I have upgraded my broadband with a new router provided by Vodafone. I had to reconnect my Sonos system to the new configuration/wifi name. Majority of Sonos connected without any issues, mini sub and two play ones used as surrounds are proving to be as stubborn as it’s possible to be.
The play ones can be added as normal to the surround option and then after 15 seconds become disconnected and have to be factory reset in order get them to connect to the system again.
Same with the Sub only it says it’s been “added to my system but might not show up, if so unplug and plug in and continue in settings” needless to say this does nothing, it doesn’t show and is not connected. The sub will connect only if I connect direct to the router with a cable but as soon as the cable is removed the sub disconnects. I’m going round and round in circles and getting absolutely nowhere. The sound bar for my set up is a Sonos beam which is working fine.
I have factory reset everything a number of times, updated all components, reinstalled the Sonos app, restarted the router, connected all four items direct to the router, moved position of equipment, in fact I reckon I must have tried everything that has been suggested on here from others who have had similar issues. Anyone have any ideas what I can try next ? PLEASE….. HELP…..
