I’m unable to use Apple Music right now. Message from SONOS:“Unable to browse music - there was a problem connecting to Apple Music”What is the problem? Anybody know what’s going on?

I’m not sure if this is a Sonos, Nvidia, or Samsung question…I recently started using an Nvidia Shield Pro (2019 version) and hooked it up to my TV and Playbar.  My TV is a Samsung UN55MU8000F.  The Playbar is connected via optical digital cable, and the TV speakers are turned off, so that the only sound is coming out of the Playbar (a *huge* improvement over the TV speakers). However, I’m only able to control the Playbar volume with the app from my phone.  I can’t it with the Shield remote.I would seem reasonable if it were possible to connect the Playbar to the Shield remote volume controls via the Shield IR-settings… but when I go there, “Sonos” is not an option for the soundbar brand to connect to.If anyone can answer this, I’d be most grateful.  Or if this has already been answered elsewhere, please point me in the right direction.Thank you in advance!

Devices are off, TV is off, but Beam decides to play random sounds for about 10 seconds at around midnight, every night. Spooky and annoying. Couldn't find solutions from older threads.Where does the command come from? I don't recognize the source by hearing, but I took diagnostics immediately after, conf. number 298326721

In the last couple of days, I have had problems playing any Pocketcasts episodes on my Sonos speakers.  I have tried multiple speakers and all of them get an “Error adding songs to the queue”.  All speakers can play other content, like Spotify.  Is this an overall Sonos/Pocketcasts issue?

How can i combine two rooms (not grouping)? Why is it not possible to autoplay in different rooms? Why does the sonos app create a new room Dining Room 2 when i wanted to add a new product to my Dining Room? Why does the sonos macOS app have less options than the android app to adjust your current system (change room names, etc.) (makes absolutely no sense to me)

Hi, I would like to know if there is latency/delay when you couple wired speakers (Cabasse jersey) and wireless speakers (sonos one or sonos play) with Sonos connect or Port. Thanks,Benjamin

Hi,I’m struggling with this problem from over a year and hope I can get it resolved. This is my setup:5 sonos Play:1 speakers in different rooms2 sones Play:1 speakers in surround mode1 Playbar in surround mode with the two Play:1 above1 BoostThe Boost is hardwired to the Network and I am using SonosNet on Channel 11. All the other speakers are wireless. Previously, I didn’t have a boost but I hoped the purchasing a Boost would solve the issue. I have reconfigured the whole setup from scratch. Uninstalled and removed all the apps from my iPhone and iPads, unlinked the accounts and reconnected everything.  What is the problem? All the speakers are visible and working correctly in the Sonos S2 app. However, after a while, the Sonos speakers are disappearing from the Spotify app. Up until the situation that all speakers are gone and I’m no longer able to play music from Spotify on my Sonos system. For now, the only resolution is to power cycle all the speakers, reboot the network and afte

I use my Sonos One speakers to listen to radio on TuneIn quite a bit.  Around the beginning of this year (2021), a bunch of stations disappeared -- if I ask the Google Assistant to play them it says, sure, then says it can’t find what it’s looking for.  The same stations still come up if I ask for them on other Google devices or my Cortana speaker, and certain stations still come up on the Sonos speakers. Is there some reason certain TuneIn stations disappeared from the Sonos -- and only the Sonos -- system?

Just setup a new Symfonisk (via WIFI) on my WIFI network. It is the only Sonos on the Network. My Network scanner is now seeing 2 new MAC addresses. One is clearly the WIFI MAC of the device - related to the serial #. But what is the second MAC that is appearing randomly? It almost looks like some type of Virtual MAC address. (A2-E3-6B ………...).The unit is working fine. Thanks,

hi!Just been on a chat with sonos trying to sort out issues with playing music from my Huawei P10 (running android 9.1.0 and emui 9.10) to my sonos play 1 speaker.  I used to have a deezer subscription but ceased paying for it last year.I have been trying to use my speaker to play music from my library on my phone, unsuccessfully. The app skips tracks without playing the whole song and then stops working altogether. It also throws up messages about network connection issues even when I have the speaker plugged into the router. The chat with sonos suggested the issue was moving off the app to use the phone for something else and the screen powering off. Has this been an issue for others?  I have changed my phone settings so the screen never powers off and have only had the app running. All is good, but this doesn't really work!  I need to use the phone to do other things, which I could do when streaming.  Are there any gets rounds? I'm using the Huawei music app, but would try something

I have a mix of new and old products and was running the S1 Controller App.  I was trying to add a Beam to my Sonos network but is forcing me to use S2 app which I don’t want to do.  How do I override and continue to use the S1 app - I have thousands of dollars invested in older Sonos equipment and have no interest in upgrading it.

I have exchanged a faulty Sonos Move device with a replacement device. How do I remove the original Move device from the Sonos 2 app. System/Products shows my original ‘Sonos Move’ as being ‘Offline’ with no apparent way to remove it (very irritating to keep seeing a device that has been replaced!!)

From last 2 days my app is not connecting to my arc 5.1.2 setup? I’ve rebooted everything including the router. How do I fix this? thanks

So i’ve just bought beam and move and have been woefully disappointed that i neither group two speakers for surround for TV watching or playing spotify in separate rooms at the same time together.  For grouping, the app says you need 3 or more rooms! I’ve come across posts such as thissaying you can and also articles https://www.imore.com/does-sonos-move-work-other-sonos-speakers such as this that inspired me to incorporate TV and music about the house.  I’m seriously thing about returning these speakers and going full out audiophile with an amp and some fyne’s.

Why am I getting advertising (an ad) when I turn on my radio using TuneIn?

I have 2015 Samsung JU7100 that has a proprietary HDMI switch.  Does anyone have this with the HDFury device connection to the Sonia Arc?Does the proprietary switch pass thru Atmos from an AppleTV to the HDFury » Arc?

Hi,I have to install 4 Sonos ONE in a room, each one approx. placed in the cornor and connected with netcable (so no wifi). Is there any recommendations to the setup of the speakers. I´m thinking making 2 stereo pairs vs. 4 mono speakers, or is this what suits me best?RegardsRobert

Hello,I am experiencing a network related issue with a new Sonos One Gen 2 where after 8-12 hours of uptime, the Sonos device stops responding to ARP requests for its IPv4 address, leading to a case where it can no longer be found by the Sonos app nor pinged at its IPv4 address until the Sonos is rebooted. Force disconnecting the Sonos from WiFi and allowing it to reconnect also restores connectivity. This Sonos device is the only Sonos device in my system and is connected via WiFi through a Ubiquiti Unifi AC Lite AP. No other devices on this network exhibit similar issues.Once in this “bad” state, adding a static ARP entry on my Mac allows me to ping the device, as well as allows the Mac Sonos app to discover the device. However, this does not restore connectivity from the mobile app (as expected).Any insight into this? I was able to capture diagnostic # 516203405 while in the “bad” state using the Mac app as well.

Hi - I am trying to add my FLAC file collection to Sonos which is now stored on OneDrive but I receive the error message ‘is no longer available’. Is it possible to link to OneDrive on my MacBook without all the files being downloaded to my HD or not? If not - can you recommend a workaround? (I have the same files on my LAN in WD MyCloud which doesn't work either, or I could add them to my iMac but Sonos doesn’t seem able to find this machine on the same network!) Appreciate any pointers please…(Used to work fine when I had the files stored on my PC but that one is now on the scrap-heap...)

I want to use my pc audio wirelessly on my sonos system.i.e when I´m playing audio from different sources. youtube, vimeo etc.I have play one and play five. thanks in advance.

I would iike to use my revel M106 speakers with the sonos amp. It is my understanding that I can’t use trueplay with non sonos speakers (someone correct me if I’m wrong). My question is using the sonos amp with my speakers and adding the sonos sub. Can I use trueplay in this scenario? Thanks

I’ve recently upgraded to Sky Q, from Sky+ HD, and now get strange static/pulsing sounds when changing channels.   Before Sky Q I had: Sky + HD → HDMI → Samsung 46F8000 → HDMI-ARC → Beam Sky box was set to send DD over HDMI.  Tv passed it through HDMI-ARC to the Beam, and confirmed in the Sonos app that the Beam was receiving DD5.1 or DD2.0 when viewing HD channels on the Sky box, and Stereo on SD channels.  I also have and Apple TV and Samsung Blu-Ray connected via HDMI, and again DD is passed through to the Beam as expected. I did have some strange occurrences recently where the Beam seemed to switch from DD to stereo randomly on the same channel of the Sky box, but I had no way of telling which part of the chain was the issue (Sky HD box was pretty old).   I’ve now swapped the Sky + HD box with a Sky Q 1TB box.  So now I have: Sky Q → HDMI → Samsung 46F8000 → HDMI-ARC → Beam Sky Q is set to send DD over HDMI.  The Beam shows it is receiving DD5.1 or DD2.0 as expected.  However, when

Hi, I’ve looked through many topics, rebooted, reauthorised, entered my account details again,  and still Spotify won’t connect. Please help!   diagnostic number 1384717218. Thank you

Very sad.  I saw that Costco was carrying a two-pack of Sonos One SL, something I’ve wanted for awhile. So I pick them up, bring them home, have no trouble configuring them using the Sonos S2 app as a stereo pair in the living room. Except playing music on them. A short digression: we had Sonos speakers (generation 1 amps) in the previous house, wired to various speakers spread throughout the house. We using the Sonos S1 app to control them, and until relatively recently, played music directly from the ipad to them.  Life was good. Then Sonos decided to drop support for playing from an ipad, so I used a Windows Media Player on a Windows 10 system, controlled by the S1 app on the ipad. Life was still good. We had tunes. For the life of me, I can’t get the Windows Media Player library working with the S2 app. I can get the app to see it: but all the subfolders (albums, artists, folders, playlists, etc) are empty:-(  Clicking “update music library” doesn’t make anything show up.  I (brief

Every now and then the SONOS 1 repeats a sentence or two that was broadcast a few moments before ie, part of the narrative is repeated.  This usually happens on BBC Radio 4 or so it seems.  Has anyone had this experience and if so, what do I do about it?
