How do you power on the sub? Just plug it in?

Hi @Jrm959

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Yes - a Sonos Sub just needs a power connection. Once it’s plugged into mains power, it should start flashing a white light. The light will stop flashing and change to a solid white light if the unit has been set up, or to a flashing green light if it has not.

If you have a new Sub unit that does not show a flashing white light immediately after plugging it into power, please try another power socket to be sure there isn’t a problem with the first. If that does not help, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who will send you a new power cable in the first instance and replace the Sub in the second (if the new power cable does not help).

I hope this helps.

Also confirm the power cord is fully seated in the Sub, give it a firm push.
