The remote uses combination of Bluetooth and IR. I disabled Bluetooth on the TV, then verified remote was using IR by placing my hand in front of the remote to block signal, then removed my hand for successful use, then ran Sonos set up, remote using IR would not connect. Was prompted to press volume up three times, nothing connected. Thanks for your help!

Kylo, I have experienced the exact same issues as you for over a year now. I have contacted sonos support as well and ultimately have yet to get a resolution or update as I verified IR use over BT. The app just doesn’t recognize this TV and remote combo and I am unsure why Sonos can’t just add it to the application as MANY users have the same issue.

An easy way to test your remote for an IR signal is to hold it in front of your phone camera and press a button. The camera pics up IR and you should see it flash, so I can verify IR signal on remote.
