Just purchased Starlink Gen 3 and my Sonos (Player 1) will not connect (cannot be detected).  I am not tech savvy and I am looking for help with an explanation in non tech language if possible.  I have used TP-link router prior to Starlink for my other internet service.  Can my Sonos system be “found” using Starlink network somehow?  Thank you for any help, step by step is best.

Hi all.I am running a Jellyfin server with DLNA plugins installed and running for my home audio content. I the Jellyfin server correctly identifies all 7 of my Sonos products, yet my Sonos S2 app doesn’t ‘see’ anything from Jellyfin at all.It is my understanding that there used to be some UPNP and DLNA on and off switch somewhere within the app - that I cannot find on my latest android Sonos app.Can somebody please tell me where this is?!

Hi everyone, so today I noticed that my whole setup was stuck at 15 in volume. What I mean is that every time I turned the volume up or down, it would change on its own and go back to 15. After resetting, unpairing, etc., I found out that one of my Era 100s was causing the issue. It’s also started to sound very bad, like only the treble is working. Has anyone had a similar experience? What did you do, and do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi,I have a question I have a Sonos Arc in the living room and a Sonos Beam in another room; now the first one is showed in my router with ip address but the second (Beam) is not showed.The soundbar it seems to work but, even rebooting the router, it is not showing in the router address table.Can you please advise why this happens?Thank you

My wife and I both have Apple phones. We can’t seem to both be logged into the Sonos app to control the system— I was logged in, but she wasn’t, and when she logged in and connected to the system, then I couldn’t get in anymore. We’re both logged in through the same email and password. Is this a common problem? Is there a solution?

I have a Sonos Beam Gen.2 hooked to an LG TV and I use an nVidia TV Shield Pro for streaming. Everything works perfectly when I’m watching regular TV or playing on the Playstation 5. I can see in the Sonos mobile app various TV channels operating in Dolby Digital 2.0 or Dolby Digital 5.1. On the PS5 the sound is DTS Surround 5.1. Both TV and Playstation sound work flawlessly. The problem starts when I watch Netflix, Prime Video or Plex from the nVidia TV Shield. Occasionally, about once or twice per hour, the sound just stops working out of the blue while the video keeps running. The temporary fix I found is to cycle the sound output of the TV back to internal TV speakers, then after 1 sec of sound on speakers, the TV switches automatically back to Audio Out (Optical/HDMI ARC) and, magically, the Beam sound works again. I have been using ROAM. I haven't used it for a while, but when I tried to connect to bluetooth I couldn't.I have reset the roam to factory settings and initialized the apps, but I can't connect to Wi-Fi before I set it up. How can I get it to work?

Hello All, My system consists of a Sony 65’ A95L, A Sonos ARC 1st Gen, 2x Era 300s, and a Sub Gen 3. The ARC is mounted with my TV on a Sanus Extendable Wall Mount for Arc.Latley iv been looking at upgrading to the Arc Ultra, I already know that yes this mount will work for the Arc Ultra but this is not why I’m here today.So I found this video on YouTube: In the video he talks about how the Sonos Wall mounts Have magnets in them to tell the Sonos ARC that it is mounted.  Then I stummbled on this old Sonos Community thread from a while back without a real answer if this Sanus ARC Mount had the magnets that told the soundbar it was mounted or not.A user by the name Mark P said “I'll submit a feature request to our development team. I just received arc ultra, to swap over from my arc setup with gen 2 sub and gen 3 sub. I have been on phone to Sonos for 1½ hours. They have said gen2 sub and gen3 sub won’t work as my old setup. I need to replace my sub gen 2.ti gen 3 or gen 4.

I had my system for several years.  Has been working fine.  I had to replace my router and had to reset all speakers except Move and player 5.  These works fine not in the surround sound system of Sonos.  After resetting and installing play bar, sub and two rear speakers, 2 player 3s, now only sound comes from the playbar but none of the other speakers: 2 player 3 and sub. They are connected to a tv which was not changed.any ideas I can try?

My app hasn’t been working the last few days.can’t start music. Once playing can’t stop itnothing is working this morning only me?

I have a Beam gen 2 and 2 One speakers. I used to configure them as a surround system, Beam connected to my TV via HDMI ARC.Then I found the two Ones are mostly idle as I don't play enough surround-sound content. So I recently removed the surround setup, and grouped the speakers, hoping to listen to the same sounds from different speakers, immersive in a different way. I found a way in the Sonos app to configure the TV output to all speakers there, which is great.The problem is when I change the volume on my AppleTV remote control, only the volume of the Beam got changed, Ones' volume stay the same unless I use the touch buttons on the speakers or use the app. Is there any way to sync the volume control across all speakers?

how long does it take for an empty (no speaker listed) room to drop off the “your system/manage list” of rooms? thanks  

I have a Playbar and a Play:1.If I add another play:1 and a Sub will it work fine as a hifi syatem? Please suggest what combination of the old sonos can I do to have a better hifi music system starting from my set up. Also, is it possible to purchase the old speakers? I have a Sonos Port, with firmware updated to latest.It is being used to play songs stored on a Synology NAS.I use the Android version of the Sonos app; it is updated to latest.Recently -- maybe with the last firmware update -- songs played from the local library have about a 50% probability of cutting off partway through playback, after which the music resumes at the next song in the playlist.Wifi signal is consistently showing “Fair -- 35 dB”Any thoughts?  Anybody else seeing this?  Is this a firmware problem, or could it be my own issue somehow?

Good morning allI have I’ve recently purchased Sonos Arc, mini sub and Ikea Symfonisk (2 speakers). (I have connected all speakers in TV room setup along with surround sounds) I have connected the Sonos Arc with Ethernet cable and others  through Home wife. I have two WiFi routers placed side by side and I have only connected Sonos to 2.4 ghz my question is if I turn off the surround by mistake why does it take so much time to get connected to the system again? (Sonos app is also very slow in responding, I’ve to close the app numerous times and open it.) Does have having two routers create any interference? since buying the Sonos I enjoy the sound but it’s a nightmare when someone in home turns off the Sonos speakers by mistake and I cannot connect it back that easily.  I will be obliged if someone can help in addressing the problem, so that I can find where am I wrong.
