Hey all, I have 6 sonos speakers set up in my reception, but recently ive been having the issue of them unsyncing, and some speakers playing music whilst others arent. What can I do to fix this?

I am trying to follow the instructions here to add a Google Nest Mini in a room which has an old Play 1 for voice control.I can’t for the life of me add it in the Sonos app. Basically I get to the stage where I go into my Sonos app, General Settings add voice assistant. One of the devices on my system is an Arc, which has the ability to install / have Google Assistant. So when I select Settings->General Settigns->Voice Assistants->Add a voice assistant->Google Assistant it comes up with a prompt ‘select a room to add Google Assistant’ and presents me with the room with the Arc in.There is no option to add my Nest Mini. I must be missing something but for the life of my I’ve got no idea what I need to do.

We have had our Sono system for years and it's been great. We recently had a new router installed and I’ve been having troubles ever since.After doing some research online it looked like the wifi bands being synchronised may have been the issue as Sonos primarily operates at 2.4GHz. I have spilt the bands on our router and connected the Sonos and my phone to the 2.4GHz but I’m still having issues.Every time I try and play anything the error message “ Unable to play - network connection speed insufficient to maintain playback buffer” showsI have the two play 3’s and play 5 with a bridge but nothing is connected directly to the router as they are all quite far away from it Can anyone please help as it's driving me insane, especially as I thought I have cracked it! 

I’ve just spent 4 hours on both on the Sonos chat and then had to call to try and get my system up and running. I’ve upgraded my Vodafone wifi 6E router to WiFi 7 but can only get my 4 x ERA 300 speakers to work. I can’t get the Arc and any of my older speakers to work ie Play one (gen2) x 2 or play 3 and Play 5.At the end I was told no they won’t work as our speakers aren’t compatible with WiFi 7 except the ERAs. So I’ve now got a partly obsolete system. I would have expected to be told that within 5 minutes if that’s really the case not 4 hours later after exhausting every avenue. I also asked so if I upgrade to the Arc ultra will it work but apparently it won’t either , I find it hard to believe no one else has had this issue as im sure many people are upgraded to WiFi 7.Has anyone heard if Sonos are addressing this or anyone had similar issues ?

Is it possible to pair my Denon RCD-M41DAB to a stero pair of Era 100s? At the moment it doesn’t register the speakers at all, I wondered if it might only be possible to connect to one speaker and not a stero set-up.

Hi. I have been trying to play music on my Era 100 for a good while now, and it just won’t. It can connect to my phone, and my phone says it’s working and playing music through it, but no sound will come out. I tried turning it on and off, without any success. If it can help solving my problem, I’m using Spotify and am on iOS 18.6.2.

Can I add the sonos app to a second phone and then add my system there also? 

YouTube and Spotify both use Opus (Vorbis container) as their main codec, using AAC (MP4/M4A container) as a lower quality fallback.YouTube also only offers it's Stable Volume feature in Opus, via DRC. I have a complicated issue. I have a 65” Samsung TV that is connected to my Sonos whole-house audio system via ethernet and a BINARY B-260-ARC adapter. When connected via HDMI eARC port to the Binary component, the resulting sound cuts out every 2-3 seconds. (Sound works fine when using TV speakers or when connected directly to a soundbar.) I have replaced all connected components and cables. Samsung has verified that TV is working properly. One tech told me that Samsung has a known defect that often causes intermittent issues with Sonos (unverified). Any thoughts on how to overcome this problem?

Hi All,  New Sonos ERA-100 set-up issue. I cannot get my cellphone to Bluetooth to pair will speakers.But!  But I have been able to do it with my laptop. My goal is to stream music from non-Sonos sources. Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a high-pitched “beep / whine” noise when using the LINE-IN on my Sonos Five, and I’m hoping for some advice.Setup:- Turntable with built-in phono preamp- External phono preamp also tested (same result)- RCA → 3.5mm cable into Sonos Five LINE-IN- LINE-IN source level tested from low to high- Audio Compression: Auto / Compressed (no change)- Autoplay ON/OFF tested- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices nearby minimized- Different cables tested- Different power outlets testedWhat happens:- A faint but clearly audible high-frequency “beep” or electronic whine- Noise is present even when no record is playing- Noise level changes depending on LINE-IN source level and volume- More noticeable during quiet passages or when volume is raisedImportant note:When I disconnect the LINE-IN cable from the Sonos Five, the noise disappears completely.This makes me think it’s related specifically to the analog LINE-IN path.Questions:- Is this a known issue with Sonos Five LINE-IN?- Coul

The system has been mostly functional, but last night—of course, with a house full of people—it completely fell apart. The standard Sonos response was the predictable “it’s your network,” which is nonsense. It has never been my network. This is a small-business-grade enterprise system running security (including cameras and door entry), HVAC, lighting, and general Wi-Fi without a single issue. Sonos is the only thing that consistently struggles.I’m then told that multiple Port units need to be registered. Fine. I follow that path and immediately hit the requirement for precise location services to be enabled. For a wired streaming device. I currently own the first generation sonos arc and sub 1 paired with two(2) SL ones.I am planning on replacing the SL ones with a pair Eras 300 and add a sub 4 to use a dual sub, will this be possible.

Despite over 30 calls and chats with Sonos Support, I cannot play anything from Amamzon Music without songs dropping out because they are " not encoded correctly". This has now been going on for over 3 years. I have reset the apps, systems, speakers, reconnected etc etc and nothing works. So, currently I just bluetooth to my speakers directly from Amazon Music and it works perfectly. My internet is very fast (500mbps) and Support have checked diagnostic reports, packet size, channel etc and have run out of ideas or recommendations. Given its a common problem here, what have others done that has resolved this for them? I simply cannot use the Sonos App without the song dropping out after 1 min! At least Bluetooth works but what is the point of the Sonos app in this situation?!

I’m still pretty new to Sonos. I’ve set up two home theaters in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs. Downstairs I have an arc ultra, a mini sub and two era 100s. Upstairs I have a beam, a mini sub and two era 100s. I have a couple of era 300s but I haven’t unboxed yet because I’m trying to decide where I want to use them. I was chatting with a neighbor who told me that she bought some Sonos speakers that were used once for a Super Bowl party, then put back into their boxes, never to be used again. She didn’t really know what kind of speakers she had, but I took a peek and it’s an arc a sub and two Sonos ones. They look and sound perfect. She plans to put them on marketplace for $700 to recoup about half of what she paid, but said she’s let me have them for $450. My questions is whether I can use this equipment with my newer speakers?I don’t need another arc but I could use the Sonos ones in my office, but, having a sub sounds is what has me considering this. Hello,,,I’m noticing lots of issues playing Amazon Music through Sonos speakers, anybody else experiencing this or know if it’s a known (and accepted issue by Sonos)? Issues with shuffle; constantly cycles through a small selection of songs in a playlists.Refusal to play songs later in a playlist; I manually select a songs but each and every time, the first song of the playlist plays, not the song selected. Regards Ted

I’m a complete novice and not technically gifted!  I have a Sonos Era 100 and Amazon Prime unlimited.  I can’t link the two so that the playlist on Amazon plays on Sonos.  Help please.  Thanks 

I wanted to gauge from the community as to whether or not people are experiencing bad sound quality through their arc ultra speakers as I have had two units and both have produced a slightly distorted/fuzzy sound specifically from the right side of the speaker. I don’t know if it’s bad luck or not but wanted to check with others to see if they’re also experiencing this and what they did to fix it? My arc ultra is connected to my Samsung tv through the eARC port with the cable provided and use my Apple TV 4K Gen 1 to watch content. The fuzzy noise is present when watching any kind of media through the Apple TV as well as when I’m streaming music through the Sonos app and even when adding the product to my system through the chime it plays as well as during the trueplay tuning. I have even changed the settings on the Samsung tv such that sound is output via pass through rather than automaticAny help would be much appreciated, I will try get the product replaced but wanted to see if this

New Sky 500 max router, old ish Sonos one. All ok until i needed to connect to latest WIFI.It connects when wired no problem but will not work wireless. I have tried many times. Factory resets etc etc. I am not especially tech savvy but usually get by. Not this time. Tried Iphone and Samsung phones.

Question: How do I keep my line-in audio source playing to the entire house while flipping a record instead of having it disconnect from the Sonos group? I recently switched my turntable (AT-LP60XBT) from a Bluetooth connection to a line-in connection. (After adding a couple more speakers around the house the BT connection was starting to fail and drop speakers off, I assume due to the delay.)(With the line in 3.5 to USB-C)When I start a record, the music automatically comes out of my era 100 fine. I then go in the app and select the rest of the house, which plays fine. Almost 100% of the time, when the record stops and needs to be flipped, the audio reverts back to only the Era 100 that the line in is plugged into. This is complicated by the fact that in the app, the line in is still connected to the entire house (5 speakers) and does not update. So then I force quit the app to reset it, and when first opened, the app seems to come alive and connect to my system fine but does not show
