My speakers are acting in a very bizarre manner.  At any random point, day or night, they suddenly turn on and off in a quick fashion, like at a rate of 3 - 4 times per second.  I have a video I can share if needed.  When I open the app, it’s showing the music start and pause in a super quick fashion.  I can’t pause it, change stations, or anything.  If I try and turn the volume down, it goes straight back to level 15.. exactly.

I’ve tried reinstalling the app, and resetting the speakers.. Within minutes it’s doing it again.  Is there a fix to this, or did I just lose $400 at Costco?

What is the source of the music it is playing? This is somewhat reminiscent of a Spotify Connect session gone bad, and the person at the other end trying to figure it out.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using YouTube music and the Sonos radio that it comes with. That's it

Huh. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen this from those sources. The next time it happens, submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing it, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. I think Sonos should be able to see where the ‘start’ command comes from.  But don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
