I have 4 sonos 1 speakers spanning 3 generations:  1x Play:11x Sonos one,2x Sonos one SL I have routine connectivity issues, with speakers dropping intermittently and from time to time an inability to connect to 1 or more speakers.  I will sometimes be able to stream direct from Apple Music to one of the speakers but at the same time the speaker will not show up in the Sonos app.   I recently upgraded my network router to a mesh router in order to try and stabilize my connection and improve security. this seems to have had no impact. Any help you can provide would be great.

I have a Sonos 5 which works fine with my turntable. As the turntable is in a large room, I also bought two Sonos 0ne sl speakers to group with the Sonos 5. Although the Ones work by themselves and show up on the app, when I try to group them with the Sonos 5, I get the message that the product can’t be found. I’ve reset them several times to factory default but always get the same message.Appreciate any help. 

My Sonos ARC is connected to a Sony TV with a HDMI cable with ARC.  It is also configured as an Alexa.Sometimes I want the TV to be showing something, but the audio to be separate from the show. Right now it seems to “partially” work.  If I start playing from an Echo (with the Sonos set as the default Alexa speaker) the TV audio is silenced, but the Alexa audio is unheard.  Turning off the Alexa Audio (stop) does not restore the TV audio till I change something on the TV side, and even then, it seems to come back with the Volume at zero. It would be great if I could explicitly state that audio on the Alexa side takes preference in all cases.

I can add a song to a playlist, including a song playing on, for example: pandora to my playlist.But I can’t add the station I set up on Pandora to my play list.this seems like an obvious use case, WHY didn’t you provide that functionality?

I have a large kitchen/diner. I have 2x stereo pairs of Ones- called Kitchen 1 & Kitchen 2 in Sonos.Clearly I now have 4 Alexa’s in the same room but, due to the pairing, the 4 appear as just two Alexa devices in the Alexa app until you click on each ‘Alexa device’ and it has two speakers inside it, both of which can be configured.What I want: a permanent grouping of Kitchen 1 and Kitchen 2 so that whatever I do, they play together, ie. all 4 speakers play (as 2 stereo pairs) all the time under the command of the Sonos app and Alexa.What I get: an infuriating mix of, group them in Sonos, everything works fine… until at a random time when someone says “Alexa play...” it decides to break up the group and play from only one pair until I regroup them in the Sonos app. This is driving my nuts.I have tried what I think is *everything*… but I live in hope that the magic combo is out there somewhere.I have created a room called “Kitchen” in Alexa grouping the two Sonos pairs, Kitchen 1 and

Hi, I just purchased an Amp and I would love to use a remote with it to control volume from afar when my phone isn’t around.I’ve seen several topics about this on here but several folks are suggesting a $100 universal remote which I find very expensive given that all I want to do is control the volume + up and - down. That’s it. I won’t be using the Amp to control a TV setup, just streaming and vinyl. Does anyone have any relatively inexpensive IR remotes that are compatible with the Amp? 

I’ve got a Beam paired to a Sub, and two Ones in separate rooms. The Sub and one of the Ones are plugged into Ethernet. The other One is connected to SonosNet, but the Beam refuses to get off wifi even after a reboot. I have also tried deleting the wifi network in the app, and the Beam then loses all connectivity.I suppose it doesn’t really impact performance, but it’s kind of annoying and I’d like to understand why. Hello to everybody with more knowledge about linking things to Sonos systems than I have!I’ve recently acquired a vinyl turntable, the Pro-Ject RPM 1.3 Genie and I want to know how to get it to play over my Sonos system.I have an Arc and an old Play 1, and I’m likely to be picking up a Sonos Sub soonWhat would I need to get it up and running, either via Sonos kit (Amp/Connect) or third-party/Pro-Ject accessories, and what bit connects into what, i.e Turntable>Amp>Arc or something?Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks

I’m trying to connect my new Roam to an existing system, using the Sonos app on my phone.The app is able to identify the product, which has a green blinking light.I’ve had several different outcomes, but never a connection.“Your mobile device is unable to set up your product. Use a different mobile device and try again.”→  I’ve used three different devices (2 iphones, 1 Android) no result.“Your mobile device couldn’t connect to your Sonos Roam. Move your mobile device closer and make sure the Sonos Roam is powered on.”​​​​​​​​​​​​​​→ No result.On one occasion the app offered an alternative method connecting over a ‘temporary network’ with the Roam making a sound which the phone was able to pick up. This seemed promising for a while, but ultimately failed.Yes, it’s fully powered.Wireless is from a 5Ghz fibre, always pretty good, and never had problems with my exisitng system of two Sonos 1s.My Sonos 2 app is up to date on all devices.Any thoughts?Thanks!

Diagnostic 1206622187My previously well-behaved Sonos system has been coming up with the “network connection speed insufficient to maintain playback buffer” message every few minutes and nothing I do seems to help.The system consists of 6 speakers (two stereo pairs and two singles), and I am using a Tenda MW3 Mesh system with the speakers connected by ethernet to the Tenda’s nodes where possible. Other speakers are connected wirelessly. I have a Sonos Boost in the system to help the wireless along.The Sonos system is set to channel 1 with the Tenda Mesh fixed on channel 6 and my Wyze camera system on channel 11, so they should all be well separated. I am playing FLAC files (so fairly large) supplied from a Cocktail Audio device acting as a hard drive.All worked well until a week ago, and I’m not aware anything has changed in the setup. I’ve disconnected my 2 Google hubs (no effect) disconnected other potential sources of interference (baby monitor - no effect).I have a fairly large hou

when adding pandora to sonos system. Now the first prompt you see after selecting activate is a new step to put in an activation code. There is no information on where this code is located. This is new. I’m a dealer in Tampa Fl and have done 100’s of systems and have never seen this. Anyone else running into this? 

I’m having the Arc, sub and 2 sonos surround speakers installed to go with a new LG OLED C1 model. I’ve read many reports of audio dropouts with this setup and older models TVs. Has this problem been resolved? Thanks 

It would seem that quite frequently most of the CBC Music On Air stations disappear, the CBC Radio One stations seem to be unaffected. Specifically I frequently listen to On Air Pacific and use it for my wake up alarm. While I know that I can access this station via TuneIn, there’s two problems with that. Typically when you start a stream from a TuneIn station, they play that loud “Tune IN!” clip at the start akin to Netflix’s launch noise, this is not exactly how I want to be woken up but would prefer a soft fade in of whatever CBC is broadcasting. Secondly, I’ve noticed that when I use the TuneIn stream, not long after we start listening, it will start to suffer from audio drops every 30 seconds or so which makes for a terrible listening experience.If I browse to CBC’s website, the streams missing from Sonos are available so I can’t help but wonder if the Sonos app has a timeout set wherein the music service’s list of offerings loads and this timeout is simply too low or CBC’s respon

Hi,I use my beam sometimes to airplay from my iPad or iPhone to listen to podcasts etc. Whenever I receive a message or calendar reminder the playback pauses and I lose connection to airplay. I then have to reconnect to Airplay and if I get another message it happens again.It’s really frustrating! I have looked around but can’t seem to find a solution. The only way I can stop it is if I put my phone on airplane mode. Do not disturb doesn’t stop it. But this assent ideal as I cant receive any messages.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks Kim

I have a number of Sonos amps and want to use my music library for an alarm. This should be an easy task for engineers to implement. I do not want to create music lists as I takes too much time when I can simply select a genre, album or an artist from my already existing music library.I also don't understand why Sonos closes out requests such as this when the community would like to add comments at their will.To me, this is just a nuisance and reason to move to another product.

I have an LG C1 OLED and everything works with the magic remote, and the Roku remote works when I am settings of the LG, however during normal use the Roku remote will not consistently change volume (it does seem to randomly work every 1 in 20 attempts)Help!?

The Sirius connection has been unstable the past two days. Stream kept dropping intermittently throughout the day yesterday. Today it is continuous. Sometimes it comes back on its own.  But most of the time it has to be started. Multiple error messages result.“Unable to play Real Jazz it is encoded using an unsupported digital rights management system””Unable to play the song is not encoded correctly”“Unable to play the connection to SiriusXM Canada was lost”Connection has always been reliable.  Diagnostic #362697717 

I had this issue pop up a few weeks ago and it was resolved.  This is now happening again.Sonos is asking for an activation code that I cannot get.

Hi.I am just curious why the Sonos app updates so frequently?The app seems to update 2 or 3 times a week!Everything is working okay now after the latest update but prior to that the sound (whether coming directly from the TV or from streaming music via the Amazon Music app) kept sporadically going mute and I had to fiddle around to get it working again.I am currently on Sonos OS S2, Version 14.4 and Build 67127100Anyone else had this problem and by the way it's no fault with my fibre optic internet connection or WiFi !Cheers 🍻 

Can you tell me which one it is and how it compares with Sonos one Sonos move and Sonos roam?

Today I started testing Amazon Music HD, and I see the HD tag when playing music on Beam, I know that Sonos announced that the Play:1 does not support HD, but I know that for example, they work with Dolby Atmos when connected to an Arc. Does the same thing happen when they are connected to Beam?  That is, if I group the Play:1 with the Beam, will the Play:1 play music in HD?

why did Sonos S2 v14.3 drop support for my Connect:Amp? it was happily working with all my other devices until this release. the C:A is hardware version 1.17.3.1-1.1 and has S2 v14.4. It still works in S2 v14.2 on my iPad but not v14.3 on my iPhonei see there is S2 v14.4 on the itunes app store, will it restore support?

Hello everyone, Is it possible to replace the simple HDMI Cable beam gen 2 by a 2.1 HDMI or E-Arc HDMI to get better sound experience ? Thank you

I am trying to add my Sonos Beam to an existing (or new) Alexa group, but it does not seem possible.I'm following these steps:On Alexa, go to devices Select the Group Tap Edit Select the Sonos Beam Tap "Save"When I go back to that group, the Beam does not appear under group devices. If I try the above steps again, the Beam does not appear selected (part of the group). This is only a minor inconvenience as it prevents me from using commands such as "Alexa, turn on lights". Instead, I need to be more specific such as "Alexa, turn on living room lights". However, it seems like a bug with the Sonos/Alexa integration and I wanted to bring this up. Are others experiencing the same issue?
