Hey Gang! I have a SONOS Arc system currently as my main TV Audio set up:  The ARC is connected via eARC from my 2021 LG G2 77” panel.  For the rear surrounds I have two SONOS Five’s, and a Sub to round out the “Atmos” system.   The two inputs i have for watching content are 1. AppleTV 4K (primary) and 2. a Panasonic DP-UB820 4K disc player (for films I really love and want to have great sound/picture).   I have had no issues with the sound output fro the AppleTV, but with the Panasonic Player, if it’s encoded to 7.1 (using the Arrival - the Amy Adams one - 4K disc as an example), it only outputs to “Stereo PCM.” Looking at the sleeve it’s encoded to 7.1 so I am assuming this might be the issue. The other native audio tracks on the disc are unhelpful since the Dolby 5.1 is ‘descriptive audio’ which I don’t need.  My other discs (Dune, Blade Runner 2049, MCU films) are all out putting correctly.  Wondering if there’s a solve?  Conversely, when i watch Arrival on AppleTV (the version I p

Hi, is there a good way to test each of the speakers in the Sonos Arc? Would be great diagnostic feature to add to the app.  I’ve seen some one say put your head close to each speaker whilst playing, however, wondering if there is any other method.  does Sonos have anything that will put a tone through each speaker at a time? 

Hello. I am looking for a way to switch to Bluetooth mode on the Sonia roam from the app. Since I have put the speaker out of normal reach, I would like to have the ability to put the Roam in Bluetooth connection mode through the app.

I have a Fire TV Cube connected by HDMI to a Sony TV.  I have an ARC output from the TV connected to the Sonos ARC.  I also have Verizon FIOS TV.  Intermittently, the sound from the ARC will stop (go silent), while the video continues on the TV.  What I discovered is that removing the power plug from the Fire TV Cube immediately restores the sound.  Any idea why and how this can be remedied?  Very bizarre.

My sonos one sl arrived with some discoloured marks that don’t wipe off on the speaker grill. I’ll attach pics. Any advice as to what this is and what I can do about it? 

Got a Samsung QA75QN700 and Sonos Arc.  Randomally we either loose audio altogether or it keeps switching on and off.  On the TV u can see that audio automatically switches between Receiver (HDMI-ARC) and Receiver (HDMI-eARC).  When no audio its stuck on Receiver (HDMI-eARC).  Seems to have gotten worse in the last week, setting eARC off then back to auto use to fix the problem.  Been an issue right from the start. No other devices plugged in. TV and Sonos running latest firmware.  Using Sonos suplied hdmi cable.  Power cycled TV and Sonos Arc.  Any ideas on how to fix this. 

Hi there. Just bought a Beam gen 2. I want to add some more Sonos. A friend has 2 play 5 gen 1s I can have. Will they work together?

I have a Beam generation 2. I noticed on some scenes in a tv show, you can hear the background noise much more prominently on my TV speakers via my Sonos. Almost like the Sonos dulled the background noise.  when I say background noise, I mean a scene in an office where you can hear light office sounds like phone ringing etc. or another scene in a locker room where you can hear sneakers squeaking, but the Sonos minimizes it.  I have night mode off and speech enhancement off.  Have also tried with it on.  Any suggestions?

I've had Sonos for a few years now, always a Sonos Beam in my living room and a Sonos One in my bedroom, with Google assistant added. And I've always had the ability to say "Ok Google, play Duo mix on Spotify" and the Sonos that heard me, would play without any issue. But recently, both my living room and bedroom sonos' are insisting I declare which Sonos I want the music to play in. If I don't say "in my bedroom" it won't play and I have to start the voice command over. It's a small detail that is a bit annoying. If I'm 3 feet away from the bedroom sonos', you're obviously the one I want music to play on, the living room sonos didn't hear me or activate to listening mode.Why did this change, and is there a way to change it back?

God I hate my SONOS system, it works maybe 60 percent of the time.  When I have guests it seems to never work.  I have to “reset” the system around 4x a month, which doesn’t seem like a big deal, but 5-10 minutes unplugging cords, waiting 2-3 minutes.  Junk.  I have talked to SONOS on a number of occasions, never a resolution.  NEVER.

I was wondering if there any way to connect a Sirius XM receiver which is in a Sirius home dock to Sonos speakers without use of the internet.  Would a Bluetooth adapter maybe work for this?

At present I have connected the Move to the Apple TV but cannot control the volume.Therefore, I need to connect the Apple TV remote to the Sonos Move.From other users, I understand I need to open the Sonos app, go to settings > system > select unit (Move) and then Remote Control Setup. However, I don’t see “Remote Control Setup” in the menu.Is this a restriction of the Move, or is there another way to connect to the Apple TV remote?

Would really like to expand my Sonos system but thus far no support in Colombia? 

Wish:I plan to get a setup with 2 Sonos Five’s (stereo setup) and 1 Sub (Gen 3) I want to set it up as a single “unit” playing music, never individually on their own I want to be able to play from an old turntable connected to one of the Five speakers (3.5mm) I want to be able to play using Google Cast or AirPlay from apps on phone or browser on MacBooks, without (always) the need to play things via Sonos appQuestions:If I connect a turntable to a single Sonos Five speaker, can I make it also play the music to the other Five speaker and the Sub, without having to manually activate them every time? If I group the speakers together, can I play to that group using Google Cast or AirPlay(2) without the need of the Sonos app (again, without having to manually enable each speaker to sync with the initial speaker)?If it requires these speakers to always be played as one or even requires an additional piece of hardware, I’d be okay with that. Just if it’s possible at all, outside the Sonos app

Hello friend. I just acquired a vmg8825 router and attached my ext hhd with my music files to it. I can see all the files from my Mac and from my iPad, but sonos can not find them.  pathway ought to be 192-168.1.1/ nmt/ usb2_sds2/sonos or any variation of this. no way can I make it work.  Please help!

...is that to be expected…? Boost will connect to my router but not my switch? Also, ethernet light is orange, not green, on the back of the switch when inserting ethernet cable from Boost indicating something is wrong…? Some important settings in the switch maybe…?

The sound is great for the space but the IR range on it sucks so bad that I tried putting in an IR repeater with a blaster on the bottom of my TV, but I guess that the top sensor only works if it is mounted vertically. Any thoughts?

Hi, everyone !  I have Sonos Beam and Sub which is S2 compatible and an old Sonos Connect Amp S1 with in-ceiling speakers . Now it seems like there is no method to use Sonos Connect Amp S1 as a surrounds for Beam S2 ? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, my play 5 gen2, keeps loosing its connection. I can´t reconnect to it without resetting it (power off).I have tryed turning off automatic update, as i thought it might crash/dump the connection somehow.  I use the app, to set it up, but often it cant find the play5, even after “power off”, io have to retry the setup process several times. When reconnected, it keeps up the connection for 1-3 months, then it looses connection again.  It´s placed under the seeling, 2,7m above the floor. Any tips? 

Hi.  I see at times my Sonos S2 and S1 apps losing connections to my speakers my new Mac Mini M1.  Is there a date for when a M1 native app will be released?

I have Sonos Arc with two Sonos Fives as surround speakers that’s connected to TV with my Roku box.  When watching tv, voice volume is not ideal as it’s primarily coming from Arc. I know I can adjust the volume in the app but it’s still not the ideal when watching. I end up pumping the volume up and. It becomes too loud.Is there a way to make the voice from TV come out of the 2 Sonos Fives I have?Also, when I play Spotify or Apple Music from the Sonos app, it sounds amazing (full and robust) as it’s coming primarily for my 2 Sonos Fives. How can I make it sound like that when watching TV (from Roku).Can I connect 2 Sonia Ones to this as well? Will it help?  

I just got a Pro-Ject Phono Box DC preamp to go with my Amp + Pioneer PL-50 setup. Plugged in the Phono Box, dropped the needle, Autoplay worked, and it sounded great. No issues there.Annoyingly, after I stopped the the record, Autoplay didn’t turn off. It’s been 40min and the Amp still hasn’t automatically turned it off. I believe I understand that Autoplay is based on a voltage from the record player/preamp which sends a signal to the Amp, so I guess that signal hasn’t stopped, probably because the Phono Box doesn’t have an on/off switch. Is this just the way it is with a phono preamp that stays ‘on’ all the time? Will I have to get a phono preamp with an on/off switch if I want Autoplay to turn off?TV Autoplay isn’t turned on, by the way. Thanks!

So the idea here is to have the turntable with preamp connected to the Receiver. Then have the Sonos Port connected to the receiver as well. I want to run Zone 2 from the AV Receiver to a set of outdoor speakers. I recently purchased a AudioTechnica Turntable with a preamp. I have this setup currently directly to the turntable to run throughout the house on all the Sonos Speakers. Unfortunately I do not want to run Sonos Outdoors due to constant changing weather conditions. I want to install a set of outdoor wired speakers. This is why the AV Receiver is needed. I think I need to connect the Turntable to an input source? Connect the Port to an output Source? and Connect the speakers to the Channel outputs?  I then should be able to listen to music indoors and outdoors at the same time using and second zone for the hardwired speakers outdoors connected to the Receiver? Sorry this is long winded. Looking for confirmation or a correct method of connecting all this. Thanks in advance.Mark

I have about 100 GB (over 10,000 songs) of music in M4A format in my iTunes library.  I had been using my ipad’s itune library as the source for Sonos when I want to play these older albums many of which are not readily available elsewhere. I do use Pandora and other media service providers, but I want to still be able to play my library. I had no problem doing so until I upgraded to Sonos S2 Ap. Now Apple and Sonos don’t play well together, and I am extremely frustrated. I don’t want a PC up and running and I want to do this to be as simple as possible. I was told to buy Sonos and my techies to get a montly Apple Music Streaming service, which didn’t help me at all. Sonos still can’t see my ripped CDs that are in the Apple music library, only the media service songs.I currently have Connect and Connect:AMPs in my home.I am thinking the best way to meet my needs might be to add a NAS, but I do not have any experience with this. Could someone help me to understand what I need to do to p
