Is there a way to turn off a Sonos system remotely when you are out of town? My hubs was partying at our beach house and forgot to turn off the outdoor speakers last night. Neighbors were pissed.

I just moved into a new house and received the newer Xfinity XB7 Router. I am having issues setting up my Sonos network. I have my Gen2 Play 5 wired directly to the router and the Sonos rep said they can not see the device in the cloud.    Has anyone had same type of issues with XB7 Router?

The Sonos Move is my first and only Sonos device and I can’t get it to connect to my wifi. I have Xfinity wifi with a Deco 5 mesh network. I tried turning off 5GHz network on the Deco, but that didn’t help. Any ideas?

Hello, Just wondering if anyone used to experience or experiencing the same issue as me. My YouTube music (paid) was working fine the whole time with my Beam but all of a sudden today, it doesn’t work anymore. Whenever I request a song through Google Assistant, it always responses “Sorry, It looks like YouTube music isn’t currently available, please try again later.” I have tried to unlink my YouTube music and also google assistant but still not working. And I tried it on my Google Home, it’s working fine. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution? Thanks. Your confirmation number is: 489116950.

During the day, I usually have a playlist from my library setup to play in three rooms -- Office, Kitchen and Master Bedroom.  Around supper we usually pause that playlist, and then watch TV. At bedtime, I have another alarm (do not include grouped rooms) that is set to trigger a playlist in the Master Bedroom only that plays a small “silent” playlist, basically in order to clear the queue (since my other automation s/w seems to ADD to the playlist, but that’s another issue) before my 10:00pm “Night Night” playlist starts.  Whenever this 1 minute alarm triggers, the other two rooms start up again and continue playing where they left off.  Obviously this isn’t what I want.I can fully replicate this on demand so it isn’t just a fluke.Any ideas on this “bug”?My systems consist of this…Associated Product: 192.168.1.181---------------------------------Play:3: KitchenSonos OS: S2Version: 12.2.1 (build 61183170)Hardware Version: 1.8.1.3-1.2Series ID: A100---------------------------------Play:

I have 2 new One speakers and have added them to my sonos system as a pair. I am trying to add them as surround sound to my playbar but the app does not recognize them for surround sound. They work fine as a pair of stereo speakers in the room but I got them to add for surround sound. Any suggestions?

Just have my first sonos speaker, the move.  Thinking of buying a sound bar, a suband another move. Can I play 2 move speaker as seround speakers in 5.1?

Hello,    Ive recently bought the new iPhone SE and wanted to use the true play feature on my paired play 5s but I instantly get a network problem even though I’m connected to the same WiFi network as the speakers. I thought I’d try it on my iPad instead and it works perfectly fine, speakers tuned! I’ve triple checked all my settings, phone is updated, app is updated, WiFi network is correct. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the new iPhone SE or maybe even the iPhone 8 (as it’s pretty much the same phone). Everything else works on my iPhone SE: playing music, creating stereo pairs etc etc.

Hi guys,I haven’t got an email to contact support about this, it does not give me any option or to chat to an agent.I purchased my Sonos One (Gen 2) Only 6 months ago, the sound is distorted it was working perfectly up until recently completely distorted. The unit is unusable. I’ve attempted to restart it, tried every setting, all the troubleshooting tips and help I’ve been through have not made it any better. I was hoping someone could help me, or I could speak with a member of staff or email them, as I believe I’m still within my warranty rights. Can anyone assist? Thank you

I have just connected my Zone Player back into my system after moving house 2 years ago. It says it needs an update but unable to connect to update centre. Error 1101 Is it now redundant or can I get an old update to fix it? All other players and amp working fine. 

Hey,  Just bought a Sonos speaker for my daughter and I, but she set it up, and now when I connect to the speaker, under "my Sonos" all her favorit channels are shown on my device as well.  Can we some how have our own "my Sonos" (one for each of us) or are we bound to have to mix our preferences and my daughter and I to have no privacy in choice of podcasts and music?  Thank you all in advance.

I’m considering upgrading from the Sonos Connect but it is not clear to me whether the S2 update enables the Sonos Port to stream high resolution audio via coaxial digital. I would appreciate any feedback from subscribers to the forum.

Currently, I am connecting my PlayBar with TV via digital audio output  I am looking for brand new TV.  Is it a must that the new TV must have the digital audio output? Can I use the HDMI-ARC to connect my PlayBar with the new TV w/o the digital audio output? For assistance

Hi - I’ve just invested in a Sonos Beam and am unable to get a connection using the HDMI Arc socket on my Panasonic TX-40DX700 - launched in 2016. Following advice from other posters I have:disconnected all other HDMI leads from the TVunplugged both TV and Beam for five minuteschecked cable is secure both endsensured that I connected using the correct HDMI socket (middle of three)only connected the cable when the TV was switched on (when I do this the tv sound is muted)set the Viera Link to ‘on’ in settings on the TVset TV sound to Home CinemaWhenever I use the Sonos app to link the TV to the Beam I get the following message ‘HDMI ARC not detected. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the ARC port and your TV is on’. To check that the Beam was working I connected up using the optical lead. Immediately the TV’s sound came out of both the Beam and the TV. I tried to change the sound setting on the TV to Home Cinema rather than TV but that option was unavailable.I’m starting to run ou

The beam is installed and wired to the TV (ARC). But it still says that the ARC-connection still is not set up properly….. I already use the beam to play Spotify from my iPhone but now I want to add the TV.

I'm about to upgrade my Play 5s (gen1) to the new FIVEs.  Will the FIVEs still pair with my gen 1 Sub?  Moving all, hardware to S2 environment and note Sub is still supported by S2.   Hoping I can keep existing Sub.  Any advice?  

Hello, I’ve problems with Spotify playlist on the alarm. It does not start. I’ve a premium account, so i pay for Spotify with a family account.Streaming is no problem from devices. I’ve made several diagnostics and contacted Sonos (in the Netherlands).I’ve no issues regarding no network connection or whatever. Radio does work. Spotify does not work on a alarm, always the chime sound instead of Spotify playlist. Tried on Play3, AMP so no device related problem.Situation: Everything is S2 upgraded.on bottom floor: cable connected Boost (prime router, ASUS imesh network), Arc, 2xOne SL, Sub (gen3) second floor: two separate Play3 third floor: cable connected Play One on cabled imesh ASUS network, Play3, AMPI’ve no problems with Wifi, no problems with Sonos. The’ve checked the network and everything was within “safe” connection zone (all green). Can someone please tell me why doe the Spotify account not start in the morning? It had been working fine before. The problems started round june/

Can i not use my own sonos login when connecting to sonos system on my work or at my friends? 

So I was listening to music in both rooms then all of a sudden it stoped connecting to the sonos 1 through wifi and I can’t get it too connect. I done a diagnostic ( 65327139). I’ve reset it disconnected and reconnected with the Ethernet cable etc and nothing works 

My S2 app suddenly will not connect to the speakers but I can still play music through Alexa.
