Hi everyone,I was looking for a related issue here but couldn’t find anything.I recently purchased a Sonos Beam Gen. 2 and a Sonos Sub Mini, which I wanted to connect to my TV.After setting up the Beam Gen. 2, I added the Sub Mini, and everything worked perfectly fine in terms of sound quality. I received a deep, very rich bass and was super impressed.However, after unplugging the Sub to do some cable management and then reconnecting it, the Sub failed to deliver the strong bass it had just 10 minutes earlier. I could barely notice a difference in sound whether the Sub was on or off when playing music through the Beam. I tested with Techno and Rock via Spotify over WiFi, so there should have been plenty of bass. Additionally, I tried it with my PS5 and the actual TV, which is connected to the Beam via eARC.The Sub is technically working, as I can hear a very faint bass if I put my ear right next to it.My Sub Mini is positioned in the corner of a 20 sqm room, with about 20 cm of space f

I realise everyone hates the app and the Sonos team are obviously having a total nightmare managing the situation, and I’ve tried to resist piling on, and have bought multiple 3rd party apps and tried workarounds, but I’ve really just had enough of trying to use this system and really want to chuck it all in the bin.  The UX on this app is just so appalling in every way. It’s SO slow and laggy. Sometimes you can make it start okay, others you can’t. You want a tune. You want the 6 o clock news at 6. But it just does nothing. You wait. 30 seconds… and then. . . You just give up and use your phone speaker! Sometimes the volume works, other times it doesn’t. It’s so unintuitive as to which room is active. Why can’t I see the actual radio stations I want in a list on the home page? Why is there no hierarchy among the favourites? Why do none of the playlists work? Why do you prioritise the junk Sonos streams as if they’re real stations? Why can’t I manually control the viewing order of stat

My sonos arc routinely will drop sinal/sound. When watching TV, it will routinely drop the sound and go silent. After a few seconds of silence, my TV then reverts back to TV sound while the Sonos arc will flash white and then reboot itself and eventually return. The whole process takes about a min to reboot and is very annoying when watching a show with dialogue or a game. When I pair the arc with my Move to listen to music, it will routinely unpair and leave the move as the only device playing or derail the whole system, shut the music off and make me go back into the app to restart the music. Doubly annoying when I’m listening to a playlist and essentially have to reshuffle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There have been no network changes since I installed this about a year ago.

I have a Playbar on Wifi in a room with speakers mounted to the wall. Those speakers are connected to an AMP (not Connect:AMP) in another room across the house. I want those speakers to act as a surround to my Playbar.The playbar works just fine on wifi. I have also installed the AMP on WiFi and can play music through those speakers just fine as standalone. However, when I then go into the Playbar and try to "Add Surrounds", the AMP gets kicked off WiFi and doesn't reconnectg. The 'add surround' process seems to go without any errors popping up. But afterwards, I can see that the old standalone AMP is still on the "System Settings" page with a status of disconnected. The Playbar shows that it has surrounds, but those surrounds are listed as missing. Nothing plays on the AMP speakers. I have to factory reset the AMP, then can reconnect, but have tried this sequence a few times with no different outcome. Bonjour, J'ai dans mon salon, 2 play 1, 1 play bar et 1 sub, lorsque j'écoute de la musique, il arrive que le son se coupe un court instant et revienne,  ça le fait plusieurs fois, phénomène que je n'ai pas avec le son de la TV.Ma maison est équipé dans toutes les pièces d'enceintes sonos et je n'ai pas ce soucis sur celles-ci. J'ai déjà changé de routeur et j'ai toujours le même problème Une aide svp.Merci. 

Speakers work fine from tv. It’s not showing up in the app. But everything works. 

I've just bought a Beam, a Sub Mini and two Era 100s. The two Era 100s are configured as the Beam's surround and it works fine. But I also want to listen to music only on the Era 100s in stereo (without using the Beam). No matter how hard I look, I can't find a way to create a second configuration that allows me to do this. Do I need to create a second room in the application? Or should I link the two Era 100s in Bluethooth? I'm at a loss.   Thanks for your help.

I have a pair of Sonos ERA 300 speakers, they are grouped, and I have a turntable connected to one of the speakers using the Sonos adapter (USB-C/Jack). However, the sound from the turntable only plays on one speaker. Is this normal?

Haven’t used my extra Sonos one speaker in a while and now find that I no longer have TV as a source on my app? What gives? This new app really stinks! 

I have recently bought a new Play 5 Gen 2 and was going to sell my Gen 1 on Ebay as it would be a shame for it to go to waste. However, I am struggling to get it to connect to the V1 Controller either via Wifi or via an Ethernet Cable. I have tried my phone and MacBook.The Play 5 Gen 1 just gives the usual “Cannot find any products” so I cant be sure its working properly.When I connected the Gen 2 it connected first time with no issues albeit thats on the newer controller version, etc.Any suggestions welcome as to how I can get the Play 5 Gen 1 connected just to make sure its working ok before I put it up for sale. I connected my Port to a Pioneer receiver that is set to - 40db as a start up volume. This because I don't want to shake the hole house when I start the TV for the morning. If I turn the volume up and later switch from Port to TV it will be very Loud if I don't lower the volume first. The problem is that if I set line out to variable it is too low volume to match the other Sonos speakers. Sonos volume set to 18 means that I have to set port at 100. Then I can't rise the volume more.If I set to fixed, it is too loud at - 40db and I also want to adjust the volume from the app so variable would be the best option. It would be nice to be able to adjust the baseline input level for the variable and then save the setting. In that case I can adjust the volume to match the Sonos speakers and then the volume will be equal for both speakers and Port. 

So far as I can tell, it is still impossible to add an album from Idagio to the Sonos queue.   Will this be fixed any time soon?  Classical/opera streaming doesn't really work if you have to add dozens of separate tracks to a queue in order to hear the entire piece.  

Hi - have lots of existing Sonos kit bought 2012 - 2015. Have been managing to use with S1 controller, but about to modernise a little by purchasing a couple of Era100’s (the Bluetooth and LineIn features appeal).According to the Sonos support page, I should be able to use the Era100’s and the newer Sonos app with my Play:1, Play:3 and Boost kit (as they say these support both newer Sonos app and the S1 app).Are they correct?Incidentally, I have always relied on the SonosNet for connectivity (first with Bridge, then with Boost) and connectivity has been excellent, no dropouts.The website says that the Era100 can only either use cabled Ethernet or domestic WiFi - how would this play with the rest of the (older) Sonos kit using SonosNet via the Boost? Or does having the Era100 in this setup mean that SonosNet is a no-no, and everything would be reliant on domestic WiFi?Thanks.

I’ve had a Sonos system running off of a cheap LG NAS since 2011. It works fine, although I use EoP devices and lock the system off from updates and the internet. Now using S1 software.Due to a system crash on a Synology NAS, I rebuilt it to take over the sonos side of things from the LG NAS, as that was starting to demonstrate a few file corruptions. I also installed another newer Synology NAS.The Synology is running DSM 7.x fine, and all shares are available via the network. It also works OK casting using Hi-Fi Cast to a CCA via the line-in on a Play5. However, it consistently fails with an error 1001 when trying to add a library link.Knowing that v7.x made changes to smb access, I downgraded it to smbv1 and checked the NTLMv1 box. It is using the correct permissions and group and also allows smb access to the sonos folder.I also followed a forum users text to include extra text in the smb.conf file, which should have helped.I have been trying to track down the percieved problem with

Updated Sonos app with the most recent update and since then it has just not worked. Every single time I go to use it I have to update network. Everything has been switched off and back on MANY times. It’s so frustrating. 

I have tried everything to get this soundbar to appear on the Sonos app but it says it connects but it won’t appear on my phone. I’ve tried joint existing product, looking for new, factory restarting the thing and even contacted my ISP to see if my firmware is up to date and still nothing. Literally any help at all will be appreciated!

I go through the app and the setup works but when I open my system it keeps giving me an error that the sub is not connected. I’ve tried the hard reset and everything and no dice. 

My system says ‘access to Apple Music has expired.  My Apple Music has not expired .  Sonos not working again- big surprise.I thought I would delete app from my app screen , now I can’t find it in order to fully delete it 

After the upgrade of my Sonos One speakers to the newest firmware I have noticed that the Alexa Volume now is irrelevant from the Sonos actual volume. Even If I mute my Sonos One volume,  Alexa can still be heard from the speakers. In addition, when I change the volume of the speakers again Alexa volume does not change. Is something changed, or is this a bug?

Hi everyone,I recently changed my home Wi-Fi router, and ever since, my Sonos system won’t connect. I’ve tried resetting the router and reconnecting through the Sonos app, but it keeps saying it can’t find the system. I’ve also ensured my phone is on the same network.Does anyone know the best way to get the speakers to reconnect? Should I factory reset them or is there a simpler fix?Thanks in advance for any tips!

Just installed the new app. But I can’t find where the music library went. Also no option to add a folder to the library  Moderator edit: We have an article with instruction on how to add a music library share on Windows and MacOS. Have a look. 

You guys gonna start a subscription service? I was just thinking of how you guys could be worse of a company than you've already declined. Also, let me be clear: I have no anger towards the staff, or customer support, I am aggravated by the direction whoever has made decisions in the future of your apps which are so frustrating to deal with.

Recent purchase. Unable to get sound to Beam and there's no menu option to add the Beam as an external speaker. I'm using the eArc input 

I have had the beam for several years. There has been issues with the app connecting in the past but it fixes it self and reconnects. This time it is not reconnected. Everything thing in my home is connected as usual except my speaker that was perfect and working until I woke up. All of a sudden the app does not show my speaker or function to adjust settings.  I have tried everything ever forum every trouble shooting technique.  Still not connecting .  It set up as new speaker after factory reset and it completed the entire process and still does not show on the app like it normally does. Disappointing.  

My music library has disappeared and it will not reconnect.  Have made sure it is on SMB3 and it worked up until a week ago.  When trying to add it says it is unable to connect.  All the pathway and user name and password are correct.  What am I missing?
