I have a Sonos Arc.  When I took the soundbar out of the box after purchase the set up when fine.  Everything worked including all controls.  Since then the EQ has stopped working and also the loudness selection.  The speech enhancer works just fine.  You can use the sliders for bass and treble but it has no effect on the sound.  I tried a factory reset and reboots of the internet connection plus reinstalled the app but these controls still will not work and have no effect on the audio.  All updates have been done.  I am very disappointed and am afraid that this problem will keep me from buying anymore Sonos products or giving a good recommendation if asked.

I have a Home Automation Inc (HAI) Hi-Fi2, 8 zone sound system that I am interested in replacing as it is working intermittently and the manufacturer has discontinued the product.  Each zone corresponds to a room in the house with 2 speakers mounted in the ceiling and a small control panel.  All the speakers/control panels are wired and run back to the main Hi-Fi2 control box.  The main control box has numerous audio inputs allowing you to select (via the small control panel in each room) from multiple line-in sources (e.g. amplifier, iPhone, CD player, etc.) .  My questions: Is there a Sonos product that could be used to replace the HAI Hi-Fi2 box, but still use the existing speakers?  I’m assuming the Sonos App would replace the individual control panels.  Would I still have the option to connect and select from multiple line-in sources? Is this a DIY installation or do I need a professional?  (I am comfortable with computers, networks, hand/power tools and can follow instructions).A

L'ensemble fonctionne en multiroom uniquement avec l'application Sonos 1 sans mise à jour depuis très longtemps. Est-il possible d'intégrer un ampli zoneplayer 120 à mon dispositif  ? Sachant que l'ajout d'un nouvel appareil est tributaire d'une mise à jour. Y a t'il une solution ? Comment dois-je procéder ? Merci beaucoup par avance pour vos réponses. 

I have been having issues with my One SL Speaker that’s in my bedroom - it keeps changing its name back to “Kitchen”, which then gets confusing as I have already another speaker in the kitchen.I am changing the speaker name in the SONOS app on my phone, and it reverts back to kitchen the next time I use my speakers. I’ve read many posts online about it being related to Apple Home Kit but I do not use Apple Home at all.I have tried removing the device, re-adding it to my system, and I even factory reset the device with no luck.Is this some sort of glitch within Sonos? Can any one provide any information on how to fix it.

Can’t submit diagnostics report. Spotify not working through Sonos S2 or Spotify Connect. This is a constant problem.  reset products. Reset wifi. Tried everything. I feel like this is a major flaw in the S2 app that continues to get worse. 

Hi, I need to update my bridge on my sonos Play 1 and it doesn’t work. I’ve rebooted everything (sonos, mobile and wifi router) and I still get the message « There was a problem setting up your bridge. Our customer care is ready to help ».  The problem is I cannot listen to the radios any more. Thanks a lot for your support!

I have recently wall mounted by Sonos Beam Gen 1 to the wall underneath my wall mounted tv. up until that point the beam was working perfectly with the tv volume. Now the tv volume won’t play through the beam, air play works fine through the beam. The beam is taking control of the tv as it usually does because it has disabled the tv speakers as it usually does but no tv sound is coming though the speakers, I’ve cross checked everything, switched off the Beam, reset my WiFi hub. went into the Sonos app and tried the TV connection and it says ino connection to TV but the beam is connected properly?? Can anyone help? Hi, I would like to do a feature request. I would like to have the possibility to have the cover in full screen in the Now Playing window on iPad.Here you have a comparison between the iPad mini and Galaxy tab A9 now playing window cover size. In iPad is very small compared to the Galaxy tab. Could it be possible to address this change? I think the people who loves to see the covers would like this feature in iPad.  Thanks! 

The problem with my Sonos Play:1 speaker is that it doesn’t perform a factory reset, it doesn’t connect through the Sonos app, and it doesn’t work when I try using an Ethernet cable. No matter what I do, it doesn’t respond or connect properly.

Hi,i have deleted the alarms i set on the app on my lap top and I then re set them. I am still getting the sonos Chime alarm - the speakers are Play gen 1If i then push the pause button on the speaker - the chime alarm stops.The alarm i have set via the app on my lap top plays / kicks in - for example the radio channel i have chosen. how do i stop the Sonos Chime Alarm ?

I have two Apple iPhones can the Sonos App operate my Sonos speakers on both Apps or only one App on one mobile phone. Thanks 

Hello, as you seen in the title problem I have too much power in my opinion becoming from my system (A Ray, 2x Era 100 and a Sub Mini), I was watching a movie when I found out that sounds very good (quality and volumes) in 5.1 and without having Dolby Atmos well also, but then I was curious about this and while I was investigating about it I played some music from my PS5 connected to my LG TV and finally to the Ray by the optical cable but with 30% of volume (real 60% but I have the limit on Sonos app to max 50% of volume, so) and I was shocked about the high volume by only the Ray (the signal was in Dolby Digital 5.1 but Spotify tracks are in stereo so the surround speakers doesn't do anything (is normal because was dd 5.1 not pcm stereo or dd2.0) and the volume was very high in my opinion and after with my phone I installed several apps of sonometers and all the apps said that were between 82 - 85 dB at 2 meters from the Ray, I know that these apps aren't accurate at all but the max

Yesterday Alexa just stopped working on my Arc, not sure why. I have tried unplugging and restarting everything including the router. Also reinstalling Amazon Alexa, the Sonos app is not helpful in this process. It would not reload or setup. Back when it was working it has always had an annoying habit of hearing something that remotely sounds like Alexa and mutes the sound for a few seconds. In the age of super clever tech why on earth does it do this? And how can I get Alexa working again? 

Just moved to Tidal from Spotify and now I can’t do artist radio in the Sonos app.So many threads about this but no resolution? Come on Sonos, any update? This is ridiculous.

When the new app was released, we were promised that all the missing features would return within a few months. But as we all know, it ended up taking much longer than that. In the middle of all the confusion, I asked Sonos directly if — and when — the volume button shortcut to the Equaliser would come back. I quickly got a reply saying it was just around the corner, and that it was now a priority since many users had contacted Sonos specifically about this missing shortcut. Well… it’s now been almost a year since I was told it was just around the corner. So I hope it’s okay for me to ask here: When can we realistically expect it to return?

Things have been working great for a couple of years when suddenly this afternoon we started losing connection to the sonos. I have changed my home router and my existing Sonos one speakers cannot connect to WiFi. I have followed instructions for re-booting and re-factory setting but speakers will not connect. Any advice would be appreciated.

I listen to online radio stations a lot using the Sonos app. I've noticed that often, the artist and song doesn't update when a new song comes on. Anyone else have this problem? Anybody know of a fix?

Hi All, I’ve got a Sonos Amp that runs in ceiling speakers in my Kitchen, along with a Sonos Sub Gen 3.  In addition to that, I have an Arc and Sub Gen 3 in my living room, and a bunch of Play 1’s around the house.  Only the Arc is hardwired into my network all other Sonos products are wireless.  The  rest of my system works just fine, but my Sonos Sub stops playing after some time and no longer shows up in the Sonos App.  If I factory reset the Sub and re-add it, it pairs to my Amp just fine, but will eventually stop playing.  The Amp is in my basement and the Sub is on the first floor of the house.  They are maybe 30 feet from each other total.  I’ve read that the Sub’s “bond” wireless to the player they are grouped with.  I’m thinking perhaps my Sub is too far from my amp to keep a good wireless connection.  Is there anyway to fix this without moving the sub or amp? 

Since the Omnishambles of May 24 the TuneIn integration has been hamstrung and it’s take WAY too long to fix.Issue 1: Navigating to a podcast and clicking on the text or play button adds the entire series to the queue, not just that episode. The episode plays, but I don’t want the whole series, just the one podcast as I may want to mix things up and listen to a number of different podcasts in a row. This renders the whole queue useless.Issue 2: If I long-press the text or play button I get the sub-menu up from where I can Play Now / Play Next / Replace Queue etc. This functionality works, I can use it to add individual podcasts to the queue. Yay! Only problem is they don’t play, and I get the “Couldn’t Play Content. Try Again” message.Issue 3: As of the last few days even if it’s a 20 min episode all I get is 45 seconds of adverts before it moves to the next episode in the queue and this is repeated.Bored of the UX issues now Sonos. It’s been over a year.

Hi there, this has been an issue for quite a while now, sometimes it completely prevents me from streaming content and at other times it’s intermittent.Basically, I like to be able to stream YouTube on my phone via AirPlay, listening to narrations and other audio content there which is not available from audio only platforms.I get an error on youtube “Something went wrong”. This can happen immediately preventing me from listening to the content on my Sonos speakers or, just as annoyingly, start and then get the error at random times during playback. This random stop may then prevent me from listening or a refresh may work for a while before it happens again.If I don’t AirPlay to my speakers it works just fine. I also tried streaming to my Apple TV, to see if it was an AirPlay problem, however that worked just fine.After scowering the internet, it seems to be a known issue. Anyone experiencing a decrease in the bass of the system (in my case 2 Era 300 + Sub 4) after last update (updated yesterday October 16th). since this update, I am expericing a decrease in the overall bass of my system.

You’ll have to forgive me, I’m really not technical. I have a Beam 2 connected to my Samsung tv via optic cable for the Dolby Atmos. Both have Alexa capacity, I currently have Alexa turned on on the Beam but not the tv - I can turn tv on/off and control volume but I can’t open platforms/search etc and would like to. Can both be turned on? Am I better just staying as I am? I also have an Era with Hey Sonos activated but they just turn themselves on and off when they want, usually interrupting a conversation. I hope I’ve explained it correctly, I think I’m over my head. TIA
