Hi, I ‘ve setup the Arc Ultra, Sub 4 in Media room, and Era 100 two speakers in living room. I’m unable to setup surrounds as Era 100 speakers. Can you please check and suggest.

Thanks

Ravi

Its working after removing from separate speakers and then configured as surrounds under Arc

We can’t ‘check’, we aren’t Sonos Support employees. This is a forum, unfortunately not where Support works.

If I were to guess, you need to put your Era 100s in two separate Sonos ‘ rooms’ , then use the controller to add them as surround speakers to your Arc Ultra.

@Airgetlam is correct. To be clear you don’t need to physically move them to different rooms. 😂

Just set them up with different names (which is a room in Sonos speak). Then go to the room with the Arc Ultra in the app and select “add surrounds”.

Happy Holidays!

Make sure the Era 100s are not configured as a separate room. Remove them first, then add them as surrounds under the Arc Ultra settings. Same Wi-Fi and latest updates are important.

I am having the same troubles setting up Arc Ultra and Era100 (I have one) as surround. I have added Era100 to the same room (even though adding to the same room the name is automatically changed. For example, I had Arc Ultra under Office, after adding Era100 to “Office”, the room name is changed to “Office 1”). I have also added Era100 to separate rooms during set up. I have also tried only having Arc Ultra added to the system (Era100 reset) and go to “add surround” under Arc Ultra. No matter what I do, when I go under Arc Ultra to add surround, it is unable to detect Era100. Please help!

There is no way to set a single speaker as a surround, it needs two matching speakers.

You can Group it but for TV use there will be a slight delay.
