I am about to purchase a new iPhone 13 pro.  At the moment I am using my Sonos app on an iPhone XR.  The app is the latest 2 version and my speaker is the Sonos 1 (2nd generation).  Will Sonos automatically work when I transfer app to new phone or will I have to do anything in settings?  Your help is much appreciated.

Install the app.

Start the app.

Tell it to connect to the existing system.

I noticed you duplicated your question to another topic, which I have closed. Although short, there is nothing inaccurate about @ratty’s reply - that is exactly what you need to do with your new phone to get it to work with Sonos.


I apparently answered on the other topic just as it was being closed. I said essentially exactly what @ratty has said here.
