I can control volume on Sonos One, One SL and Port from Sonos app but not the Move???!

I have a Sonos Beam and two Sonos Ones, connected wirelessly through my 2nd Generation Apple Airport Express with the latest firmware installed. This setup has worked just fine until recently, when I upgraded to Sonos S2 and got a new cable modem. Now, when I launch the S2 app on iOS 14, it says that I’m “Unable to connect to Sonos” and Alexa and Spotify (the only two services I’ve connected to Sonos through the app) doesn’t work. I have enabled access to the “Local Network” under the iOS 14 Privacy settings, and I’ve also completely reset my Sonos speakers to factory settings to no avail. The only thing that seems to temporarily work, is rebooting my Airport Express router. When I do that, I can access everything just fine through the Sonos S2 app, and can use Alexa and stream Spotify with no issues. But after a variable amount of time, it just stops working. I have no clue what the issue is, but has anyone else come across this/found a fix for it?

Is there a voice command to start playing the TV audio to multiple rooms/speakers? I can get my Beam (and attached Sub) to switch its input back to TV by voice, but I want it to be playing in another room as well. I can set this up via the app, but am really going for voice control. Ideally, this would be a single command (so I can give it a shorthand as a Routine) but if it takes two, so be it.Relatedly, is there a good way to redirect what’s playing in one room/group to another/all by voice? (That would make it easy to do in two commands.)I just switched to Alexa from Google because it feels a bit better integrated with Sonos (group support, etc), but would be curious about both honestly.

Hi All, I was happily watching my TV last night when all of sudden my Playbase turned itself off. I’ve tried to reconnect the power cable securely and have tested multiple power sockets but to no avail, the unit will just not turn back on again. Has anyone else come across this and/or know how to fix it? I’m guessing the power unit inside the unit may have failed so might have to send it off to be repaired. Any help greatly appreciated as I’m currently set up for 5.1 surround sound in my living room and without the Playbase the rest are pretty useless! Thanks.

Hi all,Having read a lot of threads on Sonos surround sound, I’m still experiencing issues, and hope for some assistance in preparing my setup for a PS5 at some point: My current setup consists of a PS4, which outputs video through HDMI to a BenQ projector.Simultaniously, the PS4 outputs sound via Optical directly to my Sonos Playbar + 2 x Play:1s for surround.Setting the PS4 to output only DD5.1 via the Optical ensures that I have perfect surround sound - all good! Now, sometime in the near future I’m looking to replace my PS4 with a PS5, which lacks the Optical out port. So I was looking into HDMI audio extractors with optical out, which should be able to do the trick.I purchased this one: https://www.conrad.com/p/speaka-professional-3-ports-hdmi-switch-3d-playback-mode-remote-control-arc-audio-return-channel-3840-x-2160-p-1360279- and implemented it into my current setup between the PS4 and the Playbar, outputting sound from the PS4 via HDMI now, and extracting it from the Switch to

I have major S1 controller “Not connected”, “Your Sonos product was not found” issues.I have an existing S1 system with 2 Play 5’s (Gen1), 3 Play1’s, Beam and Boost. I was given a Move for Christmas and have spent 2 days trying to connect it to the S1 controller. I have tried every suggestion on the forums (latest software, device, handset and router reboots and resets, various IOS and Android controllers tried, moving nearer the router etc) but always end up with the “Not connected error”.The Move connects quite happily to the S2 controller.I then decided to see if the sound of a couple of Play 1’s in the room the Play 5’s are would be OK (they’re not as it’s quite a large room). Unfortunately, during this process I switched the two Play 1’s to the S2 controller (I was testing them with the Move). However, I cannot reconnect them back to the S1 controller. Exactly the same issue as with the Move “Not connected”, “Your Sonos product was not found”. What is really perplexing is that the

Hi, i have a problem.!!! Recently one of my Sonia the one I have in the bathroom won’t play when I group all the rest of them! I can play separate music in the bathroom, and on the other 3 I can play same. But it don’t want to be grouped with the bathroom. How to fix?

Tried setting an alarm up on my SONOS one sl in my bedroom but when I go to select the music to go with the alarm there is nothing there. All the headings are there i.e. Sonos Radio, etc but when you select any of these headings there is nothing behind them...all missing any selectable content. Not sure why??

Comcast cable box requires the use of the ARC port.  It won’t work with a coaxial cable.  I’ve connected the Beam using the optical adapter but no sound comes out of the sound bar.  What’s the fix?

If I understand everything correctly I can connect my Beam with a Connect:Amp. Does it matter if this Connect:Amp is gen 1 or gen 2?I use the Beam via my TV (HDMI ARC) if that would matter.

Will there ever be Spotify podcasts on Sonos, appears this has been an ask for years now.

Hi,2 days ago, I clicked on the Sonos 1 icon on my laptop (Windows 10) and I got a setup assistant menu displayed showing a list of languages. This menu was frozen i.e. I couldn’t select anything and then it all disappeared. The result is that it is now impossible to run Sonos on my laptop.  Anyone got an answer on this?

Hi - I would like to use the Sonos Ones/SLs as front speakers (so voice/commentary comes from there) and the Beam is positioned behind me in my setup. Currently, the Ones/SLs seem to have the rear audio coming out instead with the Beam outputting the front sound. Is this possible to reverse this with the app? If not, can this be a feature added to the app?

I successfully listen to Libby library audio books through Sonos.  Thank you.  When I stop, then start the book later, it starts at the beginning.   I tried syncing again and setting Libby bookmarks.   How to start a book where previously stopped through Sonos?

Does anyone know how I can get background nature sounds to play while doing guided meditation while using the Calm App on Sonos?  I can get background sounds to play while meditating when just using the app, but not when I’m listening on Sonos.  Any suggestions?

My Sonos Connect amps - I have 2 -  won’t power on. Is there a hard reset somewhere or something that could have burned out and needs to be replaced?  One is about a year old, the other 3.It’s eerily quiet these days! Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Will I suffer some signal loss to my Sonos ARC by using optical instead of the required HDMI 2.1 cable from my Sony X950H?

I have bought a new Sonos Beam to act as a sound bar for my TV  but need the Sonos app to set it up. B But I already have Sonos1 products (2x Connect:Amp) on my network (and want to keep them). This means apparently that I need to split Sonos1 and Sonos products, fine by me. But the instructions tell me that I first have to remove the S1 products from the S1 app. This page: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4829?language=en_US tells me that I have use the S1 app on my phone (android) and go Settings/System/System Tools then tap on “Remove products”. However there is no remove products options in this menu. The S1 app is up to date. Anyone have any ideas?

I have an Amp powering four KEF Ventura 6 speakers on my patio. All four speakers face outward away from the house covering a pool area and a patio.  The back of the house is about half a mile from a highway and I sometimes hear more road noise than I like so I run the speakers a lillte loud to drown out the road noise. Can I place a Move opposite the KEFs (facing the house) and group them together to create a more “immersive” sound so I could run the KEFs at a lower volume? Will there be a lag?

Hi all,I'm trying a few days to setup a little home theater system with 1 Play:1 speaker, 1 Symfonisk speaker and 1 Beam soundbar. I hope you'll help me with this setup.Regards,Rowica

Trying to setup Arc hdmi connection to tv via hdmi arc port (used in previous non-Sonos system) failing so is connection test.

What is the best way to connect a Sonos Arc with the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable?  I have no third party speakers.  I’d prefer not to buy a Sonos 5 at this time as I’d rather use my Arc exclusively.  Do I need to buy a Sonos Port to make this happen?  Is there anything I’m not considering?

I've just got a sonos move.  All was great until I tried to use voice assistant during playback, you know to change the volume etc!   Voice works fine until music is playing and then the sonos just doesn't pick up the prompt (alexa, or hey google).  Its the same if I'm using Alexa or Google VA and also however music is being played, e.g. Spotify or tunein etc.   Pause the music and it works fine again.
