Hello, A few weeks ago my Sonos Roam reset and subsequently lost connection to Alexa. I've tried reconnecting it via the Sonos App and when I follow the steps and choose Alexa, it attempts to login to the app but all I get is the spinning wheel.Eventually it says try again or cancel. I've deregistered it on the Alexa app and still I'm facing issues. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciatedMatt

I am no doubt overthinking this. Was watching Final Level on Amazon Prime through both Apple TV app and internal TV app (Hisense U7K).The sound was very poor but, having watched it through internal TV speakers too, it seems like a mix issue.However, in trying to figure out what was wrong I moved close to the Arc and ran my ears along it. There is sound from the centre and from each end. To the right of the centre the bass section produces sound.However, there is a dead spot of about 6 inches to the left of centre. Looking at the exploded diagram it seems that this is actually a dead spot (at least front facing) but can anyone confirm that no considerable sound comes from that section before I attempt resolution? It all still sounds fine, balanced etc, just wanted to confirm.

Why is it not possible to search for a song? When I look i can see the album cover: a scrub bar: a volume bar and other items- but no search- the old app let you search for a new song whilst listening to a tune... I have to back out of the screen 2 times to search... terrible... and the lag! Terrible 

Issue​​​​​​​The Sonos app has repeatedly been unable to find my new Era 100 speakers after using Spotify Connect. I would then have to reboot the speakers. This wasn’t an issue with my Sonos Ones. It could be a coincidence with the new app architecture? Not sure if this is an app or speaker issue. How to reproduce the issueHave Sonos speakers already set up in the Sonos app and connected/appearing. Go to Spotify and tap Spotify Connect Select relevant speakers Play music for a few minutes Check Sonos app and see its working Pause music and leave it for a few hours - Spotify Connect should auto disconnect from the speakers Go back and attempt to use Spotify Connect to connect to the same speakers, at this point the speakers have disappeared. I'm unapologetically repeating this topic because the answer 6 months ago was to wait for app updates. Surely 6 months is long enough to wait for basic functionality to be restored so can we at least have a forecast when we'll get it back please?POV: It's a well known adage in software development that you should never throw it all away and start again because you'll spend years getting back to where you were and rediscovering why each weird bit of code worked the way it did. Having trouble cousins sub gen 4…do not get “highlighted” area on side and I’ve tried entering the number on the bottom and the sub is not connecting 

I purchased a Sonos Beam (Gen2) with a Sub Mini, it worked fine for the first few weeks and then the volume rocker stopped working from my remote. I went back to the store (Best Buy) & exchanged the Beam for the Arc.Same issue prevails.My Sonos is plugged into the E-Arc HDMIEverything else works with the remote, just the volume is the problem. I was told that if Sonos pushed a new firmware update that will resolve my volume issue & it will start working again, is that really true?Would love to get an expert from Sonos to respond to this 

I just ran the updater (desperate to solve the big problems that started awhile ago). It got to “Updating Controller: Installing” and the progress bar is 100%. But nothing more has happened for ca. 30 min. Could it be stuck? Absent any feedback from the installer, I’m getting tired of waiting.

New app created some issues but system would still function.  Installed a new WiFi router with new network name and now only my pair of Sonos Ones will connect.  My Sonos 5 will not and my older Sonos speakers will not.

I purchased a Beam Gen 2 last week. After a bit of messing around I got it successfully connected via the ARC HDMI connection (not eARC - my TV doesn’t have that). But since then it keeps dropped out and then reconnecting. I have tried disconnecting everything and powering off and going through setup again. It will then work for 30 mins or so then drop off. TV shows the message TV Speakers Active and the Beam is no longer visible in External Devices in the Bravia Sync section. If I try to reconnect via the Sonos app I get the message that something is interfering with the connection, unplug all home theatre equipment. I don’t have any other home theatre equipment and I have even tried unplugging my DVD player so the Beam is the only connection, but still get this issue. If I do nothing and just leave the TV on the internal speakers, the Beam reconnects after 20 mins or so then disconnects a little later.TV and Beam are fully updated, I’m using the supplied Sonos HDMI cable. Any suggest

I have a full Sonos system in a large house, but now also own a small condo.  I want to move one Sonos 5 speaker to that condo, effectively creating a new system.  But the app isn’t finding the speaker on the condo’s WiFi.  What do I do?

Beam not playing. It is connected to wifi, but cannot be found either through Spotify or Sonos app. However, when I ask Alexa to play Spotify it works???? But still doesn’t show in app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled updated app. My play 5 is working fine. Not sure what else to do. Thanks

I just got an LG OLED48B49LA and since the internal speakers are really bad, I would like to use my two Sonos Five Speakers with it.This used to work fine with the old TV (plus Apple TV) I had before, as it had a chinch output, so I could connect the TV to the Five speaker through 3,5mm and could control the volume with the Apple TV remote.The new TV does not have that, it only has optical and HDMI Arc.I bought an Optical-Chinch Adapter, which works fine but obviously I can’t control the volume of the speakers with the LG TV remote.This is my question: what options do I have to be able to control the volume of my speakers with the TV remote?Any adapters, any other products to buy that aren’t too expensive? I would like to avoid buying a Sonos Arc for now. Thanks for taking time, I really appreciate it.

Why is the Sonos App so slow to do anything. ?For a reputable company I’m dumbfounded, this is hands down the most frustrating app I’ve ever used. It has been like this since they changed it, why hasn’t it been fixed ?My Sonos speakers are just wireless speakers for my Spotify now (an app that does exactly what it’s supposed too with no issues), I never use the Sonos app anymore, only to group my speakers, which once again it won’t bloody do, Hense why I am writing this. Nothing in my life frustrates me more than this app 🤬🤬🤬

I’ve had a white blinking light on Sonos Beam for several days. I have followed reset (but no orange blink), I have connected to ethernet, no change. I worked through tech support for a while but after some time I was told the product is defective. It is only 2 years old and I’m just checking to see if anyone knows any other procedures that might save it. 

So I have had a Sonos ray for around a year now no complaints at all however it has decided to disappear off my Sonos app and I have tried everything to get it back. Eventually I had to factory reset it and now I have been greeted by error code 1000 in with I feel like I have tried everything and it won’t work. Please help meeeee

My system seems to experience issues fetching information from Sonos servers. But is this because of the new router or could it be that there are/have been intermittent issues at Sonos end this weekend? Details:I’ve been using a new Asus RT-AX59U router since yesterday 7.12.2024 1 pm UK time. Air Fairness, QoS, and Smart Connect are disabled.I set it up to use the same SSID and password as the old router. All 4 x Sonos One + Port connected at the time in the new app without issues. All are on 2.4 GHz, 20 MHz width. Sonos devices have reserved leases in the DHCP server. I have the app on Android, 2 x ipad, 1 iphone 14 pro.Problems started yesterday evening: Sonos Voice control reacts quickly to “hey Sonos, play” and “hey Sonos, stop” and works BUT commands that to me need information from the internet do not work: “hey Sonos, how’s the weather” or “hey Sonos, what’s playing” would return many seconds later along the lines of “I couldn’t get that information. No sound on YouTube app only from Song Bravia TV. Other apps have no issues only YouTube. Tried to change to PCM but no avail. Thanks for your help 

I am streaming Spotify through a Connect to the aux RCA jacks on a Yamaha receiver and the output is not in stereo,  verified by playing a left/right channel test track.  Both channels play through both speakers at once.  The test track works through headphones plugged into the phone.

I originally subscribed to Sonos HD Radio through Apple, then cancelled in 2023.  I want to reactivate my subscription, however the Sonos site says I have a subscription with Apple and to go through the Apple subscription app to cancel, however Apple doesn’t show that subscription (assume because it’s so old).  Any way to get around this without having to call sales Mon - Friday?

Since Sonos has had all kinds of issues my SiriusXM drops or stops playing all the time and is very frustrating. I have tried deauthorizing the account. Even called SXM to have them create me a new account and nothing seems to help. Music will just stop playing and I can’t switch to a different XM channel to try and get it to play. It will just time out. Some times I can switch to a different service and then go back but that is hit & miss also. This past year of XM on Sonos has literally sucked. I can play XM no problem through the XM app on my phone. Anyone else experiencing this. My internet service is T-Mobile and I have heard the the cellular services can cause this but I have had this a long time and just this year when all the Sonos problems started happening so did this. Would love some help here. 

I don’t know if it’s just me but every time I use the App, which is every day, something doesn’t work like it should. I’m talking about basics like getting sound out of speakers/rooms selected and adjusting volume. What is the f’ing problem? It’s been 6 months since Sonos promised to fix it and it is still a horrible experience trying to get everything to work. I just want to be able to listen to music without worrying about out whether the sound will come out where I want it and at a volume I can control.Right at this moment I have music playing in three rooms and the only way to control volume is to physically walk to each speaker to make adjustments. In the App, the sliders don’t show volume levels and do not allow adjustments. WTF. I know I’m not alone when I say that wish I could get my thousands of dollars back that I have invested. This company has failed all of us loyal supporters. The sound is great but it’s no longer an enjoyable experience to engage with the App. The competi
