gorby
Since lates update (16.0) two of my speakers is suddenly not available in Sonos app (from time to time). An ERA 100 and Roam. The other ERA 100 and beam+sub is ok. Workaround is to start the speakers that are visible in app, and pair physically. It has happened a few times since lates update
My sub mini runs with 2x one SL’s. Problem is every day, sometimes 3 times a day, it asks me if I want to add it to a trusted network. It is the same network everything else Sonos related is on. This is driving me mad. Any ideas?
So I have a stereo pair of Era 300s used for music listening. I have them on the either side of my TV facing the couch. Recently I found out that my TV can send stereo signal via Bluetooth to the speakers, which works flawlessly and sounds pretty decent after the initial pairing. However, during subsequent watching, there are cut-outs intermittently . I’ve gone through the support route but all I got was the generic recommendation to disconnect and reconnect the pairing, which also does not always resolve the problem from my experience. And frankly, I just don’t want to do it every time I want to watch TV.Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and found a fix? Thanks in advance!
I recently got a Pro-ject debut carbon Sonos edition and i am trying to connect it to Era 300. i followed all the instructions, connected the RCA cable to the Pro-ject provided RCA-Aux adapter and then to the AUX to USB-C adapter provided by Sonos. I can hear the music but the volume is very low and there is a constant static, its a humming sound. The volume of the static noise increases when I increase the volume. I redid the RCA connections, havent connected the ground to anything as instructed. Is there something i can do to fix or could this just be a fault in-built pre-amp?
Hopefully this forum can help improve the uselessness of my Sonos products. I have an Era 100 (recent) and Sonos Play (had a couple of years), and constantly annoyed at the app trying to load and find my system. Then go through the hassle of it finding my system as well as a neighbours. Once selecting my system and it’s working, Alexa and hey Sonos don’t work. Occasionally Alexa does, but mostly not. All I get is Sonos is having trouble connecting to your music provider. Oddly, the Sonos one Alexa works reasonably well, but sometimes plays something completely different to what you asked her to. I have the S2 app it didn’t notice any difference is ease of operation. Not impressed by the sound quality either, hoped the Era 100 would be better but apparently not. Any help troubleshooting would be welcome.
I have 5 Sonos play 1 speakers, each installed for a different room in the house using the Sonos app. Initially, I connected each speaker to the modem with a cable and after introducing all the speakers, ensuring their functionality and sound playback, and assigning them to their respective rooms, I switched them to Wi-Fi mode and connected them to the network. Each of them works correctly. However, the issue is that I can't see all of them simultaneously in the Sonos app. When all the speakers are connected to power, only one of them is active in the app, and I can use it. If I unplug it, another speaker designated for a different room becomes active, but the rest remain inactive. I suspect the problem lies in the way I set them up because I had only one network cable. As a result, I installed each of them separately in the app and couldn't figure out if all of them are active when connected with the cable or not. However, I know that each of them works when connected with either the
Hello everyone,as you can read in this topic two of my 4 Sonos Play 1 are defective. Even at low volume, the woofers start to pop. I was about to start unscrewing and replacing them, then I read here that they will probably be replaced. Is this still the case? Thank you very much.
Hi there, Can ceiling speakers be used as main speakers as well as surround speakers? I’ve got a new extension and I’m hoping to get an arc, sub, amp and 4 x ceiling speakers.2 of the ceiling speakers I’d use pas surrojnd but the other 2 I’d like at the back of the extension and to use as additional sound to what’s coming from the arc. Is this possible or can they only be used as surround speakers?
Was previously using two Sonos Ones with a Gen 1 Sonos 5 happily in a system using the S1 app.Purchased a Roam and was told I needed to use S2 app which I then installed. Somehow the two Ones were also added to the S2 app and are now showing as Incompatible on S1 meaning I cannot use them there with my Gen 1 Sonos 5.How can I now remove the two Sonos Ones from S2 to use them back on S1 - there seems to be no option to do so.Why is this so complicated? I hate the way Sonos have deliberately chosen not to support Gen 1 products on S2 in a bid to get everyone to upgrade.
Hi guys, I would just like to know how/if I can pair Move 2. I am planning to get one and add it to my existing setup (Era300 +Sub gen3). I would like to use it with my existing setup when at home but still take it with me when I go around with my camper van. What options do I have? Can I set it as a stereo pair?
In my home office, I have a zone with two Play 3 and a Sub. What happens every now and then is that the left speaker goes silent for a while, and then comes back some 15-20 seconds later, and then a minute later or so there is another dropout. Once this has started to happening, it keeps on going this way.I have tried to unplug all three players in the zone and plug them back in, but I am not sure that helps. But unplugging all players that I have (one zone with two Sonos Five, one zone with two Play One SL, one zone with two Play1 and finally a Port) and plugging all back removes the problem for a while but then it comes back after some weeks. Possibly the periods it works are getting shorter. This time it started to appear after one week since I plugged in all players.I have note noticed dropouts in other zones, but this zone is also the one where I most often play music.Anyone recognise the problem? Could it be that the Play3 is getting old and tired and it’s time for a replacement?
How I can connect sonos one gen2 to a starlink wifi network without the adaptor??
Picked up a pair of Sonos branded wall mounts, for my Era 100 speakers. The locking base / ball joint mechanism will not hold. After base is in locked position, the speaker drops down. This is happening with both mounts. Pretty disappointed, should of went with the cheaper Sanus one.
Hi There, Please assist me with this as I’m contacting you on behalf of my Client Angaston Medical Centre who uses SONOS One SL and there was a recent power outage which affected the Sonos setup where by both the speakers were disconnected form the SONOS windows App. I have tried to connect this with multiple attempts but unsuccessful every time to get both the speakers working.I can See both the speakers are showing when scanning the wifi but only one connect and also not the SONOS were reset by the practice manager when she had tried connecting this. Please provide guidance in order to be able to connect bot the speakers and play music in sync.
Are there any speakers stands for Sonos five that aren’t ugly like the Sami’s, Flexson and Mountson ones?
hi - had setup in new house with Archer VR1600v, smaller area / single storey, line of sight for S5 and S1, tv bar ‘around corner’ (~5 m away!)all products up to date.intermittent audio playback dropouts on radio or Spotify, and often mobile app ‘cannot connect’ when updating volume or pause / play. no microwave or other bluetooth/wifi products ‘running[‘ diagnosis 1870521460 hoping someone at sonos can confirm issues being experienced?
I just completed moving two Sonos Ones to a new network and just need to formally log that it was a total pain. I had to go through multiple prompts over and over only to be told cannot connect, try again. After an hour of turning them off and on, plugging Ethernet in adding the new network forgetting the old network etc they finally show up on the app. This was such an annoying process considering I was using a $20 Bluetooth speaker while all this was going down… @Sonos, this is a recurring complaint…please fix it….couldn’t imagine how difficult this would have been if I wasn’t a remotely technical person…0 out of 5 stars
Hi! I have a speaker at work logged into work email and uses bosses accounts. Now I have one at home and I can’t log out of the other email and use mine. It tells me to use the work email. I want to be able to log into my personal account and use my personal streaming services and record player at home. Any advice on what I’m doing wrong?
The app no longer finds my playbase and I’m therefore unable to complete a reset which means the playbase is now non-functional. I’ve followed the instructions on the app and reset my router with no effect. The playbase is connected to the TV via a fibre optic cable and the TV is hard wired to the router. Any ideas?
I love my Sonos setup (Arc, One SLs and Sub gen3) for my home cinema. Recently, I started listening to music again. Most of my playlists are from the 90s and early 2000s. I soon realized that my Sonos 5.1.2 setup isn’t right for music, something wasn’t there which wasn’t giving me that nostalgic feeling. I missed my 1000W Sony Hifi system. I did some experimenting to understand what’s wrong with my Sonos setup and I came to a conclusion that music to me sounds best in Stereo Mode and Sonos setup lacks that stereo separation and clarity. So, whenever I listen to music I do the following: I go in my Sonos app>system>surround sound and turn the music playback to “full” and set the music level to max (+15). This puts my Sonos One SLs in a Stereo pair like mode. I also turn off the sub so that the woofer of One SL become active and I get a stereo bass. It works great for music listening when I want to sit and listen to relaxing tracks. The issue is that a pair of One SL seem under po
After some advice: having the kitchen/dinning room extended and want to put in 4 sonace ceiling speakers. Only usury is half of the ceiling in flat the other half is pitched (approx 20degrees).so where’s the best place to install them as two will end up on the flat ceiling two the pitched. I’ve attached rough plan of the layout: black is the boundary, blue the kitchen and the yellow line is the the split between the flat and sloped roof. I’ve tried to work out what’s the best positions but there’s a lot of conflicting advice. FYI this will be for music only
