Dear all, i have Sonos arc, sub and two Sonos one.when I watch content Dolby atmos on Netflix , the sound cut time to time for less than a second. i have a LG OLED tv and the sound setting it’s bistream and digital sound out : pass through. anyone got this issue or know how to solve the problem? thank you

My Sonos One has suddenly started requesting a password for AirPlay. I also have a Symphonisk on the same network which is working fine (not requesting a password). Previously for several months both have been working fine, including airplay with no password. Recently I bought a HomePod mini which is on the same network - that’s the only recent change I know of. Now I can airplay to the Symphonisk or the HomePod mini but when I try to airplay to the Sonos One, from any of our Apple devices (all of which previously worked fine), it requests a password. To summarise: Symphonisk, HomePod mini, Sonos One on the network. Several iPhones in use across the family. Everything works fine except when any iPhone tries to airplay to the Sonos One, it needs a password. What do I do?

Alexa volume is too loud and does not respond to normal volume control. Even if music is is at its lowest level, Alexa still sounds like it is at 10. This is bizarre. Can't use this device with other people are resting or sleeping anywhere in our small house.  When will this be fixed?

I have 2 passive speakers: https://www.thomann.de/gb/apart_mask2_w_white.htmImpedance: 8 ΩRated power: 50W Will these speakers work with the Connect:Amp? Because I read in the documentation:Your speaker’s power rating should be at least 75W for 8 Ohm speakers, and at least 150W for 4 Ohm speakers. Do not connect speakers rated at less than 4 Ohms. Are these speakers to “small” to be used with the Connect:Amp? And if yes: can they be connected with the newer Amp?

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone can test this tv show and let me know if their sub buzzes/rattles during a specific scene. In Westworld Season 3 Episode 1 about 23 minutes in is a scene where Bernard is diagnosing himself. There is a really low frequency being played during this scene that causes my sub to make an awful buzz/rattle noise. I’m wondering if it’s just my sub or if it happens for everyone. I tried checking and there doesn’t appear to be anything loose inside the sub and other content sounds fine as far as I can tell. I’ve reset the EQ and turned off true play and it still rattles during this scene. The volume is only set to about 15% or so. I tried talking with chat support and sent them video proof of the problem and also sent in diagnostics.  They said the diagnostic shows nothing wrong and told me to post here for help(which I find very unhelpful by the way).    Thanks in advance!

Hello, so I have the following equipment and would like to link it all up and get it all working with Sonos.  I currently have a turntable with preamp connected to a Sonos 5. I also have 3rd party in-ceiling speakers built into 3 rooms in my house. These all have their own volume controls per room. There is a single RCA wall plate to connect to all the ceiling speakers. (I have only just moved into the house so I don’t know if they require an amp yet or it could be hidden away somewhere?)How can I connect my turntable to the Sonos 5 and the ceiling speakers (or potentially amp for the ceiling speakers? And also have the ability to stream music (using the Sonos app) to the Sonos 5 and in-ceiling speakers?

I’m a bit confused, as I now have the new Amp I so thinking I could add it to HomeKit but it can’t find any sonos devices, what am I doing wrong.Frankly I would have thought sonos would have addressed this in S2 and added the code to scan. While I’m here which isn’t know often, what happened to Ryan S, I can see the normal gang are here which is great - sorry guys just don’t get the time to be on here but miss you all

I have recently purchased a Sonos Arc and a new TV to go with it, the LG nanocell 91 with eArc. This all works fine and I get Dolby Atmos and 5.1 coming through the Arc from appropriate sources and it all sounds great. So far so happy! The problem is that around one time in 4 or 5 the Arc does not seem to be detected and the TV defaults to its internal speakers, there does not seem to be any consistency or pattern to when or why this happens at all. I am using the HDMI cable that came with the Arc and have tried a different high quality cable as well which makes no difference, I have also tried adjusting all potentially possible settings on the LG TV as well.Has any one else experienced this or even better found a way to fix it?Many thanks in advance!!

When streaming Sirius Channel 710, The Loft, the song title has stopped updating. This has been going on over a week. I have tried deleting and reinstalling Sirius. Sometimes it updates for a minute but then stops.

I have a Sonos sub and it’s connected to the TV output. Playbar and 2 x play 1’s. I have a pair of play 3,s that I normally use to play my music on. Is there anyway to pair the sub to the play 3’s temporarily. Like a preset then allows them to go back to the TV once I decide. It’s just a lot of effort to unpair and add to the play 3’s and then add to the TV again.

Hi All, I recently purchased a Sonos Arc and have set it up with my 2 play 1 speakers as surrounds. My setup is as follows:- Sonos Arc- 2 x Sonos Play 1’s- LG C9 TV- AppleTV 4KI have set my TV settings to use HDMI pass through and eArc and Bitstream.I have purchased a new HDMI 2.1 certified cable (2m in length).when I listen to a Dolby ATMOS source the voice channel moves between the surrounds and the arc randomly! Almost as if it’s changing from ATMOS to stereo randomly every few seconds. It sounds terrible! This seems to be related to the Sonos Arc compatibility with the AppleTV? I don’t have this issue when I use Netflix on the WebOS on the LG C9 TV?What is going on? This isn’t what I paid $800 for a sound bar to experience?

I am eligible to upgrade products my Pay:1 and Play:5 (Gen 1).If I did this are old ones still usable and able to group with the new products?I understand they won’t be eligible for a further discount but am just concerned getting use from the speakers and making sure they function.

I purchased a new Sonos move and one online for Christmas. They arrived after New Years- no issue.  However it will play but it won’t charge. It says 0% charge all the time but in the charger it will turn on and play.  Do I need to send it back?

I apologise but this is a bit if a rant. For months and months we have been getting a persistent error with Alexa saying Spotify device off line when ever you try and use a voice command. You can manually play it to the Sonos 1 via Spotify but the voice command simply does not work. I should say this used to work correctly with issue what so ever. We have tried everything from every forum. Complete reset upNaming conventionsVoice actions ensuring Spotify is online in the app  You name it we have tried it, to me Alexa has con backwards . you wont get any help or support from Amazon and to me the product is now not fit for purpose. The rest of my extensive sonos speakers work perfectly. Please please please get this fixed

My SONY TV only has one spare HDMI port.  This used to have a Google ChromeCast attached, which has had to be removed in order to plug in the BEAM.  How can I watch things from my MacBook on my TV now that I am unable to cast them?

Hi There, I’m keen on getting the Sonos Arc but feel pretty unsure on how I can work with just 1 HDMI port. Right now, I’ve an old Samsung TV (Model: UA55ES6600M) and has HDMI-ARC. My existing (failing) Samsung soundbar setup has many HDMI inputs, so that I can fit my: Blu-ray player Nintendo Switch Mini PC Digital TV Tuner And the Sonos soundbar only has 1 HDMI. How can I work with that?

I just bought sonos one gen2, i can not connect to google assistant.it said not avaiable in my country, why? Also my mic can not turn on or off thanks

Hi, is it possible to use two sonos fives in stereo connected together through an Ethernet cable while not being connected to a router(no router network available outside somewhere for example). And with the audio signal going through the line in on one of the speakers. Is this possible?

Hello,I am actually building my new house, and planning its sound system.I plan to use an Amp linked to the TV as input, and obviously some speakers. I already own a NAS (Synology 216 Play) which stores my movies and music. As I understand, I might be able to use the Amp as output for my music library inside the NAS, using the S2 app?But here is another question that I cannot answer for now : my family has gifted us an Amazon Echo (we do not have it yet thanks to the lockdown), can I use it with the Sonos S2 app? It seems that the Amazon Alexa app cannot use the NAS as a library (not directly), and as I plan to pilot everything with the S2 app, it would be nice to keep this Echo speaker.  thanks a lot for your tips!

Does the Play:1 (Gen 1) connect to Sonos Beam for dual speaker set up?If I purchased another Play: 1 (Gen 1) will the two Play:1 and Sonos beam group correctly and have sound from all speakers? If I purchased the new One SL or One (Gen 2) are these compatible with the Beam and the Play 1(Gen 1) Thank you in advance!

heyI cant login, and I have been on profil, and reset and everything is coorect. But in the app I cant log in. What to do

Is there any way to get total control to the speakers while I’m not on the network.  Is there any other speaker that I should use instead?

Receiving a U-Turn Orbit turntable this month and need to get a speaker(s) for it.  Turntable will have a built in phono preamp and a Ortofon Red cartridge. I’ve started into the Sonos ecosystem with a Beam for my TV and a pair of Ones (Gen 2) to place around the house. My natural thought was to get a Five and use that. My question is two part…  First will a single Five be able to compete with a pair of powered bookshelf speakers like the Audioengine A5+ or the Klipsch R51 PM?   My house is open floor plan so the Five would be feeding a decent sized space.   Secondly, how do I setup the lossless feature for the turntable feed to the Five and can I stream that same quality to my other Sonos speakers without any glitches?

1 month ago one (only one) TuneIn station stopped playing. Customer Support seems unable to resolve the issue after umpteen emails and two case numbers (01696742 & 01674405). Info exchanged (including secondary & very minor questions about Sonos Radio):  Reset my router. I reset my Bridge. I closed and reopened Sonos. I restarted my PC. I have simple wireless WiFi setup - Bridge, Speakers, Controller - no Alexis or similar (Response to “Case Resolved” email received) I have not seen a response, so can’t consider my case resolved. Please provide more information about the resolution information you have. (Conversation w/Paul) Does the station play alright on TuneIn's website Yes have you tried playing different radio stations on your speaker and do they play okay Yes, I have & no problems w/other TuneIn Stations. KPFT site streaming option works w/o URL . I thought if I removed and reentered KPFT that might be a fix. Went to “My Radio Stations” and reentered it there.

First post and new user.    I have the Sonos Arc (and gen 3 sub and dual SL rears) connected to an LG OLED C9 via eARC and HDMI 8K 2.1 cable and hard wired Cat7 Ethernet (Orbi WiFi 6 system). With both DirecTV and Apple TV I have started to get audio cutting out for a FRACTION of a second randomly. I have power cycled and made sure all have up to date software. I will remove the WiFi password tonight as recommended by Sonos when hardwiring. I have Dolby Digital/Atmos set to automatic.    Any other ideas?
