Can I achieve Atmos setup with the following set of in-wall/ceiling speakers with one Sonos Amp?

  1. One Pair of KEF Ci200RS-THX
  2. One Pair of KEF Ci200RR-THX

Do I need Sonos Arc Ultra for this?

Is this a way to integrate KEF/SONOS ceiling speakers for Atmos with Sonos Arc Ultra?

You can integrate an Amp as surrounds with a Sonos Arc Ultra.  The Arc Ultra will be the front Left/Center/Right and Atmos Left/Right, the Amp will be the Left/Right surrounds.   No Atmos signal will come out of the Amp, only surround info.  Also, optimum surround placement is a single pair behind the listeners to the left and right, at ear level.  Ceiling speakers are not optimum for surrounds, nor are multiple pairs of speakers.

An Amp used as surrounds cannot achieve Atmos alone.  The Amp will be surround L/R only, any Atmos signal will be coming from the soundbar (Arc Utra) in front.

The bottom line is that a Sonos Amp in any configuration will not recognize Dolby Atmos sound.

Maybe you already own the KEF in-ceilhg speakers you mentioned. If not the price of those ranging from $800 to $1200 each is approximately $3200 to $4800 in some combination of 4 speakers plus two Sonos Amps at $1600/pair. Total expenditure $4800 to $6400.

On the other hand the following Sonos gear to deliver complete Immersion with Dolby Atmos is $3280 w/Era 300 Stands or $3130 w/Era 300 Wall Mounts.
