Sonos system with Bridge, Play 3 and Play 5 1st gen.

Play 3 can play music library on NAS, if I group Play 3 and Play 5 they can play music library on NAS, but Play 5 on its own gets the message “unable to access….”

I’ve done a factory reset of the 5 and reconnected to the network, but still get the same problem.

First thing to do is to power down the Bridge, connect Ethernet to one of tne other speakers and try playing again. The Bridge is long obsolete and suffers from power issues.

If this works without the Bridge remove it from your system, either keep a speaker wired, or better switch your Sonos to wifi.

The support section here has articles on doing both.
