Hello and Greetings’’ I would like to ask and please suggest Can we connect SONOS SUB to Bang&Olufsen Active Speakers like (Beolab 18 or Beolab 28) or any other 3rd party active speaker, If yes then how and if  no then why we can not connect SONOS SUB to any other 3rd party speaker. Thanks 

Hello, I experienced my hardwired Sonos five audio dropout yesterday.  I have a Sonos boost that is connected to my router and the Sonos five is NOT used for surround sound. What could be the issue?

I cannot seem to get the Arc and the Move to get their WiFi signals from the same network.  The Arc is connected to a Sony Bravia TV via HDMI arc, but does not have an ethernet connection.  In the S2 app, I have a single WiFi network specified.  But the Arc isn’t getting its WiFi signal from my primary router - the Move is.  That difference is problematic when I group the Arc and Move.

i found a Sonos Play:5 discarded on side of road.  Can i upgrade it?

HalloI’m testing a Sonos system composed of : ARC+SUB (3 gen)+ 2 ONE SL as surround (connectede by Arcana to a Tv Plasma Panasonic and as source : Bluray Player and Apple tv 4K).my question is: when I switch off the tv and Apple tv or Blu ray player is not clear to me if I have to switch off all the Sonos components or it remains always in stand-by (for example the Sonos One SL has a white led always on)thanks in advance for your support 

I’ll start by saying I really can’t stand watching or listening to broadcast ads. I don’t listen to commercial radio. I don’t watch commercial television. I happily buy albums through Bandcamp to support artists directly, and to discover new music I pay for a streaming service which is ad free. I also really love some of the Community Radio stations that operate in my home city and want to keep listening to them at home.   A few months ago my Sonos system has started playing ads when I first connect to one of the community radio stations it happens whether I connect via my Google Assistant, or manually select the stations  through the app. I’ve tried to bypass this by “adding radio stations” directly via the direct URL as is recommended in some other comments on the forum, but this doesn’t do anything to stop the ads. Hi, I've got my Sonos Move for about a month, quite happy overall, but there are some features I don't understand, and maybe my system is faulty, but the speakers does not capture certain sounds at all, which means that I'm only listening to 3/4 of the total instrumentation. For example, I was listening to the song "FEEL." by Kendrick Llamar. In the intro there are some heavy bass drum kicks and some warped vocals, however the ambient guitar chords in the background is barely captured at all, which ruins the atmosphere of the song for me. My Phone speakers does this better. I have no idea how to bring forward that sound, and it appears in other songs as well, and I'm guessing it's with similar sounds scapes, where the bass and rythm section is overpowering the more subtle ambient background stuff. I've played around with the already limited EQ system, but I've got to compromise on other sounds, which creates other issues.. Would appreciate any tips! 

Sorry for the naive question - searched for it but didn’t see.  I’m setting up a system with wired rear in-ceiling speakers and plan to connect this to an ARC soundbar (& will have a sub).  Do I need to buy an amp?  For that matter, will the wired rear speakers plug into the ARC? Thanks for any help!

Im building a new house and wanted to build Sonos into it.I currently have a Sony Bravia 4K UR3 TV which is connected to a Beam Gen 2 via eARC.Connected to the Beam are a Sub (gen3) and Two One’s as surround (I also have another 4x One SL’s on their way).I have been through various fora looking for the answer, I have tried with the TV output settings: Audio Output, A/V Sync. eArc, Passthrough etc.Restarted the TV and Beam.My usual Freesat viewing is not affected at all.It’s Discovery Plus and Netflix I have a problem with.. the audio is delayed ?Does anybody have any idea how to get around this problem, it’s sooo annoying to me :(

Keep losing sound from my Arc after loud pop.  Diagnostics ticket 182111920 and 1452917050Please advise 

I have several older Sonos devices which I had been connecting to my router with a Sonos bridge. I replaced the router with a Netgear Orbi Wifi 6 mesh network and connected the bridge to an Ethernet port on the Orbi, but the bridge does not connect to the router. Repowering the bridge or pressing the connect button have no effect. Suggestions anyone?Thanks,Tony

Hello,I live in a 2-floor house (ground level and 1st floor), which has 500 Mb/s internet connection. I use a TP-link Mesh wifi setup to distribute internet: 3x Deco M9plus (one is the main Deco attached to my modem) + 2x Deco M5. All Decos are connected by Ethernet cable to the first Deco router using a switch (star network). I am on S2.In my living room (ground level), there are 1x Connect GEN2 (connected to my HiFi system’s DAC) and 1x Sonos Amp (using 2x Sonos InCeiling speakers) + 1x Sonos Sub GEN2 + 2x One SL’s as surround (previously I had 2x Play 3s working flawlessly). All of these were connected via Ethernet cables except the One SLs (Amp+Connect+Sub are connected via Ethernet cable to the main Deco M0Plus). In this living room, there is also a second Deco M9plus using a ethernet backhaul. In the same level, I have another room where there is a 1x PlayBar (in this room there is also a Deco M5 using also Ethernet cable backhaul) connected via Ethernet cable to the Deco M5.In t

I have two Sonos ones in my bedroom one is a first GEN the other is a second GEN. Prior to using them in my bedroom they were surround speakers in my living room. I have since taken them from that group factory reset them then pair them together in stereo mode. My problem is only one speaker plays when it's in stereo mode. It's not the balance issue because I've already checked that. Sometimes if I airplay through my laptop it'll do stereo mode but most the time it's only one speaker even though they're both paired together. I factory set the speakers a few times now and still the same issue. So I have decided to put them back as surroundsound and move my Sonos play one speakers that were surroundsound's into my bedroom. I also am having the same issue with my Sonos play ones. They are in stereo mode but only one speaker plays a sound even though they are balanced correctly. I have factory reset them as well and that still doesn't fix the issue. What am I missing here?  My Wi-Fi connec

HelloI’ve recently upgraded my Playbar to a Arc. I have 2 Play 1’s as surround speakers and the system has been faultless until I swapped them over.  When I turn my tv on I have to disconnect my surrounds and reconnect them again for them to work.  The only things I’ve changed is the Playbar to Arc and I’ve turned the Arc’s wireless on due to a Ethernet cable breaking and I don’t have a spare.  I have just ordered a few Cat 6 cables due to arrive the weekend but this shouldn’t be happening should It?   

I see posts here on the forums for some years complaining about this issue.Can Sonos simply add support for it so we can move on?(IOW: If hi res files are out there, just Let Us Listen!) I have an album I really like, and I have to break out a bluetooth speaker to listen to it.Seems crazy.  

A new feature on my Ubiquiti Dream Pro router (https://www.ui.com/consoles) shows my Sonos Move using the WiFi 4 standard.  Is it possible to change that so Move uses WiFi 5?

Basically the title says it all. I renewed my subscription and it shows I am subscribed in my account, but I still am hearing the Sonos ads and can't skip songs. I’ve refreshed the app several times, logged out and in, nothing seems to work. Don’t like paying for a service that’s not working. 

I have run a split system for a long time.  This is still noted as a supported configuration on sonos.com here: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4845?language=en_USI just returned from vacation, and while away I used my sonos S2 app on a different wifi network (with some of my s2 devices).When I returned home, the S2 app connected just fine to my S2 devices.HOWEVER… My S1 app wouldn’t connect to any of my S1 devices.  So, I reset it.  The usual process is that it asks me to press “mute+volume up” to identify which system I want to connect to.  However, it doesn’t do that… After resetting, it just ‘finds’ my S2 system without asking me to press any buttons.  Of course, the S1 app isn’t compatible with my S2 system so it just complains and tells me to use the S2 app.  I tried the desktop app and had the same problem -- it finds the S2 system not the s1 system.How do I reconnect to my S1 system??  I have submitted a diagnostic, but it was from my S1 app while connected to the S1 system

I have been a Sonos user for years.My music library has been on the same Synology NAS for all those years.Now, I can add that music library (via //10.0.1.55/music) no longer to my Macbook Pro.I can add it to my iPad and iPhone, though,What to do? 

I was wondering if you could help me with how to Alexa to work properly with a stereo pair of Ones, as it relates to timer commands.I have got a number of Sonos devices in my home. In my kitchen I have a pair of Ones, configured as a Stereo Pair. One of the devices is called ‘Kitchen’ and the other is called ‘Kitchen 2’ The two devices are configured together into a stereo pair that is also called Kitchen.If the devices are NOT configured as a pair then I can use Alexa to set a timer on each of them correctly. I simply say, “Alexa, set a timer for 2 minutes on Kitchen,” and it works. Same with Kitchen 2.However, when I pair the two devices into a pair called Kitchen and issue the same command, I get back an error message from Alexa that says that ‘Kitchen’ is offline. I realize that Alexa is looking for the individual device ‘Kitchen’ and not the group ‘Kitchen’ and that’s probably why things are failing.Interestingly, if I say ‘Alexa, play music in Kitchen,” the command works fine for

Hi all I have just purchased 2 sonos one speakers to go with my sonos beam that I use for my TV. The beam added in the app straight away. When I try to add the sonos ones it just doesn't show when it's searching for devices.  However, I factors reset all 3 devices and discovered that I can add the beam and the speakers won't be discoverable or if I add the speakers then it won't be able to see that there is beam aswell. They are not set as a stereo pair. They are all on the same network.  Can anyone help..pulling my hair out
