Hi I have moved into  a new house, which has speakers in all the rooms all wired up and ready to go.  If i buy a Sonos Bridge, will this enable me to stream my music from apple?  i realise it would be the sqame music in every room.  Do i need to buy anything else to get up and running? Thank you.

Hi,After upgrading the SONOS system to 16.4.4 (81.1-58120) I experiance massive problems related to my Sonos Roams Gen1.I have in total 3 Roams, 2 of them Gen1 and the last Gen2.However when one or both of the my Roam Gen1 are turned on the SONOS system gets very unstable or resposive.Problems experiance is that im not able to join/unjoin or control any groups in the entire SONOS system.Volume or play/pause is simply just giving me errors or just returning to the position it already was.Also the Roam Gen1 have worked flawless on 80.1, but now in the About Sonos System the Roam Gen1 does exist in the list but Version: <Number> (build 81.1-58210) and not showing the version 16.4.4 as it did until yesterday. So something is wrong, I have ofcause restartet the entire system, wireless and so on.But the problem seems to be related solely to these Roams after upgrade, and maybe when they are the Controller connected ones. Hello. Can you get the sound from the TV to the Sonos speakers via WIFI?

Hey, folks.I just bought two Era 100s and set them up out of the box. The issue I’m having is that when I use the physical volume slider on one of the devices, the volume will frequently jump to 0.In other words, If I give it a good swipe, the volume will rise, suddenly jump to 0, and then continue rising to finish processing the swipe. For example, it might start at 17, go up to 39, suddenly jump to 0, and end on 6. It’s completely random when this happens; it’s not consistent in terms of volume or speed of swiping. If I keep swiping up, the volume gets up to anywhere between 10 and 60 before inevitably starting over from 0.Max volume is off, and I’ve also tried rebooting devices, wifi, and app. This behavior doesn’t happen on my paired Era 100; if I do the same, it rises as expected until it blows my ears out at 100.Any ideas on what the issue is? 

Hi all! I’m having some issues with connectivity since the last two updates, system is:play:1 Arc SubI had an Asus xt8 running in AP mode for years, everything was working fine since I got the system setup.I have around 20 wireless clients that are not experiencing issues on wifi, I have now changed the AP to a different vendor but the same issues persist with Sonos being the only devices that are having issues. Now the arc and sub are dropping out, but play:1 is connected.Whenever trying to play something from the Sonos app, it just doesn’t work, it says it starts playing but nothing happens then the devices drop out of the app to just suddenly reappear.I only have two neighbouring SSIDs at channel 11, so I’ve tried channel 1-6 for the wifi, I’ve tried creating an ssid without wpa2, 2.4Ghz only, factory resetting everything then rejoining the devices to the new SSID I’ve created. But nothing seems to help, both arc and sub are disconnecting from the app frequently and AirPlay is not w

In an effort to get Music Library working the way it seems to for other people, i decided to remove and re-install he app rather than upgrade.  I removed the apps from my iPhone and iPad, and laptop and lest it “rest” for a few days before installing.   When I installed the new app I was surprised to see it knew where my library was (on my local NAS). How?  And how can I remove it so that I can truly reset it with nothing hanging over into the new installation?

Im trying to use a cable with stereo connector on one end and optical on the other to connect my Sonos 5 to my LG TV

 Has anyone been able to successfully redeem a frontline worker / military discount code? None of the codes appear to work. This functionality seems to be broken for quite some time. I also noticed that older codes that worked were in the format of MIL15-XXXXXXXXXX but are now MIL25-XXXXXXXXXX. It’s a 15% discount. Maybe that’s the issue? 

I have a setup which includes a stereo pair of Play:1’s (“TV Room”), a Play:3 (“Foyer”) connected via ethernet to a Google Nest wifi point, and a Play:5 (“Kitchen”). I can play an album from YouTube Music across all devices, but *not* one that I’ve uploaded to YouTube Music. I’m actually unable to even search across YouTube Music “Library” in the Sonos app when connected to that Kitchen device (I can find the album in the desktop Sonos app, and play it from there). The Play:5 shows up in the app, and I can adjust it (toggle the status light, raise or lower the volume on the device or in the app) but it does not play any audio when I try to play an album that I’ve uploaded to YTM. Here is the Network Matrix from the debug menu at http://192.168.86.210:1400/support/review Any ideas what’s going on?

Continuing problems with Sonos For a number of weeks now the software on my laptop is showing as an update available but repeated efforts just show ‘The Sonos controller failed to install. The rest of the update cannot continue’I’m becoming increasingly frustrated after spending a small fortune on Sonos speakers, subs etc. Any help would be appreciated. 

Since the new Sonos app update ( May’24) I can longer play all “top tracks” from an artist search on tidal. It will only play one song. The same goes for artist radio on tidal it will only play the first song you pick. Previos Sonos app would automatically play each song one after the other. This is something I use all the time. I opened this same complaint back in May/June and there has still not been a fix or an answer other than a workaround to cast from inside of tidal. Unfortunately that work around does not always work.  How hard is it to fix artist radio to play as a queue instead of just the first song???

Sonos move 1 not working. All lights are off, it’s playing with a bass sound, tried factory reset and now not working at all. Help please  it’s been a brilliant speaker up until now 

Hi, after finally setting up my new Beam 2 using the Sonos app on a Samsung S24 (painful to say the least) I sat down to enjoy a few Atmos movies.All seems reasonably OK but I’m not overly happy about two things:The loudness variation between different apps (Disney, Netflix, Amazon, Apple etc) is massive when switching from one app to another or between apps and terrestrial sources; We’re forever having to amend the volume settings. Is there anyway to maintain the same sound level no matter what the source? Similarly, when watching a movie we experience silent lows where we can hardly hear what anyone is saying to incredible highs where we have to turn down the volume. The variance is massive and results in almost non-stop volume alterations.Are these common issues with Sonos soundbars? I can’t see any setting in the app that maintains a level volume setting and the Samsung TV’s volume management setting is disabled as it expects the sound source to manage this.

When using the Sonos app almost every time I open it I look at system settting and it will tell me some of my speakers (my paired 5’s) are on a “different network”. We only have one network at home. So then I have to close and reopen the app a number of times and eventually after a seemingly random and always different period  the 5’s will show up on the network. But only one will play. Eventally the other one will kick in..maybe 3 or 4  minutes later. There are a multitude of other issues that also prevent me just playing music on my multiple Sonos components as and when I want. It’s always a hassle and has ruined a number of evenings where we have guests and I’m fiddling around trying to get Sonos to work. Invariably these guests decide Sonos is not for them.Tried calling the support line but I’m not willing to sit on hold for 40 plus minutes.I think I am at the stage of putting the whole system up for sale. I can’t seem to get this lousy app to work on my iPhone 18.1. Always ask me to set up my network time after time. I’ve been using the Orto app to run my system.  I also use my older iPad to run the system. In this day and age, why can’t a company like Sonos not get this right? I will never recommend Sonos to anyone ever again. Hello Bose. 

“Sign in as the System Owner to see context”. A minor annoyance but the old App was still better.   This happens every morning with the new App.  Sonos, go back to the drawing board! 

I’ve currently got a beam bar and the cracking/popping is driving me nuts. It only happens on certain programs/apps.  When the surround speakers work they isn’t no cracking/popping but soon as it’s just the beam bar working on its own the crackling starts. It’s fine when steaming Spotify etc. any ideas how to stop it cracking? Current using a Panasonic TV. 

Hi all. I’ve recently purchased era 300s coming from Sonos ones used as rear speakers for ARC ultra. Yes they are great with Atmos content but I had much better sound coming from ones with other content, can there be option so we can use the 300s in different sound modes so a correct sound output, full sound coming out of all speakers (centre speaker) as well so it’s all up mixed. Just  think there should be more configurations for the era 300s. 

HII’m experiencing a new issue today, The Now Playing screen is taking a long time to show the song which is currently playing.  Instead, it is showing the previous song, with that song’s progress bar at 100%. Eventually (up to a minute later), it catches up with itself.This used to happen when the new app was released, but it settled down. Now it has returned.If it helps, I’m listening to the Flow function on Deezer.

My husband ran off and left me with a Sonos system . Unfortunately he appears to have bought lots and installed them all over the place so I’ve got a system that refers to his other partners houses. I’m struggling to get even Alexa to work as I also got the Sonos voice thing to work. I think I’ve worked out which bits are for here and other places but how do I get voice control to work do I just use one ?Also nothing is coming up about connecting to media so whilst I can get things to play  from the app I can no longer get Alexa to work . Do I need to get an Alexa premium account as well as Apple to play music?Thankyou for any advice . 

I have 5 Connect Amps, all compatible with S2 app.  Unfortunately S2 app sucks, especially for My Music Library.  I would like to use the S1 app for My Music, and the S2 for streaming over the same 5 amps.  Is this possible?

I’ve been talking to different customer service reps at Sonos for the last three hours to try to figure out two things: Why, after working fine in May and June, TV audio skips (like record scratches) when I group my Ray to my Roam SL and/or my Era 100; and why, when playing audio via Bluetooth through either the Era 100 or the Roam SL, the audio starts to skip once any other speaker (or both other speakers) are connected to it. I was told that using other speakers (not subs or surround speakers) to simply play TV audio in other rooms is “unsupported,” period (even though on this forum, there are multiple examples of people getting that to work within the last year!); and I was told that sharing Bluetooth audio in this way was also “unsupported,” but that this was one of the app update issues, and that it should be reinstated in the app soon (when? lol who knows). For the TV audio, delaying the audio by a lot cleared the problem up entirely, I have no idea why the rep didn’t just sugges

I am unable to Connect again to Sonos App. Yet again this premium system has failed. We have 3 Play1 and a Beam but myself and my wife cannot control any device from our IPhones.For all the updates, this company still cannot provide a reliable app. I also have an Echo which never fails. 

Hi Everyone,  I recently received my Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB and Sonos Five, and I’m super excited about them! I ordered both items separately, as well as an RCA to 3.5mm adapter from Amazon, just in case. Some people say it might be included in the SB, while others say it’s not. It turns out that it wasn’t included. I set everything up and was ready to play my first vinyl, but I’m getting a continuous deep buzz through the speaker. I can hear the music, but the buzz is still there, and it’s at all volumes. I’m using the supplied RCA cables with ground tabs on both ends; however, one of the ground tabs is in free air as I’m using the RCA - 3.5mm adapter. I’ve moved the positions and distances between the T1 and the speaker, as well as moved rooms and turned off other devices. But nothing seems to make a difference. I did notice that when I move the tone arm, the buzz does seem to change slightly. Touching it alone doesn’t make a difference, but when it’s moved, it does seem to change, but
