Hi, I’ve just upgraded to a newer BT router, after a few hours of messing I’ve finally got everything working again by setting each speaker back up individually. My system is on Wi-Fi but I connected a cable to get it all working again with the help of Sonos assistance. The cable is now disconnected and everything is set up but the app keeps losing signal and saying unable to connect about 50% of the time? It was definitely better before than now? I was hoping a 2 year newer/better router would have been ok? Any suggestions are welcome. thanks.  

So, I have returned a bunch of Bluesound equipment and switched it all to Sonos.  One room has an Arc, Sub and surround set up and I would like to attache the Arc to a MantelMount MM540.  Had the Bluesound soundbar on their initially (which came with some mounting brackets/wings), and I am wondering if I need something special to place the Arc on there.  Looks like is will just screw right in and not sit to far underneath the television (OLED and pretty thin) so as to not block any of the speakers.  

looking to use already-owned multi-channel amplifier to drive several new S2 ports.   any issues with volume control in this setup?   Note: my setup is dedicated in-ceiling and in-wall speakers in various rooms in my house that the ports drive.  just looking to re-use my separate amps vs paying for the amplification in the new S2 connect amps.   Thx!  

My Ubiquiti Alien Router has two networks set up. One on 2.4 and one on 5ghz because my Epson scanner will only work on 2.4. My Sonos S1 has been really wonky and is “unable to play”. Does my iPhone need to be on the 2.4 network to get my S1 to play. It appears to be so. Please let me know if there is a way for my S1 to communicate on 5ghz so I do not have to keep switching networks on my phone. Thank you.

Daft question - turntable plugged in via aux - works fine but volume is definitely lower than playing direct via App etc.  is this because it’s aux input or maybe the power output is not high on the turntable a relatively cheap audio technica type I have add a few years.  or is that normal 

Upgraded to S2 software now my audio from my TV skips really badly when I have more than one speaker playing the tv audio stream. It works fine when it's only the TV room speaker setup. Used to work perfect on the original software. Adjusting the group audio delay does nothing. Diagnostic 70307141

I’m trying to get into the app but it takes me to an update. Problem is that the email address it is asking me for a password for is not my email. I’ve deleted the app. Rebooted the app. All no good. I can sign in using my correct email and password but this update screen has the wrong email so it’s saying my password is incorrect. Screen shot is below. Any thoughts appreciated. Cheers.   

I have upgraded from a ZP90 to the new Amp. Initial problems it would not connect to the wifi even though it was in the same place as the ZP90.After many hours trouble shooting with Sonos they told me to hard wire at my expense.So I hard-wired in, worked great for a few weeks, last Friday it was on all day….Saturday it has disappeared from system. It now will not connect and when I try a new connect it can see the Amp, asks me to press the figure of 8 button then the light goes ‘orange’. Which i read as the light of death.So as Sonos are ignoring me anyone else got any ideas?

I’ve recently bought a turntable which has a wired output and Bluetooth and built in pre-amp. I don’t have a separate amp so I am currently using it with a Bluetooth speaker.  However ideally I’d like to be able to play it through my Sonos system. I have been researching options, but looking for help / advice!   Sonos Play 5 - could connect directly to the turntable and presumably it would be able to play out of my other existing Sonos speakers at the same time.  Sonos Move - I could connect via Bluetooth to my turntable, however I am not sure if it would play out of the other Sonos speakers at the same time? As I would have to toggle it onto Bluetooth, presumably this effective disconnects it from the wider system?  Sonos Amp - would make sense, but seems unnecessary for me - the Play 5 would work just as well for what i want and give me the advantage of another speaker Sonos Port - I cant understand this fully - would this only work for me if i had a separate amp to connect the turnt

Hi all, I’m getting an error message on Spotify for my three Sonia speakers which says ‘can’t play this right now’. I can still access Spotify from the Sonos app ok but not from Spotify itself. Can anyone suggest what to do. Thanks, Stephen 

This Sonos Beam was working perfectly fine until a couple of days ago. I’ve moved to a new home / new Wifi, so I reset all the speakers and started fresh. After the updates, all speakers seem to be OK, but the Beam has lost its staus LED light. Nothing happens if I toggle the “Status light” setting on and off in the S2 app. I have tried powering it on and off, and nothing. I have tried resetting it again, but it’s hard to follow the procedure, because when trying to follow the steps I don’t get any lights at all on the LED. The speaker seems to work OK otherwise, except that I’ve also found out that neither voice assistant (Alexa/Google) works anymore. I used Google Assistant on this same device before, so I wonder if this is related. Touch controls seem to work, and I get sound feedback when I touch them. If I touch on the “mic” button after setting up Google Assistant, I hear the voice saying “the mic is off” and “the mic’s back on”, but the speaker doesn’t respond to any commands or

Hi all, I just got a Sonos Port, and was hoping to be able to stream to it from my PC via Airplay.  After some Googling, I installed a program called AirParrot3, but when I try to use it to connect my PC to my Port, AirParrot asks for a password.  I tried using my Network password and my  Sonos password, but neither worked. Others who’ve had this problem received advice in these forums to disable a setting on their iOS device (I have an iPhone 6SPlus).  However, I can’t implement this advice because the iPhone settings it refers to appear to have changed since then and I can’t locate them. currently have a Beam. In general love the sound but lacking in stage width. Don't wanna spend $$ on Arc and have no use for Beam plus Arc is a more expensive solution.What if I mount two Ones on both sides of 65" tv and keep Beam in center? What would be the effect? Would Beam serve as a center? Am I sacrificing Beam capabilities or enhancing on them? Would I have to mount Ones same height as Beam or can I use ear level height?And last question - would there be cleaner bass at all in the above setup option or would I have to invest in sub for that? Right now problematic as I am in an appartment.BTW - please no surround suggestions as I cannot place the Ones in the rear.Thanks!

I plug and unplug my speaker and don’t see no led

I’ve spent hours on this now.I have an alexa-enabled sonos one and from there I can command different rooms (I have a One in the kitchen, a One in a kid’s room, a Play3 in the dining room, Play5+sub in living room and a Play1 in bedroom) to play music, but once I ask for a song to be played everywhere - and it indeed does play everywhere - I cannot get Alexa to go back to controlling just one room (even though it replies to say it is). The only way around it is to open the sonos controllers and ungroup the speakers. In fact, I think once there has been any grouping (lets say I grouped two rooms in the controller) I cannot get control over one of those rooms on a individual basis again.Any advice would be very gratefully received.ThanksJededit: It seems I can break grouping as long I stop the music playing in that group and then go to command one of the speakers i.e. I cannot split the group up when it is playing music.edit: the above edit seems unreliable fix. Doesnt always work. This

I am seeking advice on audio settings on my Panasonic TV and Panasonic UB900 player in order to prevent lip sync delay but still retain 5.0 sound.  

My Apple Music recently added items have stopped appearing in Sonos. I’ve tried deleting and re-adding the Apple Music connection, resetting each account, logging out and logging back into each, deleting and reinstalling each app, giving things hours to update etc. but with no success whatsoever. Any thoughts or suggestions, please? I recently switched to the Apple One package which integrates my Apple Music account with several other services but I can’t see why this would have caused the problem. Apple Music is working and updating itself fine independently of Sonos, by the way. 

Up until today I had an Xbox One X and outputted sound via Xbox optical into the Sonos Playbase (set up as 5.1). Today I upgraded to the Xbox Series X not realising they had done away with the Optical out. My TV doesn't do pass through HDMI so I can't output the Xbox to my TV in 5.1 and then back out of the TV via optical. I can't only do this in stereo 2.0, which is what I'm doing for now. I think my solution needs to be some kind of split box that allows me to split the HDMI cable into HDMI and optical. The problem being as the Xbox uses HDMI 2.1 for 4K 120hz, I need a switch that can do this for me....or at the very least 4k 60hz for now.....but also HDR as well. Anyone successfully done this? I don't want to upgrade to Sonos Arc as this means I need a new TV. Any help appreciated.

I’ve got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8A - with local music stored on it - i give the Sonos app access as it requests during first selection of ‘On the Mobile Device’. I can browse albums/artists/songs, can see cover art etc. but as when i select an album is just races through them “xxxx” is no longer available on Samsung SM-T290. I’ve done this exact setup before on another Tab 8A - same music etc. and it works fine, so i know its not a problem with the files. Any advice greatly appreciated as this setup has no music services, other than Sonos Radio/Tune In so are stuck with a limited selection...

Maybe someone might know if the Q80T volume display is still shown on volume changes when connected to an Arc? Thanks, Carl

Hi!I was thinking of getting my boyfriend a Sonos beam for Christmas. I was going to recommend his family purchase other speakers for him to go with the beam. Do all Sonos speakers link together? The Sonos beam is going to be in our living room. I was hoping we could do smaller speakers for the kitchen to hear the game when cooking or playing music. Is there speakers you would recommend? Unfortunately I cannot afford the $1500 set of speakers so hoping to slowly just give him the Sonos as gifts over the years. 

Hello.I maintain my music library on iTunes.  Following a Sonos synch of the iTunes library I get the following error message when attempting to play an item in iTunes itself:“The song could not be used because the original files could not be found”The songs can be found in my Sonos library.  Each time I add music to the iTunes library it is accessible on iTunes until I resynch from the Sonos side.Is there a way to resolve this so I can access synched music from both iTunes and Sonos?  

Hi all, amazon prime music not playing on Sonos zp100. Amazon music shows up as an option BUT when I press play, I get the pop up ‘get unlimited’ and no music starts.  I don’t want unlimited just my Prime Music. Please help. What am I doing wrong?

Getting a new Sony X950H delivered in a couple of weeks. I also ordered a new Arc soundbar. I know that I will be ok for Atmos playback, but what about DTS?  I know that the Arc does not support it, but there are some work around options. I have not picked up a 4K blu ray player yet, so any suggestions that will help with DTS playback, I am open to. Also, I will have access to a PS4 Pro shortly because my son is getting the PS5, will that solve my issue? Thanks in advance.
