For years there has been only problems with my sonos system. I’m so close to chucking it all out the window. The last hour: Playbar works, unable to add livingroom speakers, try ten times, playbar disappears from system, app goes completely blank, livingroom re-appears, unable to pause, playbar reappears in app but without sound, and on and on and on and on ad infinitum et absurdum. Where can I send it all for incineration?! 

I have a Sonos ray, Sonos 1 and a Sonos move. When I put on my Sonos Move for music in our conservatory it automatically puts the music through the Sonos ray even though I click the source to be the move. Getting so frustrated. Moderator edit: Changed “roam” to “Move”

We just finished our basement and added a stone fireplace and hung our LG OLED evo 77” tv above. We are wanting to add some kind of additional sound system for watching movies. Are there any Sonos options out there that we don’t have to get a soundbar? 

Hi!just got a new Arc Ultra in black. when unboxing it, I first thought I was shipped a whit one by mistake because the protective felt in which the Arc Ultra came is white.  My previous Arc Ultra (also black) came in a black protective felt, as all black Sonos speakers came in black felts. Has sonos changed this detail in its packaging?

I am having trouble setting up my SOnos home cinema.In my sitting room, I have a One connected to my router. All my other speakers use Sonosnet and this mostly works great.I added an Arc Ultra to the sitting room and this is also working. However, I am now trying to connect up rear speakers.I moved another One into the sitting room and tried to setup both this and the One connected to my router with the Arc. I get a little way through the process and then I am told that the Arc needs a wired ethernet connection.I should say at this point that I have tried my Sonos setup in wifi standalone mode before and it did not go well - the network was incredibly unreliable and I do not want to go there again.I spoke to technical support about this and from what I can gather I have three options.1. Get a very long ethernet cable and drape it all around the walls of the sitting room so I can plug the Arc in. One of the reasons I chose the Arc was to avoid having cables everywhere.2. I’m planning to set up a Sonos Arc ultra with two Subs(gen 4 and 3) for my great room and am debating between adding in-wall speakers powered by a Sonos Amp for a more immersive experience, or using a pair of Era 300s as surrounds. A few questions: If I go with the in-wall + Amp option, are there any limitations in terms of audio formats (e.g., Dolby Atmos, TrueHD, DTS)? Will the in-wall speakers only handle surround channels, or can they contribute to Atmos height effects? Does the Arc + in-wall setup provide the same level of immersion as using Era 300s with spatial audio? My hesitation with the Era 300s is that I have small kids (3 and 4 years old) and nephews who might knock them over. Any thoughts on stability or mounting options for the Eras? 

My turntable connects to a Sonos Amp. I wish to listen using headphones. I believe I can connect my headphones to a headphone amp which in turn is connected to a Sonos Port. Will this work?Fernando

We’ve moved home and needed to set up a new network but Spotify isn’t showing up as a content service we can add when it was and should be compatible.  I’ve tried some of the other suggestions such as deleting the app and reinstalling, rebooting the iPhone but with no luck, Tried on our iPad but it would need updating to allow us to update the system functionality.Thanks

Does anyone else find it deceptive for Sonos to offer 30% off vouchers to exchange old Sonos legacy products for new ones. And then for them to only tell you after you've sent your product that the offer isn't valid for items already on sale? Their perspective and attitude is, it's already on sale, so just pay us the sale price (that EVERYONE gets) and be happy. What value did I get for sending them my old legacy product!?

Can someone please tell me how to get Apple Music to stop dropping out on my Sonos system? It’s gotten so bad. I can’t take it anymore. It’s only Apple Music and Spotify plays completely perfectly through the entire system no dropouts no nothing. Unfortunately, I’ve had Apple Music for over 20 years and all my stuff is on Apple Music and everything I stream is on Apple Music. So I’m not gonna pay for a Spotify account Just to listen to everything on Sonos. I know this didn’t happen when we actually had the old app that worked. And I’m sure Sonos’s won’t acknowledge any of these problems because they never do and then it’ll be 2 1/2 years from now and they’ll post something on the forum saying we finally fixed Apple Music problems so does anybody have any type of a setting fix or something for this?

Hey folks,So I recently got a Sonos Arc (super happy with the sound 🔥), but I’ve been noticing something weird… every now and then it just disconnects randomly from the app. Sometimes it takes a minute to reconnect, other times I need to restart WiFi.I searched a bit and found a couple of similar reports, but not sure if it’s a common issue or just my setup messing up. Using Arc with eARC on LG TV WiFi is mesh (TP-Link Deco) Everything else works fine on the network Anyone else facing this? Or maybe some hidden setting I should tweak?Would love to hear your experiences 🙏

For years my SoundCloud account worked just fine through my Sonos system.Today all in SoundCloud all was empty but other services like Mixcloud were fine. I removed my SoundCloud account to re-add it but that isn't possible anymore.It says network connection error  I already rebooted the whole network including all Sonos speakers :(

Hey,Over the past couple of months, I’ve been using my move speakers to play music on when I practice bass. A few days ago, I went to play the music, and one speaker sounded incredible muffled like it was underwater, and the other speaker was fine. I could kind of adjust this and fix it with eq but it was still noticeably bad. I just used the other speaker that night. Last night, I went to go use the other speaker, and it seemed to have the treble maxed out on it with little to no bass coming from it. Same thing, even with messing with the eq, it still didn’t sound right. I haven’t used them since and I really don’t know what to do. I really want to avoid getting a new speaker if that’s possible. Has this happened to you, and what did you do to fix it?

I've recently been away on my return my system is offline i went to readd my system and make sure the network is ok and the sonos app on iso will not allow me to login so i can not configure my system pressing sign in takes me to a blank page I've tried everything. The system was working great before i went away  its it a sonos software issue with the app? .I've reached out to sonos support but tbh I'm more advanced with tech then the person i was speaking too so this was a dead end (not to sound arrogant)has anyone had the same issue and found a fix I've reconfigured my network from scratch changed dns incase its not compatible with sonos appreset all sonos speakers reset the app rebooted my phone tried on windows 11 pro sonos controller uninstalled the sonos app and reinstalled plugged into Ethernetnothing has worked ive managed to get the surrounds and sub back showing on my network but still cant readd them to the full system because i cant login to configure the app does allow me

This nonsense still persists. It's constant and annoying. Once you reauthorize, it never loads the service. You have to close the app, then re-open, then it works (until the next day when it stops working again).My setup: iphone app, 99% ethernet speakers/amps, high-speed internet, all devices have assigned ip address. No excuse for this. 

Soundcloud service has failed today and I am unable to re-add it. When it provides me with a code to enter into Soundcloud to reconnect it but once I log in and go back to Sonos it says ‘Something went wrong, check your internet connection and try again’. Other times it does not generate the Soundcloud code and just goes straight to the same connection issue message. Have tried restarting apps, turning all sonos zones on and then off at the plug. 

I have:sono ampsonos Sub gen 3sonos arc ultrasonos architecture ceiling speakers sonos architecture wall speakers  before I got the arc. The sound was in incredible. Blew my mind. But once I added the arc ultra, I found the sound would no longer play from the architecture speakers as they are now considered height speakers / surround speakers and I am making a leap here that if the sound is not destined for those speakers it. It no longer is sent unless it was supposed to. Like when listening in Dolby it does go to them.  Most noticed when listening to music some tracks sound night and day different. Almost terrible.  OR if I listen to music on Sonos app. Sounds great.  BUT if I listen to music from the tv ( you tube, Apple Music ) it sounds terrible again.  I would prefer to be able to play sound to the architecture speakers like before and just add the arc ultra as additional speakers.  could I use my other amp that I use seasonally Denny outside speakers and use it solely for my arc

Sonos (S1 on Mac and iPad) is randomly losing connection to my music library… one day it will be working fine, the next it cannot find it.  The stock answer seems to be the firewall is preventing access/network or wi fi issues… but the firewall settings have not changed and everything else on the network and wifi is working perfectly.  File Sharing is on, Sonos is listed as a user with full access, have tried removing the library and re-adding it.  Works for a while but then randomly loses it.  I removed and re-added the library about a month ago and today it cannot find it.  There have been no updates to the system or software (have manually made sure that nothing is updated automatically that could cause this)… So I go through the same process, remove and re-add and it’s working fine.  Anyone else having this issue?  

This is our yard and the red line indicates a new pergola that we are going to install. All the gravel and some grass in the front will mostly be converted to concrete pavers under the pergola. I am planning to buy the sonance mag6.1 with Sonos amp (Best Buy exclusive) and was wondering how to place the 6 satellite speakers and the son woofer to get optimum results. We do want to focus on the pergola as the main entertainment area but would like to distribute atleast a couple Of the satellite speakers on either side of the yard. Woudl also need some recommendation on how to connect the left and right channels too.. Also this is the first time we are doing something like this so Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ok, what I want to do is to remove SonosNet completely and use only ethernet and wifi for my devices. Here’s what I have:PlayBar Roam V2 6 x Play:1I originally setup SonosNet for my network pre-wifi-on-sonos being a thing.I want to keep the Playbar and one of the Play:1s connected via ethernet, and have the rest use WiFi.  I want to disable SonosNet completely.  I have seen suggested processes that say to disable wifi everywhere first (I can’t disable wifi on my devices, the option does not exist anywhere on the app that I can find).   I’ve seen countless posts saying “If your devices are disconnected from ethernet they’ll just use wifi if it’s configured”.  I have both my 2.4ghz and my 5ghz networks configured to Sonos,  Sonos tells me they’re they’re and available, yet none of my devices are using it except for the Roam.  I followed advice that says I need to factory reset my Play:1s to add them to wifi (including the app telling me to do this).  So I tried it.  When I re-add them, t

My TVs main audio is connected to my Beam and it works just fine but when I try to connect it to my Kitchen Amp speakers, audio comes through for just a split second then stops. I can play any other audio source through my kitchen speakers but not my TV. I can also play my TV audio through other Amp speakers I have throughout the house but not the kitchen.  Thoughts?

Hello,I have Sonos ERA100, ERA300, Arc Ultra, Sub Gen 4 and Beam GEN 2. I bought all of them in Singapore. Since we are moving to The United States, I have a concern. Singapore: 240VAC 50HzThe United States: 120VAC 60Hz. Can I use all of my Sonos products in US only with plug adapter? 

I have just bought a new Port to connect my new Pro-Ject T1 turntable to my system. Installation of Port was simple with no issues.I have set the Port up as a “room” and connected the turntable via Line In. I have set up the default speakers via the app and it connects and plays as soon as I put the needle on the record.  I have also set up Groups for other rooms. Kitchen is 4x ceiling speakers powered by an Amp. Bedroom is a Play 3 etc etc. I have added the Port room to the Group but when selected there is no sound in the other rooms.  Any suggestions very welcome. Thanks
