I want to connect 2 sonos move speakers to a smart tv wirelessly in my kitchen only for watching soccer.I have a sonos beam in an ajoining room . I then want to be able to pair the beam with the 2 move  speakers to play music throughout kitchen and ajoining room. I know i can do this so the question i have is really can I connect the two sonos move  speakers wirelessly to smart tv in kitchen

HI, I had the Sonos Arc installed a few weeks ago. I am trying to use the TV Samsung remote to control volume, but I can’t. I can only do it from the app. My wife is getting nuts. Should be pretty easy. Sorry for asking. Thanks for your help.Best 

I have seen many people complaining that the action/music is way too loud and if you turn it down you can't hear the voices. The set up is Arc, sub and 2 x one's.I too have this issue.I did a Trueplay recently and watched Vikings on Amazon Prime and it was perfect.  Voices were clear, sub and surrounds worked a treat.  No need to keep adjusting sound throughout the programme.Normal TV also fine for watching the news etc.I thought this meant my longstanding issues had been resolved.  But sadly not.  We have tried watching several programmes on Netflix and we are back to the same issue.  Dolby Vison/Atmos is the worst and is so loud its actually unplayable unless you use nightmode.  UHD also same problem for me.  So, is this a problem with Netflix, if so has anyone else had the issue and how to resolve it?I am so frustrated as I thought the recent Trueplay had resolved my issues but as I say the Action/Music noises are way too overpowered on Netflix.  Its as thought the Trueplay hasn't w

Hi, I have a Sonos Amp (new generation). its been plugged in october. I noticed that often when changing songs on Spotify, I would hear a popping / cracking sound from my left speaker. I tried to reproduce the problem but it was really random. A week ago, it started cracking /popping at random pretty much at any time, on any source like when I use Spotify, my TV or my Amazon Fire stick. I interchanged the left and right speaker to see if the problem was coming from the speakers, and it was still only affecting the left channel... I tried new cables, new banana plug... New hdmi cable... Connected to my network with a cable... Still no luck…Is there a possibility that my amp needs to be repaired or maybe there's an update or something I could do? Thanks!

Hello everyone.   I have two IKEA speakers, connected on a almost dedicated wifi network (only a phone is also connected to it), with excellent connectivity to the router and no conflicting wifi networks.  Listening to web radios and MP3 320kbs stored on my NAS works like a charm, but when I pick any FLAC music I get buffering errors, 1001 errors, or one second of music and numerous skipping and so on.  The NAS is directly connected with a CAT 5E ethernet cable to the wireless AP, that shouldn't be a problem. Besides, listening to the music with a computer on the same wifi next to the speakers works flawlessly.  What can I do to remedy to this problem? I am getting hopeless and it's next to impossible to use          

Hi,With the ever increasing SMART home adoption and the lack of security from the 10’s if not 100’s of IoT devices that are being installed in peoples homes and offices it is a real surprise that segregating Sonos devices onto their own subnet is such a challenge. I recently moved to an area where my internet service is fast, but with a spotty connection due to the way the infrastructure was built and the environmental factors in my area.  None of my existing Sonos speakers are bluetooth enabled so when the internet goes down, so does my Sonos system because it can’t connect to my streaming services and I don’t have a way to manually connect a phone or other audio storage device.  I have 6 play One’s and 2 sound bars, none of which have an input jack.  If I purchase one of the new bluetooth enabled Sonos speakers will I be able to use that as the input to continue using my entire existing Sonos system?

Can see speakers but sometimes can't connect to some, not always the same speakers. If connected, control is intermittent, such as next track stops working for 10 minutes or so, then does. Grouping listed speakers works sometimes, doesn't other times, some will add to group some won't, different speakers at different times. Sometimes no problem, sometimes shows as grouped and then will ungroup. Volume control sometimes works sometimes doesn't. Playback sometimes just stops, sometimes jumps to next track. Problems seen in both Sonos app and Spotify. I'm on 100MB broadband connection. Using S1 app, with obsoleted play 5, and a playbar (with Ethernet cable) and play 3 that managed to survive the cull. Issues becoming progressively worse, started just over a year ago when Sonos started pressing me to brick and buy again.

First post here.  I am definitely not a Sonos expert so I am going to try and articulate this (probably simple) question as best I can!So right now I have 2 ancient Gen1 ConnectAmps that power 3 rooms and 2 zones.  To be more specific, I have one zone called “Patio” with wired speakers connecting to the first ConnectAmp and a second zone called “Kitchen / Diving Room” that connects the wired speakers in both those rooms (operating as basically a combined zone) to the second ConnectAmp.What I would like to do is purchase 2 new Sonos amps, keep one of my old ConnectAmps, and basically move the currently combined zone to its own individual zone. That would mean putting Kitchen as Zone 1 on the new Amp, Dining Room as Zone 2 on the second new Amp, and then leaving Patio as its own Zone on the old ConnectAmp.  That seems pretty basic to me, but the more I read the more confused I become so wanted to ask the question here.  Is that a viable option?  In theory, I don’t see why that would not

The layout of my room required that I mount the Sonos ARC 2 feet closer to the adjacent left wall than the right wall. The image between the ARC and the left wall is perfect.  However the image  between the ARC and the right wall is practically nonexistent. I have in wall speakers powered by an AMP for surround.  The problem presents itself regardless of TRUEPLAY and surround level.  It’s a real disappointment that I can’t figure out how to remedy. I’ve been on with Sonos support a couple times but this problem falls outside of their expertise. I would be grateful to anyone who has an idea of how to address this issue.   

I recently moved my Play 3 to a different location. I can not connect it and the light shows a solid amber light or just white light but I can't connect. I tried everything that is recommended (rebooting, changing place, changing device to connect, etc). My husband,s phone can connect to it but my Ipad or Iphone can’t. My husband’s Iphone can’t connect to the other Sonos Play 1 we have (and which works perfectly for me). What shall I do?? Thank you. 

Hey, about 2 years ago i bought a Play 5 gen 2 with the thoughts that i would some day buy one more to pair them together. Now a bought a Sub gen 3, a playbar and a Sonos Five.Since sonos said the Play 5 and the Sonos Five were almost identical i thought it was obvious that they would pair and be usable together for a surround setup. I cant get them to pair, do i really need to buy another Sonos Five to finish my surround setup? I was so hyped by my purchase but this turned me off so much

I just purchased and set up a new ASUS-RT-AC86U/CA Dual Band Wireless Router. I have tried several times to connect the Sonos One to no avail. I searched this community and found an answer from 3 years ago. I moved the Sonos One right next to the router. I adjusted the router settings per the community answer to: wireless menu>>Professional Tab>>Airtime Fairness - and disabled. I tried the setup through the Sonos App on my iPhone but it did not work (the Sonos network does not appear in wifi settings). So then I used the alternative set up and plugged the speaker directly into the router. The speaker worked instantly. I could play music from the app and I could use the Hey Google command. So then I moved the Sonos One back to where I originally had it placed. I plugged it in, went to the app and it showed the many stations I could connect to but when I tried, it says it cannot locate the Sonos One. I have a question regarding what formats the Digital Out (coax) on the Sonos Port outputs. No matter what types of FLAC files I play with the Sonos Port it always output the audio format 44.1kHz, 24 bit. The files are located in my personal music library.Files that I've tried:44.1kHz, 16 bit FLAC 44.1kHz, 24 bit FLAC 48kHz, 16 bit FLAC 48kHz, 24 bit FLACAll these files are outputted as 44.1kHz, 24 bit from the Sonos Port according to my DAC.My questionIs this the correct behavior of the Sonos Port? HiWhen saving a song from Apple Music within Sonos there are a couple of options. Save to playlist is good and I can see the music in the playlist selected. Another option is save to my Sonos. I can’t seem to find the music after selecting this option. Where is the music saved to? I don’t necessarily want to add to a playlist all the time.cheersrob

I’m looking at my first Sonos installation to cover an open plan area which includes the living/dinning room and kitchen with total area of 700sq ft. in a rectangular layout. - The must haves are ceiling speakers.Would appreciate some recommendations on the best set-up and number of speakers to cover the area. thanks!   

I just adding a couple of Sonos 5s to my collection.  A couple of questions; Do the 5s have to be vertical to work in a stereo pair mode or can they also work horizontally? Pro's and cons for vertical/horizontal.Since I also have ARC, 2 ONE SLs & Gen 3 Sub I guess I also have the option to use the 5s as surround rears but I think in my room that might be a little too much.Appreciate your feedback, Regards, Ivan

I’m currently waiting for my Arc, Sub3 and One SLs to come in. But also thinking about getting the Amp or port to listen to vinyl as well. Maybe a dumb question, but say I have my Arc, Sub, and One SLs in my family room and my turntable downstairs plugged into an Amp or Port. Can I connect via wi-fi and listen to my turntable through Arc/Sub setup upstairs?

Good Day,I have a large Sonos system with one sub already paired with a Play 5.  I do not have, nor want, any of the Sonos playbars as I have a nice wired surround sound system.  My question is, can I pair a second sub to another set of Sonos Fives in the same system?  So in other words, I am looking to get the deep bass on both sides of a large room.  I would be pairing the second sub with another set of speakers in the same overall house.  Any help would be very much appreciated.  Thank  you..

I use Spotify between several devices. Usually, I can switch it seamlessly between my Sonos, TV, phone and computer. However, a few days ago, I can no longer connect it to the Sonos. It appears in my “Connect to a Device” list, but will not actually connect.I’ve updated its firmware and tried unplugging it several times, but nothing seems to work.Any fixes or advice?Thanks!Keith

Are there any known issues with Move and WiFi mesh networks, in my case Plume Networks? I have been having issues connecting my Apple devices using AirPlay 2 to my Sonos Move, but only when I move it.  I can connect without any issues when the Move is at it’s base.  Ie it is connected to its typical WiFi pod, and that WiFi pod happens to be Ethernet connected to my router.  However, when I move the Move into another room I can always see the Move listed on my Apple devices as a speaker that I can AirPlay to, but it typically, but not always, fails to connect.  Also, sometimes, when it is playing music away from its base, after using it for a while it disconnects and I’m unable to connect it again. As a note I have tried multiple devices, iPhones (XS and 11) an an iPad, all on the latest O/S.   Also, I am NOT using SonosNet, ie everything is connected to the same WiFi network, none of the Sonos devices are connected to Ethernet. Hi everyone,Posting here to see if anyone has run into this issue themselves, because it is one of the more peculiar issues I’ve run into. Spotify works fine on Sonos except for two use cases that I have identified.Spotify runs into the “An error occurred while adding songs to the queue (701)” error when trying to play songs specifically from the “Your Library > Liked Songs” section, however I believe this is probably due to the fact that I have a lot of songs saved on Spotify and Sonos might not be able to handle a queue import of a certain length.So I tested this theory by going to a joke Spotify playlist I made a few years back (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3g6qK5QC298x5YnVk3Kebn?si=g9lm_npFRh-OOPxA-hRrdA) which just has 10,000 copies of George Michael’s seminal Christmas hit ‘Last Christmas’, and I ran into exactly the same issue “An error occurred while adding songs to the queue (701)”.Is there an internal queue limit that Sonos uses?
