What is the best way to connect a Sonos Arc with the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable?  I have no third party speakers.  I’d prefer not to buy a Sonos 5 at this time as I’d rather use my Arc exclusively.  Do I need to buy a Sonos Port to make this happen?  Is there anything I’m not considering?

I believe that the TT has a built in pre-amp. If so, you just need a Sonos device with a line-in: The options are:

  • Five (or Play:5),
  • Port (or Connect)
  • Amp (or Connect:Amp)

All the above offer a Line-In to a Sonos setup, but please note that any older Connect/Connect:Amps, prior to 2015, will not work with an S2 Household used by your Sonos Arc.
