I have a Play:1 below in the Kitchen where I can listen to the news, which is coming from the Roku Ultra to the Beam.

I had the Play 1 on wifi - it is setting near the Orbis extender.  It drops out now and then for a few seconds while the Beam continues to play.  (I’m close enought to hear that Beam is still working.)

The Orbis extender is connect via wifi to the router.

I’m testing connecting the Play 1 to the extender with an ethernet cable.

Is that going to cause issues?

It will switch your Sonos to Sonosnet with the connected speaker being the gateway, n9t what you want.

Try moving the p.ay 1 3 feet from the extender.

Try powering down the extender. Extenders are often problems.

So - proximity to Orbis is the issue?

I’ll unplug the ethernet cable and move them apart.

Thanks
