Hello, I would like to use my SONOS system on a local network that is completely separate from my regular Wi-Fi network. This is because I won’t have Internet access at the location where I want to use it. My plan is to set up and update the devices somewhere with Internet access first, and then move them to the local network with a separate router (no Internet connection). Devices: SONOS PORT SONOS ONE SL My question is:If I set up a dedicated Wi-Fi network (with no Internet access), will I be able to play audio from the SONOS PORT to the SONOS ONE SL over this local network? Thank you very much for your help! 

This morning I tried to turn on my Sonos ace headphones and the power button does not work at all no response from it so I can't turn them on without plugging it in and then putting them on they work perfectly fine but the power button not working is kinda really not what I expected for 450 Euro's 

Set up my account and now when sending and receiving emails it shows Sonos as the name instead of my name. I need to fix this quickly, Help!

For the last few months I’m completely unable to play anything from Apple Music on an iPhone to ANY Sonos device in my house. Apple will see them, it will show as starting playing - then nothing plays and it stops after a few seconds.As an aside, what was once a great system is now an ‘also ran’ in my mind. So much spent on Sonos with such frustration at this point.Yes, it will play music from the Sonos App.Yes, it will play Apple Music from the Sonos app.No, it cannot create stations like Apple Music does. 

I can’t play music on the YouTube music app via airplay. It works fine when using YouTube music via the Sonos app so I know I know there are no connectivity issues. I would rather play music via the YouTube music app and airplay as the app is way more intuitive and better to use than using YouTube music via the Sonos app. I’ve been having this issue for months now and it’s extremely frustrating. I’ve tried so many different trouble shooting steps from turning the speakers & phone off and on. Checking airplay settings, checking YouTube music settings and checking Sonos app settings and full removal and reset of Sonos devices… please help!! Lol

Ever since the app “redo” a basic function has been missing when playing podcasts via the Sonos app:  the ability to fast forward in 30-second and rewind in 15-second increments.   I’ve read that Sonos thinks this is not necessary because one can ask the Sonos voice assistant to fast forward or rewind.  There are two key reasons why this does not work well: 1) it assumes one has Sonos voice assistant enabled on every speaker and 2) it takes longer than tapping an icon.  I’ve also read that Sonos says we can just drag the timestamp to where we want.  True, but 30-second increments are perfect for skipping ads in podcasts and it’s difficult to be that precise with a slider.

Hi, my amp no longer offers control for my third party sub. It is still sending audio to the sub, I can’t control it via the sonos amp any more. I have rebooted the amp and checked I’m on the latest app. I also rebooted the sub and checked connections.  is this just how it is for third party subs now? 

My Sonos Roam disconnects and reconnects from my wifi network literally every minute. My network is a Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra and U6 Pro AP. When connected, the Unifi console shows the Experience for the Roam as “”Excellent”. Other devices in the same room do not have this problem.Any idea how I can diagnose/fix this?

When launching my Sonos app on my iPhone I get the message that there is no products on my system. However this can’t be right as I have one speaker playing. What’s up?  

I understand that Sonos Roam (and Move) can’t currently be used as surround speakers as to protect the Sonos ecosystem and not cause issues of the speaker was moved away and out of range. BUT - why not program it so that, if it’s connected to the base / charging dock / cradle / power supply, then it is in home theatre mode and setup as a surround. Then if moved and disconnected from the above, it is in roam / stand alone mode and no longer in surround sound setup. Removing one speaker would disengage the counterpart of the surround setup and then temporarily default all channels through the front speaker(s). This means users could have smaller speakers setup for surround sound (which I know appeals to some) to enjoy a movie at night and some tunes out in the garden during the day, for example. It could even go one step further. When on dock and charging it is listed in the app as left rear surround for living room, for example. When disconnected it could become garden roam and hung on

Subject: Disappointed and Frustrated by Loss of S1 FunctionalityI’m writing to express my deep frustration with what appears to be a recent change to the Sonos S1 app. As of this week, I can no longer access or control the vast majority of my Sonos system—nearly 90% of it—due to what seems like a forced redirection from S1 to the S2 app. This effectively renders most of my whole-home audio setup unusable.To give some context: I built my home in 2018 and had a professional A/V team install a full Sonos-based sound system. I invested over $20,000 in ceiling speakers and amps integrated into my A/V rack, allowing music throughout every room and on the back deck. Soon after, Sonos introduced the S2 app, which only worked with my newer devices. I have an arc, sub and speakers. Apple tv 4k, LGTV. Out of the blue, while watching a movie, the arc just started chiming continuously. Turning  it off did not stop it. I had to unplug it. Why? No alarms set on Sonos or voice control, no weather alerts, no.community alerts, no amber alerts, nothing. Just this ridiculous chime.. 

I moved to an area with Dish Fiber and I can connect the Boost to it, but nothing else.The app simply says “connect the product to power” and I do that - the progress bar goes on for a minute and says “ we were unable to connect”This was such a wonderful product but it is headed to the dump if it cannot be fixed.

I plan to use my MOVE 2 in my little camper van to stream content from Pandora, etc on my iPhone . to my Move 2 using bluetooth.Question: Is there any way to adjust bass/treble, etc. when streaming to the Move 2 via bluetooth?Thanks for any help/advice.

I have an older Connect Amp connected to wired speakers in my kitchen. I have an old sound bar in my living room. Getting occasional cutouts in the kitchen when pairing the two for audio. Tried hard wiring the Amp but still experiencing issues. 

Yesterday during a radio broadcast from iHeartRadio the volume dropped to about half without me changing anything on the system. Today the problem persists and is impacting numerous stations on iHeartRadio, TuneIn, and Sonos Radio (I have checked multiple stations from each platform). I can turn the volume up to about double the normal level to get back to actual normal volume but this is inconvenient as then you have to change volume settings when you change source (or put the whole house on blast).  Any help? I have a Sonos Amp in my basement and it powers my Bowes 251 outdoor speakers attached to my Pergola. I would like to add a subwoofer underneath the deck. What is the best seamless option to achieve this?

I have a Sonos amp and have a kef kube sub. They have been working great but today the sub is cutting out after 5 seconds and my amp  is not picking up the sub on my app. I have tried updating the system without any luck. 

My Sonos Move is stuck on white signal and does not respond tu any command. I cannot shut it down, charge it, or move it to Bluetooth mode. When I try to reset it by pushing the power button for 10 sec nothing happens.can you please help me ?

I found this “closed” topic about Sonos group doesn't work for Airplay.Sonos acknowledged that it is a reproducible problem. Yet eight months later, I am still experiencing the exact same problem. I hope that Sonos understands that closing the topic doesn't mean the problem is solved. You actually need to fix your bug.

Can I set up Google assistant on a Roam 2? Or must I use Alexa???

Hey guys,I use a sonos amp with Jensen floor standing speakers, Yamaha 8 inch sub.It pumps but came home the other day and the “sub” tab has gone from the app (iOS) , no longer to adjust crossover etc.Tried all standard troubleshooting.Pls sort asap Sonos!Australia.

I bought a used playbar and Gen 1 sub, got both to flash green, but they won’t show up when I try to find them in with the app. I even plugged an Ethernet cable into the playbar and connected it to the router. Tried rebooting. Just no luck.If I can’t them to work I’m just going to return them.
