My setup has Arc, Sub Gen3, Two Era 100’s, Two Era 300’s

I have an older Arc and a pair of Era 300’s set to the side of the soundbar but I have been getting that annoying pop or crack sound as I’m watching any content. I  have tried a number of things:

  • I have set them as a stereo pair and still that does not work. Popping happens.
  • Reset the speakers.
  • Set them as a separate set and they still pop.
  • I have restarted my home network and added them back in and nothing is working.

Has anyone gone through this or found a solution. Initially the Soundbar and Era’s were all popping but now just the Era 300’s are doing that after I was sent replacements for the soundbar and Era300’s.
I’m at my wits end and so angry since these speakers don’t come cheap.

If you are looking for replacements calling support is the only good option.

Help them out by capturing a diagnostic, maybe a couple,  when the popping happens. Then call.

To help those who want to help you, would you be so kind as to define which speakers are bonded to which soundbar, and what source is creating this ‘popping’, and if it’s a TV southern, what kind of TV, the connection between the TV and the soundbar, and the source that you’re watching that causes this popping?

Based on your post, you have too many speakers for a simple home theater setup, so better definitions would help.

I have reached out to support and they have so far been silent about anything I’ve shared. I sent them a couple of videos of the speakers popping. I guess I’m in the cross my fingers and hope for the best but expect nothing stage.
As for how they are bound I have them currently set up as stand alone since speakers I had them as a stereo pair when the popping first started. Then I set them as surrounds and the popping still continued. I have them set a singular speakers and I’m not really using them since they just turn into an annoyance as we are watching.
My Soundbar is sourcing from my ARC HDMI port on the TV. Everything else flows to the soundbar by grouping depending on what we are watching.

I have the same issue. Reached out to support. Once i sent the video so they could hear the popping sound, they went silent. No one responds to my emails anymore. Ive gotten tired of calling to get runaround.

I’m going to try calling them again. Or I’ll turn into Andy Dufresne from the Shawshank Redemption and write till I get an answer. Better yet I’ll call every single day till get to know every customer rep. We need answers, we’ve spent a small fortune on living room place holders and we need answers. I hope the CEO reads this.

A full charge on your phone, a good book, and an empty bladder, then the support call! :-)
