BorrowBox is used by the majority of UK libraries, it would be great to have the service available on Sonos. I can see Audible, Libby, Audiobook & Bookmate. Any plans to add BorrowBox????

Please forgive me. I am not tech savy at all. I currently have the Sonos 5.1 home theater system with playbase. I have ordered the Sonos Arc. How will  I go about removing the playbase from the system and then installing the arc ? I also would like to sell the playbase to a friend. How do I factory reset the playbase ? Thank you in advance for kind responses.    

I’ve recently added Spotify to my Sonos controller, but my Spotify library playlist does not appear.  I’ve removed and readded the Spotify service and also updated my music library index, but no joy.  Thank you.

Hi I’ve just preordered a Sonos Arc and I’ve just received a Samsung Q95T which is a TV which has its brains in a separate ‘one connect’ box that sits separate to the TV allowing the TV to be thinner.    The one connect box has all the plugs for the TV including HDMI. So I need to run a HDMI cable 5m form the one connect box to my soon to arrive Sonos Arc.    Should I be looking out for a specific brand or type of HDMI cable?    Many thanks 

Hello all - Any help on my question is greatly appreciated, I am a novice in the home audio space.    I want to set up a Sonos Amp to run 4 outdoor speakers in parallel. 2 Bose Environmental 251’s on the deck about 10 feet from the Sonos Amp. And 2 8ohms rock speakers in the backyard about 100 feet away (cable will run ~150ft), using 14ga buried wire.  Is the Sonos Amp powerful enough to handle this and properly send power to all speakers? Considering I want to use the Bose 251’s what size rock speak should I get to over overwhelm the Sonos Amp?   Thanks for your consideration,  Jonathan  

I had to return a recently purchased play five because of connectivity issues. It’s taken a few weeks from the time I shipped it to the time I received a refund in the form of a gift card. Now I have a gift card for $500 and there’s absolutely nowhere, anywhere to enter that gift card number at the time of purchase. What is going on with this company? I’ve attempted to call customer service multiple times and I’m put on hold for a half an hour and then hung up on. Hi all Im desperately trying to figure out how to get my samsung android phone & tablet non music (eg netflix, prime, you tube, itv etc) played through the 2x sonos ones g2 i just bought.  Trying to crack this before investing anymore in sonos systems.  The sonos move is the only sonos with blue tooth which gave me an idea.... Couple of questions: 1) firstly I'm assuming in blue tooth mode the move will connect to my android (samsung) tablet like a standard blue tooth speaker, and play non music like i want?  2) if the answer to the above is yes. Then in bluetooth mode can the move connect to my future sonos speakers (two ones g2, a sub, and a soundbar) which obviously aren't blue tooth? Could the move be the audio source (via bluetooth) to play (push audio) across multiple rooms / speaker groups?  Ps, any other ideas very welcome.  Thanks in advance Suzie         

I have Google Assistant on all of my Sonos devices.  And for the past year everything has worked great, including my integration with my smart home devices.   I can say things like “Google turn off the light” and it knows what room I’m in and does the right thing.   Today I moved a single ONE to a different room.  Re-assigned the room in the Sonos app.  Then re-assigned the room in the Google Home app.  Total chaos followed.  Now NONE of my devices know what room they are in, and turn lights on in the wrong room, or for the entire house.   I unlinked Sonos from Google Home, started over.  Didn’t help.   Then I tried moving things around to different rooms, experimented with a few things.  Didn’t help.  Unlinked a second time.  Didn’t help.    Any ideas?   It seems like when I re-link my Sonos to Google, Google still has a memory of the bad set-up.  Is there a way to totally wipe the Sonos configuration from Google and start over?  Unlinking didn’t help.

Hello all,  I see there is a discount for nurses and first responders. Is there also a discount for resident physicians? I’m a resident at Texas Children’s hospital. Some of the nurses were talking about how much they love their sonos speaker. I thought it would be nice to put a few in my office and patient rooms to play some calming music on stressful nights. 

Looking for some help if possible please - some tracks in Spotify won’t play via the Sonos app or direct to Sonos via devices available in Spotify - the playlist are being accessed via Sonos, the songs are greyed out, despite them being a able to be played via the Spotify app on all of my mobile devices, IOS and Android.    

I have 2 sonos ones and a beam, when I ask to skip track with alexa on spotify, she just says I cant skip to the next song. Very frustrating.

I’m keen to set up this situation:   Sonos Amp 1 to Sonos Outdoor Pair A and Sonos Pair B Sonos Amp 2 to Sonos Architectural In-Ceiling Speakers 3 in Room A and 3 in Room B   In order to switch Outdoor Pair A/B and In-Ceiling Room Room A/B I was hoping to hook the Sonos Amps to this McClelland 6 way Speaker Selector: https://www.radioparts.com.au/product/39894210/ss26v-6-way-premium-speaker-selector-volume-control-150w-totalrms#.Xp1zaOQmLDs   Is this doable? 

I’ve preordered the Arc and Sub; I have a few questions; 1)  I have 2 Sonos Play 1s as rear surrounds. Will these be compatible to pair with the Arc and Sub for a surround system, or are only Sonos One/One SL compatible?   2) I have an LG OLED C9; is HMDI eARC the best way to connect audio? Should I use an HDMI 2.1 for this? 3) I have a frame around my TV; if I mount the Arc directly under the frame, it covers the top of the speaker: would the acoustics be better if I mount a wood box behind the Arc, so that there are no obstructions* on top of the speaker?  

I’m trying to get in contact with support to raise an issue with Spotify playbakc, but the Support website says you can only use Twitter or Phone. What happened to the option of sending an email or filling out a form? I don’t use Twitter and the Phone is inconvenient. How is the community option supposed to work when it needs support to interpret the diagnostic I have uploaded?

I am away from home in a family house (different wifi network, geographically separated), but have bought a Sonos Move. What’s the best way to set it up? I want to be able to start using it, but then when I go home have it join the rest of my main Sonos system. Should I set up the move with a new/different Sonos account (email) at my family home, and then when I return home, should I factory reset the move and re-set it up on my home wifi + home Sonos account? Should I first set up the Move using the same Sonos account but different Sonos system (apparently one account can have multiple systems?). Then when I take the Move home, somehow have it join my home system (I hear the Move can join multiple wifi networks?) Is one better/cleaner? I don’t plan on moving back and forth between these two places, I just don’t happen to be at home when first starting to use the Move.

Hi - with the current home isolation situation I have just started doing Zoom online yoga classes.  Namaste!  I have a Samsung TV with a Sonos playbar, and a Samsung tablet - so I log into Zoom meeting on my tablet and cast to the TV with Samsung smartview, but the sound is just coming from my tinny tablet - is there any way I can get the sound to come through the playbar on the TV?  There is no Zoom app on the TV, and my TV doesn’t have a camera anyway so have to use the tablet to cast.  It looks as through I can play files stored on my tablet via browse on Sonos controller, but does this allow streamed sound?  Many thanks for any advice!

Alexa says she cannot play the next song when asked to do so. This is a sonos problem because other alexa devices will skip when asked. Only sonos devices wont skip. Sonos and alexa seem to respond correctly to all.other requests, weather, timer, play music etc.

Will be getting ARC next month. Should I upgrade Play:1 to One or SL as surrounds? Since ARC has GA built in do I need surrounds to have GA capability too?

Hi, Alexa accepts command to play tunein on Sonos and acknowledges but then fails to play anything. OK on Echo dot so seems like a Sonos problem. Started happening yesterday. Any suggestions please? Thanks   

It seems like One only supports certain services.  I have MP3 recordings of accompaniment I want to sing with.  How do I do that with Sonos One?

I’ve read a bunch of “fix-it” docs on here but none really with what I’m seeing. I have no issues with my actual speakers playing music. I have 2 Sonos 5, 3 Sonos 1, and HT system. None have problems connecting or playing music. But the app is horrible lately. Every time I go to access the app, the “Rooms” section shows maybe 2 of my speakers, but when I go into “Settings/System” they’re all showing up. So I know it “sees” them. Or maybe not, is “System” connected to my account and not what it sees on the network? When I’m in “Rooms” it only shows a few of them. Then, it takes forever for the app to connect to all of my music sources (i.e. Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, etc).  As I type, right now I can only see 2 speakers in “Rooms”. When I go to “Settings/System” I can see all my speakers. But I can’t pause the music on the app. I don’t believe it’s an issue with my wifi network (Orbi Mesh network). All speakers are connected wirelessly, but as mentioned above don’t have any issue wi

Hi, I am having real problems with Alexa at the minute, Firstly alexa cant skip songs, I have followed others and deleted the devices out of the alexa app and it fixes it for a day or so then it stops again. I am not sure that doing this every day is a workable solution. Secondly When asking Alexa to play any music it will only play the first song then stop, I have looked for the household setting but deleting a user out of a household seems a bit drastic as we share our prime account etc. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi all, Was watching this interview with a couple folks from Sonos introducing the Arc.    At the 41:37 mark, the Sonos guy mentions that when the Arc is paired with Ones for rear surround, the side firing speakers on the Arc are turned off.   Can anyone confirm this? If so, what is the benefit of doing this (something about increasing sound pressure)?   Thanks!

Can i add the the sonos move as rear speakers as i really do not want any more wires.

This week I have had problems connecting to CNBC on my SONOS system via Tunein.  The CNBC stream will start as expected then drop off after about two minutes.  The Tunein CNBC stream works fine on other devices on the same WIFI.  It appears that the problem is with SONOS.    Is anyone having a similar problem.     Scott   Update:  The CNN Station failed after five minutes.  Now I assume its not just CNBC.
