Today, I noticed that most of my pocket casts won't play strangely Sirius, soundcloud, mixcloud and library all work with no issues.  I have about 12 podcasts, several sources and half of them throw the error 701. I did, today, get my outside DSL line replaced, but again it works fine for all my other services.  Pocket Casts works fine from the app also.  I also reinstalled the sonos app and deleted and re-added the service no change Diagnostic:. 1510266545

Hi, My plan for the upcoming weeks is to buy a new TV. Currently I have two IKEA SYMFONISK lamps and my plan is to stream the sound directly to those speakers. Is it possible to do that without any additional Sonos product? What kind o configuration the TV should have to support such a connection? If it’s not possible, what should I add to the configuration to ensure the streaming?  Thanks,Oskar

Set up is a Sony A8 TV, Arc connected via EARC. In-built Netflix app on the TV has started to drop the sound at random points in any Netflix programme. Not just brief skips but the sound will suddenly just stop while the picture keeps going. I have to briefly turn the TV off and back on again (just with the remote) and the sound returns. No other apps suffering from this.  Any suggestions / anyone else getting this behaviour? Thanks 

Just had a few hiccups with my Sonus system, possibly caused by updates to our BT whole house Wi-Fi system. I rang Sonus and had the pleasure of talking with Andreea T.   their technical assistant who with great patience walked me through the problem and got my system up and Running.A big thank you Andreea T.  for you help and thank you Sonus for a great system. Colin. 

I recently got a new Mac and it’s running Catalina OS (10.15.6). I migrated all of my files over to the new mac and, at first, I was able to add my music library to Sonos but then all of a sudden my music stopped and the library had disappeared. I tried to add the library again and I chose the “My Music folder” icon under “Music Library Settings” and I got the error “Sonos was unable to add the music folder. The computer “blah-blah” cannot be found.” So then I went back and picked the “another folder connected to my computer” icon and I chose the main music folder in User. Sonos will act like it’s working and will even say that my music is being added and it will show that it is indexing the library but then it just goes away….disappears….poof. So then I go back and try to add that folder again and it will say it can’t be found. omg….sooooo frustrating. Please please please help. I have a hunch it’s this new OS -- it no longer supports 32-bit applications. If that is the case please le

Up until i updated the S2 app to 12.2.1 I would see the Sonos audio controls in the pull-down notification curatain as well as on my lock screen. Now it’s not visible in either. I noticed upon going into the Notifications menu that the Sonos app isn’t even listed. I’m running iOS 14.2 on an iPhone 12 Pro. Music controls work well within the app itself. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it but no joy. Anyone else experience this? I just went through something similar with my OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren and that was never resolved. I hope that’s not the case here because I’m just starting to get used to iOS again.

Hello! New user here. I’d like to connect my turntable to my Sonos system. Can I use the Sonos Five to stream my turntable to my other speakers? I don’t need the output features of the Port so it seems like I’d be better off getting an extra speaker than the Port. Am I missing something?

At the weekend, Sonos updated and since then Alexa has stopped playing Apple Music.If you ask her to play something, she will state what you have asked for and then you wait for her to play it and nothing happens.  Alexa is performing all other tasks through the internet however she will not play Apple Music through Alexa - this is however working when you select it through the Sonos app just not voice controlled.I have tried disabling the skill and re-enabling it and also unplugging the Sonos, signing out of everything and re-adding it - nothing is working.Anyone else had this issue since the weekend and know how to fix it please as the whole reason I upgraded the Sonos was so we could use Alexa with it.Many thanks

I have a 2019 Samsung Q70R and am wondering about sound quality if I got a Sonos Arc. Apparently my tv does not have eARC. I currently run a Comcast cable tv + Apple TV + Oppo BluRay player through a Yamaha receiver. I’m trying to minimize things with a move to a soundbar. So, looks like I would get 2-channel stereo from DTS BluRay discs from my Oppo, since the Arc cannot decode DTS, right?As to my cable box and Apple TV box, since streaming is mostly or all Dolby Digital, would I get full Dolby via the Arc? But, lose Atmos? Thanks

I just got a new phone it is an iPhone 11 promax and Sonos has asked me to re-authorize my Apple Music account. When the pop-up window opens with my Apple ID in it and the section for me to enter my password the keyboard does not pop up and so I cannot type in my password.

I’ve had a Bridge for 5 years and not had a single issue with our system.  We have a Playbar, Sub, 5 x Play:1, 1 x Play:3, 1 x Play:5.  I see the Bridge is now ‘legacy’. Would the community recommend I replace the Bridge with Boost?  Only, I see some have had issues once they’ve moved to a Boost despite never having an issue whilst on the Bridge. Many thanks in anticipation for any advice offered.

I’m Eligible for the upgrade 30% discount on the upgrade program, but the full surround sound set has stock all sold out, that I want. How long does it keep my 30% discount on the sonos website, as I don't want to purchase the items separately, I’m happy to wait for the stock to show again.  Also I’m eligible for two product upgrades, does mean I can order the full surround sound set and say a pair of play 5. I started my Sonos radio HD trial today and found out that when I switched to port from beam, it won’t allow me to skip/rewind songs.

Hi, I’ve been enjoying surround sound for over a year, but suddenly stopped working a few months ago.  My Setup (Living Room):Playbar Connect:Amp (LS+RS) Sub All devices wired through a switch that is connected to the router. Full Audio on Music in surround settings. I’ve gone to Settings > System > Living Room (Playbar) and removed the surrounds and they become a separate “Living Room” group, which now works fine and I can group them or play individually. I’ve unplugged (all four) Connect:Amp’s and the Playbar and plugged them back in after 60 seconds and restarted the Sonos S2 app. I get a banner in the app to add surrounds with Connect:Amp and click it and it sets up as expected, but no sound.  Diagnostic code (before surround setup): 551892727Diagnostic code (after surround setup, playing radio): 1402672324 Hope somebody can help get my surrounds back again.

I have been having issues with the Sonos S2 app connecting to the speakers, but strangely I can connect to them just fine in the Spotify app. Any idea why this might be? Have tried all the WiFi reset steps and speaker resets etc. But no improvement. Can sometimes connect if I’m close to the boost bridge but more patchy the further away I am…..was thinking it must be a problem with the bridge. But how come the Spotify app has no problems? Any help and advice gratefully received! Thanks

Hi,I’m using Sonos S2 app on Android.One day, the files where sorted correctly and the next day out of knowhere the app is sorting the files in the wrong order.Let me explain. Let’s say I want to listen to an album of 12 song. Now, instead of sorting the songs in numerical order (1 to 12), it is sorting the songs this way : 1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.So if I want to listen to an album in the right order, I have to edit the playlist each time. It’s kind of annoying. On the sonos software on my computer the files are sorted correctly. I don’t know why the app on Android do that now.Anybody with the same issue ? Any way to solve this ?If you have a solution for me, I thank you :)

Wishful thinking I’m sure but am hoping there’s some way to have the Arc display song info etc.as the Echo Show does?Seems a natural since it’s always connected to a screen. Carl

Good day and please forgive me if this has already been answered. I recently purchased a Sonos Play and a Sonos Five.  The Play is used to bring in audio from a CD player.  When I first set up the system, the devices sensed that the CD was playing and automatically broadcast audio from the line-in.  Recently, something changed and I now have to go into the app and specify the line-in as audio source. Otherwise I get no audio. To my knowledge, I’ve changed nothing, but clearly, something is different.Thoughts, suggestions, please…Thanks in advance for your help.

I understand the Sonos Amp is based on the Qualcomm DDFA CSRA6620 chip.  I was wondering if that chip does the line input digital to analog conversion.  If not, does anyone know what chip or any additional details.I’m very pleased with how the amp digitizes my turntable input which is why I’m curious.Here’s some info on the DDFA chip if someone more technical can sort this out.https://www.qualcomm.com/products/csra6620

I have read (a lot!) on this but could not find specific answer and therefor my question. If it has been, apologies for repeating!I have just moved to a new build hose which had Sonos Connect:Amp installed, with 2xceiling speakers in 2 different rooms. Currently, cables are connected to the the prongs at the back of the device and all 4 speakers work fine. However, it all plays the same music and there is no way for me to turn one of the room off.I do not necessarily want to play different music in different room but hoping to be able to connect my TVs in different rooms and be able to listen to whats being played. Can this be achieved without investing another £500 in another connect:amp? Rp 

Hi all,I have a Symfonisk and I have a problem:I can’t play music via Sonos app and from Spotify. Sometimes I got error 1002, but sometimes I got no error message. But Airplay working and I can switch the status LED via Sonos app. If I start the playing with Airplay then I can change the music with Android phone (Spotify) but the music lagging. Any idea?Robert

I have been having some problems connecting my Sonos to my home Wi-Fi and I just wanted to confirm if Sonos wlll support CCMP (AES) encryption.I am only able to get it to connect to the Wi-Fi if I use TKIPIt will not connect using CCMP (AES) is it supported?
