I have a surround set up using Arc and two 300’s as rears. One of them makes this plinking noise when I'm not using and the noise seems random (not every 30 seconds or minute). Any ideas?

Era 300 emits random electronic plink/tink sounds while idle with no audio playing.

Wait for the noise, within about 10 minutes, faster is better, submit a diagnostic and note the number. Maybe do this for a few instances so Sonos can compare them. Once submitted call support and get a human to look at them.
+19How Random? Do you have any Voice Control active on the offending speakers? I only use Sonos Voice Control, but I do have Amazon Echo speakers that make a plinking noise when there is a notification. Of course that does not happen very often.
