I have been with sonos from the inception, I loved and recommend it to countless people. I have a huge setup with mixed generations. But I'm having the worst sonos experience for the last 5 months on my android phone (Samsung Galaxy ultra s25). Hoping the issues will be fixed but I'm losing hope. The basic s*** like I can't find devices in the app, it keep asking to register the new device, searching for devices every time I open the app... Driving me nuts, the whole concept of sonos to me is quality of music at the touch of a button. It's been a nightmare, is anyone else having these issues?I'm ready to give up at this point! Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct 

My TV sound (through a DAC converter) shows in my Sonos system as a source (Line-in), and when pressed it does show a signal (signal symbol fluctuates), but no sound comes. This has worked in the past but has stopped working some time ago. I have tried a lot (swap optical cable, power resets, adjust settings in app) but nothing works. When removed the Line-In source disappears so it is evident that it is correctly connected. Any tips??

Afternoon all. Appealing to experienced hands as always as I’ve had no success to date with this onePreviously I purchased a 1st gen Hue Sync to add to a Panasonic GZ2000 running with a Sonos Arc, Pair of Sonos One’s and a Sonos Sub. The TV also had a Roku stick, A Nivida Sheild and an Apple TV box. But I could never get it to work and returned it. This was maybe three or four years back.Now I’m in the fortunate position of being able to set up a new room, again with a new flagship Panasonic, a Sonos ARC Ultra, a pair of Era 300’s and a new sub and would again like to try at adding add a Hue Sync. Most likely we will add the same Roku, Nividia, Freesat and Freeview boxes. Not sure how many HDMI’s are on the Panasonic …. I think 4 … its the Z95B.Possible to get any set up guidance from those having success here please? Or any limitations? Or is it even possible? I know there was a 2nd gen Sync launched a while ago but can’t see any real data on what sets that one apart.I also read that

We have had Sonos speakers for several years, but we keep losing connectivity and have to reset everything. We have a Google mesh system throughout the house, so WiFi is not the issue. We are ready to throw it all out, it’s a horrible experience. How do we fix this?

I have arc ultra and two new ERA 300s. Sound is amazing for music from Spotify, but extremely low volume with DirectV. Very frustrating.

Hello, Just bought a Sonos Arc and found out that one of the streaming services on my Android TV provides home theater sound in AAC 5.1. After fiddling with the setup and looking on the Internet, I found that Sonos does not support AAC 5.1, and it is downmixed to PCM 2.0. Some questions:1-  Are there any suggestions how to get AC3 to Sonos Arc? I’m now using an Android player capable of software transcoding AAC 5.1 to AC3, but it’s not an ideal solution. Maybe there are hardware transcoders capable of the task? Or a system-level utility for Android? Or maybe some TVs are capable of such transcoding? The only one that was suggested up to now is to use Nvidia Shield, which is told to be capable of transcoding everything to AC3. Surely something else can then do it as well?2- What is the reason for Sonos to not support this format? Is there a chance we would get support at a later stage? Thank you in advance!

Hi,I have a facility with 5 Sonos Ports. each in different floor. each Port connected to dedicated Amp and speakers.All Ports reside on the same network (VLAN)the need is to be able to make the 1st Port determine the music that would be played through the rest 4 Port devices.Is that possible to do through using the Port devices only?thanks 

Just received the Sonos “Immersive Set with Beam” couldn’t wait to get it up and running. I’m in my 70s so please reply slowly…. Over the years I’ve had several systems that always allowed me to set a baseline volume level for each speaker in a surround sound configuration. I spent about 4 hours this afternoon on the Sonos App and no such luck.  I remember reading a blog about placing each ERA100 in its own room and going that route, with that, I was able to set the volume of each speaker but not able to save it when done.  Was hoping for the ability to save those settings that would stay proportional increased or decreased the grouping volume.  I though perhaps the “Zone” function would do that but didn’t have any luck.  Any help would be appreciated.

Can you control sonos from more than one phone?

my Sonos has become so glitchy. It is almost unusable. It goes in and out all the time. Sometimes I get three songs in a row with no problem sometimes I can’t get one song in a row with no problems sometimes certain connect amps sync up sometimes times they don’t I’ve reset routers. I’ve unplugged all the systems. I’ve been having this problem that keeps getting worse. I have six Sonos connect amps a Sonos move and two Sonos play bars. Please help me 

Hi everyoneRadio France's FIP radio links load ok using the Sonos app on an iPhone, but have stopped loading on an Android phone. Disconnecting/reconnecting Radio France to/from the app makes no difference, nor does clearing the cache of the app or a reboot of the phone.I am trying to avoid reinstalling the app because I want to retain the data for my system's setup.Any ideas anyone please?

I have a Sonos One in my kitchen area that will start a timer if I say “Hey, Siri, set a timer for 10 (or whatever) minutes.” Occasionally, I’ll ask Siri a different question and the One will reply that it doesn’t understand the question or that it can’t do that.I’ve occasionally tried this with the two other Sonos One speakers I have, and they didn’t respond (to be fair, the kitchen One doesn’t always), so maybe my kitchen One is an outlier.Everything is up to date, fwiw, and this has been going on for quite awhile—I’m just getting around to wondering aloud what’s happening. I’ve taken to practically whispering to my watch or iphone but I’m wondering if anyone else has run across this issue?

I have quite a few playlists saved in the Sonos app. Most include tracks I searched and saved from Napster to my Sonos playlist. A few days ago, none of those tracks would play. An error message ‘lost connection to Napster’ would pop up and every Napster-derived track would be skipped over until the Sonos app reached a track sourced from a different streaming service. I did the usual stuff — cut the Napster connection, rebooted everything, reauthorized Napster, yadda yadda.Nothing worked. Since the new software update last month I can’t airplay from my iPhone to any of my Sonos speakers. Play a track, select airply options and the speakers are all showing, once you click on a speaker, the tick comes up but no music plays.  after 3-5 seconds it times out and starts playing out of my iPhone speaker again.This is the same wether it’s Apple Music app, YouTube, whatever. So it isn’t a 3rd party app issue. Sonos is up to date on software updates and network updates. and yes, everything has been turned off and back on for a reset :)The Sonos app works fine and plays. speakers work fine with TV and also from my wifes Samsung phone she can play to any speaker, so it has to be an apple to Sonos connectivity issue specifically via airplay.  Any ideas??

I have a Play 5 that is connected to AT-LP60X turntable. For several years this has worked flawlessly. We noticed earlier this year that the records had a warble sound. Almost sounded like the music was under water. It was in the spring time and we got busy with summer activities. Now that it is cold and we want to listen to our music we are noticing it again. We changed out the needle and tested the speed of the turntable. All was good. Finally we hooked up some headphones to the turntable and the sound was flawless.  I tried some online recommendations and it really seems like an issue with the audio compression setting being removed from the Sonos application. If I reset the speaker, or change the EQ settings. The sound goes back to normal and the distortion is gone, but it will come back usually around 10-15 minutes later.  Supposedly this was an issue with the app update that was fixed. I have a Sonos TV system consisting of an Arc soundbar (wired), a subwoofer, and two Era300 speakers with Asus ZenWifi XD6 communications. The sound from the speakers is extremely choppy. It's impossible to hear the music. I previously had Sonos Ones instead of the Era300s, and I changed them to see if it was a hardware issue, but it wasn't. Now it's even worse. It stutters much more than before. I've tried everything: turning off the router, waiting two minutes, reinstalling the entire system. Even the recommendations given by IA: Disable Airtime Fairness, Disable QoS, Disable Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), …The Asus mesh system (one node on the same TV room) works great. Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Just bought a move (2nd hand). Never been used, sellers information. The speaker will not charge. Keep switching between fast twinkling red light and slower orange lights. Any idea? Anyone?

Hello, ever since the app update, I have been unable to create a room group without the playback stopping. Usually, I start listening in one room, then decide I want the playback in the full apartment so I attempt to add a room to the group. Every time, it stops the playback. Sometimes I completely lose the content I was playing and have to restart everything from the beginning. This happens no matter what service I am streaming from (usually spotify), and whether I create the group in the Sonos iOS or Mac app. So incredibly frustrating. 

I have a Port and a a pair of Play 3 as a stereo pair. Every time I stream music from iTunes I have to do the dance of remember in the Sonos App how to get the Port to play to the Play 3’s - can I configure the Port to always auto pair with the Stereo pai?

I had two play 3 speakers in my “Living Room” set up with surround sound. For some reason one speaker disconnected from the system and I reconnected it HOWEVER it did not go back to “Living Room” it created a new location “Living Room 2”. Now neither speaker talks to each other to create surround sound. How do I move the speaker to the “Living Room” zone and then reset both so they create surround sound. I tried unplugging and rebooting the speaker however every time I attempt to drop it in the existing “Living Room” grouping it goes back into “Living Room 2”. I tried several times and am toast.
