speaker not on app

I’ve received a replacement for my malfunctioning Beam Gen2 (same model replacement). I have 2x One SL’s on my current WiFi/System.

setting up the replacement Beam went fine through the app. At the end the app said to power cycle if I didn’t see the device on my app. I’ve power cycled the Beam and my router several times. Still nothing in the app. I double checked to make sure the One SL’s are working on the same network. They are paired as a stereo set and working fine so I doubt this is a wireless network issue.

What do you mean by “Check change systems” option in the app? It appears to me that when adding your replacement Beam2 you selected “Set up a new System” rather than “Add a speaker or Component”.

Power down all Sonos, reboot router and controller, power up tne Beam then the rest.

Has to be in That order, and all Sonos or it often won't take.

Turns out the app put the Sonos Beam on a separate system even though it was on the same WiFi. I had to reset my One SLs and add them to the new system.

Once I setup the system on WiFi and couldn’t find the device I power cycled on a Ethernet connection. The system duplication was discovered after letting the Beam sit connected to an Ethernet cable for a bit. Not sure if that effected the system duplication or not.

so word of caution for those experiencing similar. Check the “change systems” option in the app.
