Speakers

I have 2 Sonos One speakers (not Era 100) configured as surrounds for my Sonos Arc. They are mounted high on the wall, one above the full-height window and one (across the room) at the corner of the hallway and kitchen.As speakers, they are excellent. But when no music is playing, the one next to the window/wall sometimes makes a "pop" sound. It doesn't happen often, but maybe once or twice an hour. The other one never does this.My hypothesis is that the window shade next to the one that pops, has a big battery in it and that might build up some kind of inductive change, which the Sonos One discharged and it makes a popping sound. Is this possible? The observation is true my explanation may not be.

I am unable to listen to a podcast uninterrupted by sonos dropping out--- for minutes at a time!Device is next to my modem.I have unpluggef / rebooted a gazillion times.What happened?  This device is crap.

Hai my Sonos One SL is no sound, it conncet to sonos app. I already reset any times but still no sound, anyone have the same problem before?

My Ikea/Sonos Symfonisk keeps disappearing from my sonos app every day. Any Help?I have to manually unplug it and plug back on daily to sync with the rest of my Sonos system.  I have updated everything, reboot everything even re-connect and recalibrate the entire system via Ethernet cable and only works for 1 day, and the following day it all disappear all over again.Additionally it drops from the sync multiple times during the day, Any idea to remedy this issue? 

Play5 gen1 will not connect to wifi.All fixes attempted.Plays without issue when connected to router by ethernet cable .Cuts out when connected to wifi extender by ethernet cable.

Why is my speaker saying sorry that device is offline 

It was connecting seamlessly to my projector, then it suddenly stopped playing sound. Now it doesn't play sound from my iPhone or iPads. Very disappointing. I was going to buy a Sonos Soundbar, but this experience has really put me off the brand. 

Hi, hoping someone can shed some light on an issue I’m having.If I start music in a zone which either contains Sonos One or a Roam and then try to group another zone which contains a playbar, the music will restart form the beginning and play on the original zone but not on the playbar, even though it shows as grouped and playing in the app.If I instead start the music on the playbar and then add the other zone (One or Roams), sometimes it plays on the Roams, sometimes it doesn’t, but again it shows as grouped and playing in the app. What is also interesting in this scenarios that if I press the play/pause on the Roam the music on the playbar stops.I’ve tried rebooting router several times. I’ve also tried wired and wireless on the playbar, but overall it just doesn’t want to play with other zones.Any thoughts on how to debug this, or is this a known issue with the older playbar and the (somewhat) newer Ones/Roams. I’m heavily invested in the Sonos ecosys

I have a Sonos Ray connected to my tv.  When I switch from music with Sonos to the tv, I cannot control the sound with the tv controller.  I would like to remove the Ray from my Sonos system.  How to do that?

Hi everyone, I recently tried using my Sonos setup (Beam + two One SLs) as the main audio output while gaming on my console. The sound quality is great, but I’m noticing a slight delay between the on-screen action and the audio, especially in fast-paced games.I’m currently connected via HDMI ARC, and I’ve checked basic settings, but the lag is still noticeable. Is this a common limitation when using Sonos for gaming, or are there specific settings that can help reduce the delay? Would really appreciate any advice or setup tips.

I just got a new router from Orange; a Livebox7. I have configured a 2.4GHz band. But failed to connect 3 One SL speakers. I can see the speakers in my router connected to the WiFi, but the Sonos app does not see the speakers and I Conan not finalize the set up.  Sonos customer care was not able to help, after endless resets, etc. Is there someone who can explain how to change the settings on my router to make this work?

Hi. Just bought the line in adaptor from Sonos and connected to my audio technica AT-LP3XBT. Sound playing straightaway but the sound is dropping in and out from the right speaker (the one not connected with line in).    Stereo pair set up and plays fine with Bluetooth from turntable.   Any idea what could be causing this please ?  thanks

Just left CenturyLink for Spectrum. This fixed the business related issues I was having with upload speed and video conferencing but wrecked my Sonos system’s functionality. I’ve had a perfectly working system supporting 10 different Sonos products throughout my house on CenturyLink for years, bragged about how amazing Sonos was, etc., but now, it’s all just a memory. About half of my Sonos products are constantly dropped from the app, nothing is reliable to the point I have just given up. That effortless quality is gone. I’ve talked with Spectrum support, tried their recommendations but to no avail. From research, seems like a mesh router, in particular eero 6+, may be the answer. Has anyone else had a similar experience and this was the fix?

Hi, I have a Sonos system that consists of IKEA Symfonisk lamp speakers (x5), Sonos One (x2), Play:3 (x2), and a Sub.I kept my system on version 16.1 (April 2024) until recently, about two months ago. During that time, I didn’t have any issues — everything was working flawlessly. At the end of January, I acquired two Sonos Roam 2 speakers, and in order to use them, I had to upgrade the system to the latest version. I also enabled auto-updates so that my system stays up to date. I use the Android app and the Sonos desktop app on Mac. For at least two weeks now (maybe even longer — I didn’t pay close attention at first), I’ve been experiencing major issues when playing music on the IKEA lamp speakers. Most of the time, I use a local music library hosted on my Synology NAS (same setup as in the past couple of years). I recently purchased and have been using a SONOS ERA100, and I have discovered a reproducible issue. I am not sure whether this problem is specific to my device, so I would like to inquire.Product:SONOS ERA100Issue:When using AirPlay from an iPhone running iOS 26.4.1 with the default Music app, if I add a song to the queue using “Play Next,” the next track starts from about 30 seconds into the song.This issue occurs consistently when “Play Next” is used while the currently playing track has about one minute remaining.For tracks that start midway, the playback position becomes inconsistent with what is shown on the iPhone screen. In other words, the screen appears as if the track is playing from the beginning.The same issue occurs on another iPhone in my household running iOS 26.4.1. However, an older iPod running iOS 15 plays without any problems.

Hi everyone,My Sonos Beam (Gen 2) suddenly stopped working while I was listening to music through the Sonos app. Since then:• The Sonos app no longer shows any installed devices or system setup• The Beam displays no LED indicators whatsoever — not even a faint light on power-up• I have tried plugging it into a different power outlet• I have tried a different power cable• I have attempted a factory reset, but the unit shows no response at allThe speaker appears to be completely unresponsive, as if it has no power — yet the outlets and cables I tested are working fine with other devices.Has anyone experienced this before? I just bought 6 era 100sl.I'm getting crazy to connect them . They disappeared or never end the actualization . I'm using an open WiFi from the hotel .We want to use it combining music in differents areas . Can anybody help me please ? Thanks 

I have two SONOS devices. I’ve sold one of them. How can I transfer the sold SONOS device from my account to the buyer? I saw the option in the mobile app, but I’m worried it might transfer all my devices. Can you help me?

Factory reset instructions say to unplug the power cord and hold a certain button down while plugging it back in.Can we not just turn the speaker or whatever off at the wall socket and turn it back on while holding the button instead of actually unplugging the power cord. Wouldn't that do the exact same thing and be so much easier i mean if we can then why dont Sonos just say to turn the speaker off at the wall then turn it back on while holding the button down? seems extremely overkill to me to tell us to pull the power cable out. Some peoples cables are hard to get to.Out of curiosity i did actually test it and it seemed to work fine but i dunno just seems like they really overcomplicated the reset procedure and I cant think of a reason why they would do that. Which leads me to think unplugging the cable is actually important and my reset may not of actually wiped everything    

I have bought 2 x Era 100s to connect to my Beam1 to use not as surround sounds but as additional speakers. The Era play but I can not get the Beam tomplay as the group or injunction with the Eras? nothing Support AI suggests works?

Now you can only enable or disable status light for the speaker that played the right/left sound when doing the stereo setup.If you want to turn both steps light on or off you have to disable the stereo pair.Set each speaker status light on or off and then do the stereo pairing again. Still you can only control the speaker played the right/left sound.
