Radio France and its many substations (Musique → La Baroque is the one I used to listen to) is no longer reachable on my Sonos (S1). )   Any advice from other users?  Still comes in beautifully on my Imac via Google Chrome but unlike  my Sonos this is not connected to my stereo system.

Which streaming sources have you tried? Unfortunately, I’m not in France to test. Have you checked with the station you’re trying to stream, to see if they’ve changed streaming companies? Some of the content I listen to left TuneIn, but is available on iHeart Radio, there may be similar changes with Radio France.

Copyright owners and stations are forcing some rules. A station in one region may not want to pay Copyright fees to allow streaming to a listener in another region. With respect to commercial stations, why would a local restaurant want to pay a fee to send an advertisement to someone in another country? And there are arrangements where a station may stream through a service that brokers the fees. There can also be rule changes here too.

When a station changes its streaming arrangement, a user may need to delete and re-add the station in order to linkup with the new arrangement. Also, after a station changes its server setup it may take a few hours or days for a service, such as AUDACY to catch-up.
