I need to start completely over and wipe my current system. The instructions online offer steps, but those steps don’t align with what I see in my app. Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to do this. I’ve spent thousands of dollars and countless hours trying to get this product to work, and I’m so very frustrated. I need this systems to work given the resources I’ve put into it, so I need to start over and rebuild and hope that is the solution to ultimately making my system work.

Hello people,Thought I’d chime in with my recent experience after buying a second-hand Play:5 (Gen 1).For context, I’m running a full S2 system: Living Room: Arc Ultra, Sub (Gen 3), and 2x Era 100s Bedroom: Era 300 Dining Room: IKEA SYMFONISK Picture Frame + Connect S2 (vinyl player) I thought adding an extra speaker would give the dining room a bit more depth. Since I already own a Connect S2, getting the Play:5 Gen 1 via line-out seemed like the perfect budget option. What I didn’t know about was the infamous 75ms line-in delay.Fast forward to me being driven absolutely crazy by the echo while trying to group the IKEA speaker with my Connect (Play 5 Gen 1 line-in). During my troubleshooting, I came across this post:TL;DR: There is supposedly no delay once the Play:5 is taken completely offline (disabling the Wi-Fi in the app and unplugging the ethernet cable once activated).I tried this workaround, and I can report that it does work, but only to an extent.The delay is still prese
Hi Sonos Gurus,I control my Sonos from my iPhone connected to SSID “17” mapped to VLAN 1 (Native Network).I have approximately 15 Sonos speakers incl. Play-1, One, Beam, Arc, Era.Some are wired to VLAN 6. Some are connected over Wifi SSID “Sonos-17” mapped to VLAN 6. I suspect some are still on SonosNet because they are old and SonosNet is on channel 11.For some reason, since this morning, I cannot access my Sonos setup using my iPhone connected to SSID “17”. Not too long ago, we switched from an Eero mesh network to Araknis access points to extend WiFi coverage throughout our home while we had AT&T. We’ve since switched to Spectrum, removed the Araknis system, and gone back to using our Eero mesh network. We currently have the Spectrum router/modem connected to our Eero system, similar to how we previously had AT&T set up. We also had third-party technicians install amps for our outdoor Sonos system as well as the Araknis system, but the Araknis ended up making our WiFi worse, so we removed the Araknis and AT&t and set up the Eero system again with a Spectrum router and modem. Now the issue is that our Sonos system seems to be detecting two separate WiFi networks. The router’s WiFi (connected via Ethernet) is working with our two amps, but the other Sonos devices inside the house keep switching to the extender network. Hi All,Looking for help about my issue about firmware update.I have several Play:1 and Play:5. 2 days ago, I moved a pair of 5s in another room. This is where the problem occured. Right after plugging in, one for the speakers in a pair asked for an update and disconnected from the pair. I tried updating, but the update always get an error 30. Here are the things I tried and used different devices in doing it just to isolate my phone or tablet. 1. Connected via ethernet - error 302. Wifi - error 303. Reboot my router and disabled all fw - error 304. Reset to factory the play:5 while using ethernet cable - error 305. Fresh Installed the play 5 in a new S1 environment system as a new room while directly connected to my router - error 306. Sonos and Sonos 1 system integration
I have 2 Sonos One speakers (not Era 100) configured as surrounds for my Sonos Arc. They are mounted high on the wall, one above the full-height window and one (across the room) at the corner of the hallway and kitchen.As speakers, they are excellent. But when no music is playing, the one next to the window/wall sometimes makes a "pop" sound. It doesn't happen often, but maybe once or twice an hour. The other one never does this.My hypothesis is that the window shade next to the one that pops, has a big battery in it and that might build up some kind of inductive change, which the Sonos One discharged and it makes a popping sound.
