Sony 65A9G Android (all streaming via SONY Android)Sonos ARC, SUB Gen3 and BoostFIOS QuantaumSound never drops while watching TV via FIOS. Sound drops randomly when using any streaming service, Prime and Britbox are the worst. Restoring sound is different for each service. Prime is the most cumbersome, requiring me to select SETTINGS,AUDIO SYSTEM SPEAKERS TV SPEAKERS, which forces an HDMI error and causes restart of the program. Netflix is more forgiving and usually continues after the TV Speaker selection. This is my first time with Sonos products, at times I wish my Pioneer receiver and Polk sound bar were still installed. I have read many comments on this issue with no FIX offered.

So just a simple question.  does trueplay tuning EQ the Left/Centre/Right channels in an Arc independently of each other or as a whole? im not asking about volume balance that is done before the tuning, I’m specifically curious about eq. for example if your left side of your arc is close to a wall and your right side isn’t, will it eq less bass from the left channel to make up from the boundary reflections from the wall? Or will it just eq all 3 channels the same?

So I’ve just gotten 2 One SL’s to use as surrounds and have tried all night tonight to get them tuned correctly.    No matter what I do they are always unbalanced with the right one being to loud. I even factory reset them and swapped them to make sure one wasn’t faulty.    Anyone got any ideas? One thing I’m thinking is factory resetting the surrounds and then trueplaying just the beam and then adding the surrounds and leaving them untuned and manually balancing them.

I recently installed a Sonos 1 in my office, I have 6 speakers in my home. I enabled the alexa feature and asked her to play a song ( I have amazon music), the respone I continue to get is “hmm...to do this you must enable the skill in the alexa app and then ask me to discover devices”. The speaker is set-up in the alexa app and the songs skill is enabled. The speakers I have at home still work as they should, any idea what would remedy this?

I’m thinking about purchasing the Sonos Surround Set, which includes the Arc, Sub and two One SLs. Is it possible to use the Arc as a center channel and connect two other traditional tower speakers as my front R and L speakers? Would I also need to purchase a Sonos Amp?

HiI want to use my own sub and rear speakers in my home theater.  RIght now i have an arc mounted for the front three channels.  But i see with the amp i can only power the sub OR the rear speakers in a surround sound config, not both.  That is absurd.  Anyone have a workaround that doesn’t cost $700 more?? thanks!

Hi All, I recently purchased my Arc + Sub.  It sounds great, but at random times, both Arc and Sub will not give me any sound until I physically unplug and then plug it back in.    At first, I thought it was an eArc issue, but it doesn’t even show up in the Sonos app for me to play music either. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi - I moved from the UK to China and now want to use QQ Music through my SONOS system as well. Reading through some articles here I understand I have to use Qplay on QQ Music, be connected to the same WiFi with Sonos and my smartphone and set the location to China in profile on sonos.com. I also updated to the S2 controller.Did all of that - but it still cannot see Sonos on Qplay. Any suggestion highly welcome - I am struggeling!thanksChris

Soundbar started buzzing last night on every channel, app - everything. My mac is fine when on youtube tv - meaning it’s not my wifi.

The app keeps freezing at the end of the first test after the two circles merge into one large green circle.   Nothing then happens and it just stalls. I’ve tried turning off all other apps and restarting the speakers (play at and sub) but nothing seems to help get past this block.  I’ve just setup a beam in another room so the app has worked previously, so not sure what it can be. Any help gratefully appreciated.  im using an iPhone 11 with latest updates.  many thanks

Hello - I have a Sonos One and a Sonos One SL paired in my kitchen and I would like to use them with Apple Airplay.  Apple Airplay seems them, but has never been able to connect - return error message “AirPlay - Unable to connect to “Kitchen””.Everything seems up to date, so I stuck for a solution

I added my new Sonos Move to the wrong email address and cannot connect it with my existing Sonos system. How do I get it onto the correct the email address?

Hello, we have a mix of new and old Sonos devices I ended up setting up two parallell systems, S1 and S2,  on our network. It works ok, with both S1 and S2 controllers on our Mac and iPhones. But on the Mac when starting or connecting to the network the S1 app it will find the S2 device first, refuse to connect and suggests upgrading. As a work around I power off the S2 device the S1 controller will connect to the S1 device and I can then start the S2 device again. On the iPhone this works as it should and connects to the correct device.Anyone else with this problems? Any suggestions or better work around?Ps I had a conversation with Sonos support without any resolution

I’m pretty sure this will get buried with all the other Youtube Music threads, but I could not find one that describes my situation. Now that Google Play Music is being decommissioned, I find myself with a prospect for a severely degraded experience.I have a Google Play Music / Youtube Music subscription (family plan, if that matters at all).I also have a Sonos Beam + 2x Ikea Symfonisk as surrounds.I want a very simple thing - to put a mix of music on my system, starting from a certain song. No offline playback, no personal library, no custom playlists.(As a bit of a background, I previously used a Google Home Mini speaker to which I could say “Hey Google, play X by Y” and it would play that song and continue a mix on Google Play Music - there was no Youtube Music back then) So how can I do that?In the Google Play Music App - search for song, hit the three dots → Start Radio. Then, click the “Cast” button and choose my Sonos setup This is the only way I found it to work satisfactory no

I'm a happy Sonos customer, and I'm contemplating using Sonos Move speakers for outdoor use. I know I can set up 2 speakers as a stereo pair. Can I group 2 stereo pairs of Move speakers (total of 4)? I've read in the forum that you can do that with Sonos Ones. If I do that with the Move, will the automatic TruePlay work correctly with all 4 speakers in the environment?

I just got my first product, a Sonos One. The speaker does not appear as an AirPlay option. Additionally, even though I have set up the speaker through the app, on the AirPlay screen in the app it shows “no compatible products found.”

Hi All,I am having issues with my Sonos system and to be honest I have tried everything I can think off. This is my last Hope before I stick it all on eBay. So I have a Sonos Beam and two Sonos play ones( 2nd gen) in my living room. The two play ones act as surrounds for the beam. However every single day after approx 6 hours, the Sonos system complains it has no internet connection (via google assistant), when it complains the two play ones drop all sound and do nothing. However the beam still works but can’t voice control it. The system, is connected wirelessly via a WiFi 6 router, using DHCP and IP address reservation. When the sonos  complains it has no internet connection, I can see in my router the Sonos system is connected and has been given the right IP address. All other devices in my network can access the internet fine.  in the Sonos app, it tells me that the two play ones (LS + RS) are not configured. The app even tells me the Sonos is connected to the wireless network.  To

Hi I get this issue on and off every couple of weeks when my iPhone won't connect to my sonos system My iPad, iMac and fire tablet all work fine i have removed the sonos app on the iPhone and re installed and still not working. re booted iphone, disconnected the wifi etc after a few days it normally reconnects any ideas??

When I try to play music from my music library I get the “unable to play because computer can’t find the server message.”  And the pathway to the specific song - which Sonos can’t find - is the pathway from my old computer that I got rid of about 18 months ago.  I was able to play music from my library until recently - I cannot remember if the change happened after I upgraded to Big Sur or not.  Any advice?Facts:  My Music Library is on my Mac.  I have removed the old music folder in the Sonos settings which had been carried over from before the upgrade and have installed the new music folder.  I have also uninstalled the Sonos controller - S1 since i have an old speaker - and reinstalled it to see if that would shake things up.  Again, even though I have installed my new music folder for some reason Sonos still searches for the old pathway when I click on a song.  There is no firewall on.  File Sharing is not checked.   And I access the Sonos speaker over wireless but not my library.

hi. wanting to know what product to use to achieve this: i have 6 sonos play ONE with alexa speakers in each room of the house. when i bought my home the previous owners had high quality speakers installed in the ceiling of each room that i've never used. there are a ton of wires sticking out of the wall in the garage. how do i connect my sonos speakers to these speakers? will this work? i get a stereo system and connect it to those wires and then buy the new sonos port and connect it to that stereo system. the idea here is to have the 6 sonos ones play the same music as the existing wall/ceiling speakers. if there's a different way, i appreciate any and all help!

When I access Audible through SONOS, my most recently acquired book is missing from my library. It’s there in Audible’s app and website. All my other books are available in SONOS. Just not the one I’m currently listening to. I’ve tried:-- Letting the book play a bit in the Audible app, thinking maybe getting it to clear “In Progress” status might make it appear.-- Reauthorizing the Audible service-- Removing and re-adding the Audible serviceBut all to no avail.  So frustrating!I see that someone asked this same question about a year ago, with one “me too” comment, but no other activity on that question (which is now closed to further comment, thus my new post here).Has anyone else encountered this problem, and is there a solution?

HiSince a few days back my Sonos system has started to occasionally repeat the last played song on its own, both playlist and album tracks. Quite annoying and isn’t always occurring it seems. I’ve read some old posts dating back a few years but no other posts in recent time.Have a look please, diagnose number 1515669413/LK

I just got my Sonos Beam set up and it’s been playing music great from my iPhone, iPad, and just from the Sonos itself after setting up a voice assistant. However, I’ve run into a problem with my 2016 MacBook Pro. Whenever I Airplay computer audio to the Beam, it looks like everything is working correctly: the Sonos app even displays the correct Youtube video name. But there is no sound coming out of the speaker itself.I wanted to listen to songs on YouTube using Airplay from my computer. Any idea why this might not be working? I’ve tried the standard troubleshooting process (restarting the speaker, computer, and router) But so far still nothing. Any help would be appreciated

I installed a Playbar this week. It is connected to a Vizio TV and an Xfinity setup box - fairly basic setup. I have paired the Xfinity remote to control the TV and Sonos playbar volume. When I hit the “off” button on the remote, it powers down all devices. However, my Playbar turns back in the middle of the night - usually 4am. I have tried all creative options to troubleshoot, but cannot figure out the root cause.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,I likely have the worst acoustic space known to man.  My Sonos Arc SL is mounted on the edge of an entertainment center, roughly 26 inches up from the floor.  It sits a good 14 inches from the wall.  Please see pictures of my room but here are the rough dimensions. Room is probably 50 feet long (from Sonos, straight out to the far wall). There are several posts throughout the room.  The room width is roughly 30 feet.My chairs are probably 8 feet from the Sonos and are directly in front of it.  I have Sofa’s on each side but they are not the primary sitting area.Ceiling is roughly 9 feet.Standing in front of hte Sonos, the right side is open another 14 feet until the wall. Here are my questions:How should I run the second part of the true play calibration?  Just around my sitting area or try to go to all edges of the wall on the ends of the basement? Per the Peter Pee video, should I angle my Arc soundbar a bit to get better ATMOS. Any other recommendations? My music (Tidal HD) sou
