Hi everyone. I connected two surround speakers to the Arc Ultra. In the Sonos app, one speaker was added as the left surround and the other as the right surround. However, it’s not possible to set up Trueplay — it says that the speaker cannot be found. At the same time, with the Beam Gen 2, the One speakers connect without any problems and work perfectly.

I have a home theater set up with an Arc, sub, and two 300 surround speakers. Even with voice enhancement on the vocal volume is drowned out by background music/noise.how can I adjust to increase vocal volume in relation to the background music

Nightmare; just spent 3 hours on various efforts to make my S1 app connect to my two long serving CONNECT units. Has been working for years without any problem, but they have now dispappeared from my S1 app. When I try to open the S1 app, it somehow connects to my parallel S2 system, and suggest I upgrade to S2. Have been on a chat with the UK chat and the dutch chat support, but the chat connection dropped 4 times while working through this. There may be a workaround with shutting down my whole S2 system, then resetting the app, disconnecting/reconnecting the CONNECTs, but really? Problem is compounded by the fact that you may reset it for one OS, but I have 4 (W11, W10, Android and Ipad). When the app works on one operating system, trying to connect with another breaks the Sonos-system again. The early adapters into the Sonos universe are not well served here. Is there anyone with a suggestion?

My Era 100 makes beeps when not used - I believe it is when my bluetooth paired laptop is closed and in the house. Playback from the laptop via bluetooth is fine, but when not used the loudspeaker will make those beeps regularly, even it is muted. I don’t understand the point of this feature and you should simply remove it. I complained a few years ago, you promised to put it on your updates list, but nothing happened.

As reported here:apple music recently played not showing on apple music app after using sonos Apple Music updates to Recently Played in the Sonos App remains an unreliable mess.  Has there been any progress on this matter?

Hi All, Does anyone know if you can play Radio 3 Unwind ‘Sleep’ episodes on Gen 1 Sonos? I want to play the sleep section from unwind but the live broadcasts don’t start until 11pm I really need them before that time. I have searched everywhere but can't find an answer. I have BBC Sounds on my Sonos app, but there doesn’t appear to be a ‘catch up’ option.

My Sonos ray when connected to my TVvia optical cable does not appear on the app. When out of cable it works in the app.help?

Hello, I own 7 Symfonisk speakers at my workplace. While streaming Sonos Radio I got no problems, with flawless audio streaming in all of them. But if I try to use any of the other (Amazon Music, TuneIn, and Qobuz tested) some of the speakers stop to play randomly and with no apparent reason. So, I can’t use any of my paid subscriptions.Any suggestion?

Hello,I use to play music in my restaurant with Sonos Radio, but since yesterday the service give me an error everytime I select a Sonos Radio station.I’m not able as well to subscribe to the Sonos Radio HD service by the subscription page.

Tengo un par stereo de sonos play one, si compro un sonos era 100 podrían sonar juntos el par stereo play one y el sonos era 100 mediante Bluetooth? Moderator Edit: Google Translate -  I have a pair of Sonos Play One stereo speakers. If I buy a Sonos ERA 100, could the Play One stereo speakers and the Sonos ERA 100 play together via Bluetooth?

Wondering if Sonos ever improved their Android app?  I haven’t been forced to do any updates but honestly haven’t used my system much since the app destroyed my listening experience.  Sonos was not responsive to my concerns.  The old app worked perfectly.

I thought I’d replace a Play:3 with an Era 300 as the app has behaved itself for a while and eventually added the alphabetic selection back to a local library… I should have known better. At all stages of the process it’s been a shambles. I had two 30% credits on my account from old gear and buying a single 300 used both… I then get a survey request asking me how I liked my 300 before it had even shipped, so I’m sure you can imagine the responses that got. The Era 300 arrived today and wow, how absolutely unfriendly can you make the simple task of replacing a speaker with a new one? There’s still no way to remove a speaker from your setup. The best suggestion is to factory reset it… so did that with the Play:3, but the Sonos app now reports the old speaker as missing… brilliant. Add the Era 300, the app detects it, but bombards you with popups saying hey I’ve found a speaker and then more popups to stop the popups… I just want to use the app to check stuff before I add the speaker. Do

I use sonos for playing old cds from music library. It now seems that it has duplicated albums and juggled the order of tracks around.Very frustrating as playing cds was the main reason to buy sonos.I can't face dealing with support again as it wastes loads of time. Any ideas how to rectify the duplicate album issue? ( they're OK on the laptop , so it's not the source material).  I have updated the app ( samsung A54) and the laptop plus tried to update the music library to no effect. This is subsequent to the phone app crashing a couple of days ago with message it's due to a bug.  Retry when developer resolves bug.  Also some songs have gone missing from sonos but are in the source directories  Has anyone any suggestions as to how resolve this?

Hello - I have an Arc Ultra in the basement with ceiling mounted rear speakers that are wired to an Amp one floor above. The ceiling speakers work great for music when not bonded to the Amp, and when I bond the Speakers/Amp to the Arc Ultra they will work as rear surrounds temporarily. Eventually they will disconnect and the Amp will lose connection to the Arc Ultra. I understand the problem is likely that the Arc Ultra is probably too far from the Amp; moving the Amp closer to the Arc Ultra is not possible due to wiring issues however. My question: is there any way to strengthen the connection between the Arc Ultra and the Amp without physically moving them closer together? Both the Amp and Arc Ultra are connected via WiFi. There is no hard-wiring in the system to the router. Thanks!

My right surround (Play S1) randomly plays birdsong. It usually happens in the morning when I do not have the TV on but occasionally happens while I'm watching TV and have the front sound playing through my beam.

System has 15 devices and all running latest Sonos software.  Been a long time user (10+ years) and been through a lot of bumps over the years.  Right now running Mac OSX Tahoe 26.2 on a M4 Mac.  Both iPad and iPhones work flawlessly all the time, but the Mac about every 2-3 weeks cannot find my system.  I am so tired of the usual restart everything ( router, computer, speakers, amps, etc) that I want to trash the whole system.  If I'm sitting at my office and using only my computer I can rarely control the system.  Why the simplicity of the iOS and the lack of OSX reliability.   Haven’t changed a thing in the house, running fiber at 1GB same as always, with good coverage everywhere.  I refuse to run all over and disconnect and reconnect for 2-3 weeks of use, someone explain why one works and the other doesn’t.   All I hear is that must be a network issue, but if iPads running only on WiFi work why not the Mac?

Hello! Not sure if it's Mac OS related or Sonos app related but I can no longer find my system on my Mac mini. My iPhone works fine and my MacBook Pro also works fine discovering the system. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, made sure network and firewall access was enabled and still nothing. Anyone have similar issue with a fix?

I have switched the remote to IR mode, but the play bar doesn’t recognise it. Any ideas?

Hi all,I’m looking for a bit of real-world advice before upgrading part of my Sonos setup.I currently have: 2 × Play:1 1 × Play:3 Sonos One Sonos Port Era 300 We’ve recently switched over to Apple Music and are mostly using AirPlay / Apple Music integration alongside the Sonos app.I’m considering replacing the two Play:1s with two Era 100s, and I’m trying to get a feel for whether the upgrade is genuinely worthwhile.A couple of questions I’d really appreciate views on:1. Sound quality:Is the jump in sound quality from Play:1 → Era 100 actually noticeable in day-to-day listening, particularly with Apple Music (lossless / Atmos where applicable)? Or is it more of an incremental improvement?2. Apple Music & stability:Since switching to Apple Music, I’ve noticed occasional dropouts or odd behaviour when: Switching between the Sonos app and controlling playback directly from Apple Music Adding/removing rooms mid-playback For those who’ve moved from older speakers (Play:1 / Pla

I have started to notice that new playlists when created in Apple Music are not syncing or even appearing in the playlist option in my Sonos app. if Io delete an old playlist is is removed and disappears from the list on both app and desktop. but if I recreate it, it is not seen anywhere apart from inside Apple Music on the Mac or iPhone.I have removed everything app / service from both Mac & iPhone but it has made no difference, also I am getting duplicated playlist I have 4 copies of the “Favourites” I am using S2 system with iOS 26.2 and latest Sonos app and firmwareI have tried everything I can think ofAnybody got any ideas?

Can I achieve Atmos setup with the following set of in-wall/ceiling speakers with one Sonos Amp?One Pair of KEF Ci200RS-THX One Pair of KEF Ci200RR-THXDo I need Sonos Arc Ultra for this?

I had the S1 app for many years - all was working fine with Alexa. I could ask Alexa to play “x” on “y” room.I upgraded some of my Sonos ecosystem - but couldn’t afford to upgrade all to S2 app compatibility. Therefore I have 3 speakers on S1 and the rest on S2. But that seems to have created a problem where all Sonos elements show as ‘online’ on the list devices page - but when I click into each speaker/amp/etc - they are all offline. I have only linked the S2 system with Alexa.I have completed the steps below: Turned off phoneApp versions - up to dateDisabled enabled skill in AlexaRemoved and added speaker to Alexa appAdded Alexa skill in sonosReset networkTurned everything off and on Diagnostic data  ****************** Given that I’ve spent a few hours to get something that I use maybe once a day - is it worth pursuing? Thanks. Moderator Note: Recorded and removed Diagnostic number. Since Sonos Voice Control was released, it has responded to 100% of my first command after saying “Hey Sonos”. (Unless of course I asked it something it couldn't do, that's on me, not it)  However, while it’s sitting there in “Follow up/Continued Conversation” mode? It never EVER registers my second command. For example. Having music playing then saying “Hey Sonos, Switch to TV Input” CHIME and it does it. Then while the light is still on, I say something like “Volume Thirty Percent” or “Set Volume To Thirty Percent” and after I’m done the light goes out and nothing happens. EVER.But if I say “Hey Sonos” for both commands? It has the audacity to tell me that I don’t need to say Hey Sonos each time……. 😒This has been like this since it launched. Over 3 years now. I believe sonos voice assistant hasn't been updated since 1.1 (Will be three whole years in Feb) Anyone Else?

I changed my email and logged in with my wife’s, for 10 days I listened to any South African radio station. A week back out of the blue I was unable to stream anything but uk stations excluding all other international radio stations. So please do not tell me it is not blocked by Sonos. I have 5 speakers on the Sonos 2 controller standing there like white elephants. Why can google stream foreign radio stations, and not sonos. We invested large sum of money in systems that are useless. Why are the international facilities available but not functional?I spent 4 hours on a live chat to US yesterday just to finally tell me I need to call UK they will look into it?

I cannot get the studio pair of era 300’s to work in conjunction of the existing theater system
