Can any of the Sonos portable speakers work with the Ultra soundbar to create surround sound? Unfortunately I don’t have any available power sockets for fixed rear speakers.

Hi Everyone,i just picked up a Sonos ARC and i have a Samsung Qn90a which does has a earc port but this is breaking my head. I have Direct tv to a HDMI port on my tv & sonos ARC to my tv using earc port and i have really bad lip sync on the tv if i enable Dolby audio on direct tv box.  If I go from Direct to Sonos with Dolby audio enabled the lip sync is gone but I lose all audio from the internal apps on tv, disney, hulu, netflix and what not. If I use the 4K Arcana to use on my direct tv box can i still get audio from my internal apps on the tv? 

Hello, after few hours of research, I eventually came to the conclusion that google assistant is not supported today on Era100. - https://support.sonos.com/fr-be/article/set-up-the-google-assistant-with-a-voice-enabled-sonos-product this is really disapointting, I expected that feature set when buying the devices. Anyway, damage is done.I read somewhere that it is on the roadmap to support it, can you share any ETA? that would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance

Hi!(Sorry I meant Beam gen 2, but I think I can’t edit that anymore)I believe this feature was never there or added back somewhere middle of the 2024?Does it work today and does it support Dolby Atmos when watching movies?Also do you need iPhone to set it up or Android is also ok?One more thing - it doesn’t try to mimic your (limited) home setup, right? I mean if you don’t have height or rear speakers, then it’ll still to mimic 360 degrees? (As well as headphones physically can mimic that)

I changed my wifi & reset to factory settings to get my machines to work & now I can’t use my Alexa settings. She just ignores me & stays quiet. What should I do next? 

Vi har fået nye Sonos højtalere, Era 100 og Era 300. Vi har problemer med, at de “hopper” af systemet om natten. det vil sige, at når vi om morgen vi tænde for højtalerne om morgen, så er der ingenting i appen.hvad gør vi ? 

I added Sonos voice control since Alexa no longer worked to play live / terrestrial radio stations (which is what I’ve been doing for over 6 years!). is there a way for Sonos voice assistant NOT to yell “fantastic!” or “awesome!” in response to a command? or at least turn down the volume of those responses? It’s really annoying and disappointing, once again degrading Sonos user experience. Thanks. 

I am sure all our issues has been discussed before but a search for anything around ‘volume’, ‘controls’, ‘slider’ or ‘app’ comes back with 100’s of results.Our Sonos products:- 3 Play one- 1 Sub- Newest/Latest Sonos app (iOS) S2- Sonos multi room/group (2 rooms/groups with same music but different volumes)- Spotify Premium Family account - Superior glassfiber internet (1.000 Mb up/down)- Stable WiFi 6 router and access points (Fritzbox). Many smart devices, all working correctly.We tried a Sonos cable connection and WiFi connection. The Sonos cable connection is even worse. - Good WiFi reception on all Sonos speakers- Apple iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro to operate the Sonos app. We have been using Sonos for 8 years now. At the first 7 years we were very enthusiastic about it. The last 12 months we hardly ever use Sonos anymore. The app updates we had to suffer are absolutely horrible!!!! Downgrading is impossible… 😔Most of the time we listen to music via Sonos for 15 minutes or so and

I’m unable to connect to any Sonos devices in my house.  The console on my Mac gives the following errors:“### Ignoring device found without pairing ID: 61856318877894, 'Sonos Arc System'”, “APSAudioFormatDescriptionCreateWithCMFormatDescription:289: got error -6735/0xFFFFE5B1 kUnsupportedErr”,“ptpClock_GetSynchronizedNetworkTime:560: false condition”, “BAE [0x549B]  [0xA87D] ### APSNetworkClockConvertUpTicksToNetworkTime returned an error: -71974 for anchorTimeHostTime = 125263.270, anchorTimeHostTimeTicks = 3006318482364”,.The one that concerns me is the one about the pairing id.   Is anyone else getting that message?  It appears that the lack of a pairing id is what’s preventing any of my Sonos devices from receiving Airplay(2) streams. I have the streams set to ALAC, 24 bit, 48kHz, is that compatible with Arc?

Songs randomly change, mid-song, on Sirius XM, and change to another. It just happened again:  Led Zeppelin song was playing, stopped, and Stephen Still’s song starts playing, until its completion. I can’t discern a pattern, but it happens many times a day. Can’t determine if it’s Sirius XM or Amp. Anyone else experienced this? Thx

Sonos people...how can you exist as a brand, company, whatever? Really. Is it because of the marketing??How the f is possible that in 31 December 2024 to have the same issue with "need to login as system owner" error???? When this error was brought up by several customers for months already.How can you not give a single s**t about your products? Absolutely insane. What do you work? What exactly have sonos employees done for months, if today a user can encounter the same stupid error??? You products cost a hell lot of money...and after we receive the products we look like clowns trying to do BASIC AND SIMPLE things with your dumb products. Absolutely unbelievable.How the f can we get rid of this error? We tried everything. Unistalled the app, reinstall the app, reset the speakers. What the hell is going on? I just bought 2 Sonos amp to power 4 in wal speakers.  I set them up as surround sound so they unified into a single component. I ran a YouTube video test for 5.1 and front sounds work fine. However the rear sounds seem to be coming from my front speakers instead of my rear sr speakers. Am I missing something?

My connect was working. Then it stopped after I unplugged it to test a new amp. I tried to reset the connect by pressing the play/pause button while I power it on for a min. The light just stays white the whole time , it never flashes amber. Anything else I can try?

How do I set up Alexa thru Sonos ERA 300?

 Certain playlists I'm using from YouTube music seem to multiply once they get into Sonos for playing, as I go into the queue the playlist goes from 150 songs to 33,000 songs. It's just multiplying the playlist over and over again. This is causing issues with the same songs playing repeatedly. I've tried changing the playlist in YouTube music, I've tried disconnecting from YouTube music and reconnecting, I've tried deleting the queue and trying again, and nothing works.  Please help  Thanks 

Is anybody else observed the quality of the Ace case is poor and the zip design allows it to stick ? I fear the case material also won’t last , is there an improved case planned ? The case also marks easily.

Hi, I’ve connected my Sonos Arc Ultra to my LG G4 via HDMI, which acts as my receiver speakers. I’ve also set up a complete Sonos system using the Sonos app, including the Arc Ultra, Sub 4, and two Era 300s. Here are the issues I’m facing:1. The full Sonos setup (Arc Ultra, Sub 4, and Era 300s) frequently disconnects when used as temporary audio.2. When both the Arc Ultra as receiver speakers and the Sonos home theater setup are connected, I can’t control the volume with the Apple TV remote. What’s the best setup and approach to resolve these issues?

We recently bought a house that has an old speaker system built into it with approximately 10-12 speakers scattered throughout the home in the ceiling. All the wires come together at a central location with each individual speaker associated with an individual coaxial cable (1841A 2.25 ghz). The old owner took the old speaker system with them so I am unsure what the previous existing speaker system was. Is there a Sonos product that can adapt/connect to a old system like this or any product recommendations for something like this? Something that can connect 10+ ports or an adapter for those cables? Can you control the volume on the ERA Surround sound speakers separately from the RAY

The software is impossible for me to understand.  I tried to add this new speaker to the Group of whatever it is supposed to be.  I just want to listen to music and not spend hours navigating crap software.  I think I have spent more time messing around with the app than I have listened to the actual speakers play sound.  How hard can it be to simplify the software.  I think go back to the way it originally was when you guys first started this dog s*** company.Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

I have a Sonos one, Play 3 and Move and up until recently I could connect all 3 devices on my ipad and play them independently but now the One and Play 3 can only be seen on my ipad if they are hard wired into the router.I have tried to add them by bluetooth but neither can be seen when searching unless they are hard wired in.Any idea how I can get them back on the ipad without being hard wired in?

how do i use my ipad mini music library as a source for my sonos system?

iPhone app no control.  Can join system and see all devices. Sometimes get a message “unable to control system” web browser does control systemsame symptoms on two iPhones - both were working. Neither are company owned.  Pressing play button on any speaker will start the last source.   Lucky for me I like BBC 6music so at least I have some music. Buying five  Sonos devices to get a single Digital radio station is hardly a good deal   ACTION so far have deleted (latest) iPhone apprebooted iPhone left WiFi network and re-joined   NEXT actionrevert to S1 app? Feels like a huge effort to reset all five devices   

Is there any chance the turntable can play on speakers without the line-in adapter? Right now I have the Pro ject T1 SB with Era 100, and I got no problems.. but can it Connect to my other sonos speakers? I have 3 x era 100 and Ray with a subwoofer. Can I play on them all or is it locked on the one speaker I have cables from the turntable?  please help, :)
