Sonos Sub Mini assembly defect.

Hello I recently purchased a Sonos Sub Mini. To my surprise I discovered an assembly defect. I still have a Beam 2 and two one SLs so I'm used to the quality of Sonos.

Please tell me if this "defect" can affect the subwoofer in the future. Dust can get in, the hearing quality can decrease, warranty problems, etc.
I tried to press on the swelling, but it returns in the same position.
The seller offered me a 10% discount, but I don't know if it's worth it because it looks worse than a resealed one.

If this was bought new I would return it.

I’d return it for a replacement and inspect the replacement offered before leaving the store.

If you really want the 10% you could likely patch the gap using black silicon sealer, like the white stuff used around sinks and bathtubs. But that might impact any later warranty claims. At a minimum I’d ask for more than that 10% offer die to the risk.
